Booked a boat tour 8/31 for 9/3 at 3pm was called and informed after booking on 9/2 that due to Covid boat tour wasn't an option only a bus tour at 9:30am I had already booked other stuff but thought I could make it work to keep kids entertained long story short tried to cancel the new imposed tour and was told I couldn't because when tour guide called to notify me of change I should of cancelled then! Very disappointed. We were told we could ride the buses throughout the route and visit several places in Miami and Miami Beach. Not true. We got a tour of south Miami Beach and over to downtown Miami. We had an hour stop at Bayside market. We were told when we purchased the bus ticket we could add the boat tour for additional $10 each at the dock if the weather looked good. Not true. They would only do $20 each. So we did anyway. Mistake! Boat tour was a joke. Then we get back and were looking forward to seeing the northern part of Miami Beach. They take us in a covered bus straight back to main office on Lincoln and we all have to get off. I asked the service desk how we could get a bus to see the northern part. She said that was not part of the tour. Only for hotel drop off. That was not what we were sold. Sorry. Next time we will use Big Bus or anyone besides this!! read more

IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD. Terrible customer service. We were dropped off at a different drop off location due to a marathon and we're told we would get picked up here too. We waited 2 hrs to not get picked up. We had to track down a driver in the middle of the street so we could get picked up and taken back, ruined the rest of our plans for the night. Avoid at all costs! Dangerous and racist drivers. Just take a taxi or Uber, you won't learn anything, the views are not any more impressive. We were left in Little Havana when our bus left early. The schedule they gave us says the bus leaves at 5:15. We got to the stop at about 5:00 and no bus came. We called the office and they told us the last bus leaves little Havana at 4:40. I'm looking at the schedule as I write this and there is no way I'm misunderstanding it. Why give us a schedule with incorrect times? We called the office and FINALLY they sent an Uber to come get us and take us to the final stop where we would could take the next groups bus back to Miami Beach. This Uber ride would be the only safe and mildly enjoyable ride provided to us by Miami Double Decker. Our driver on our return trip was especially bad. He didn't didn't wait for anyone from the bottom of our bus to get off at our final departure stop. He allowed some people from the top of the bus to get off while the bottom stood waiting in the aisle. He slammed on the gas making everyone standing in line in the aisle to get off fall backwards including my father in law holding my 16 month old son. Then told my wife "F*** China" when she criticized his dangerous driving. The way he was driving I suspect he was probably drunk. We called the office to office to share what happened and complain about our experience and they hung up on us and would not allow us to speak to management. Because the office did not seem concerned we called the police to report the driver. It is a matter of time before this company causes someone to get hurt. We took the 3 in 1 package tour (Everglades tour, city tour and boat tour). The Everglades tour was okay, we checked in before 9 and the bus came on time. However, on the city tour, the bus was very crowded. We sat on the first floor because the top floor was full and it was really hot, the windows don't open. The speaker was terrible so we couldn't hear the tour guide. When we got to little Havanna, we were all told to go to a Cuban cigarette shop which was too small for the number of people we had. I booked 1 hour tour for 4 People and once bought, had to call to ask address and many other questions unanswered at the site.... Also wanted 2 hours which he said it was ok... The person who took my reservation instructed us to wait on the sidewalk in front of our hotel. We waited 45 minutes and the bus never arrived. I called several times to get a status and was given multiple excuses. After an hour of waiting, I requested a refund and was told that was not an option. I now have to work with my credit card company to dispute a charge for service that was not rendered. First let me start by saying the people in the main office forgot to hit save whenever we made the reservation in the morning from our condo so we ended up waiting a whole hour before they picked us up. Very disappointed, this Tour was not at all worth it! Basically it was a long Bus ride to the Biscayne Bay Area. Aside from that it was very dangerous sitting at the top of the Bus during the trip. We went through a small section of a Residential area and not only myself, but others were caught off guard and with no for warning hit by several Trees and Branches. I received a call from an employee letting me know this and that they could not accommodate me for that time slot today. They wanted to reschedule me for another day. Just returning from a trip on the Miami Double Decker. The bus was super comfortable n the tour guide, Han, was super impressive w the 5 languages he speaks. Very cool guy! We toured, key west on a trolley for 90 mins n then went to Dante's. That place was pumping just like a Vegas pool party. Drinks were delicious. Great option for a little getaway! This ride was horrible, there were so many inconvienences. at our first stop, we were supposed to take off at 2:35, yet we left at 2:55. The person giving us the tour was very ignorant and rude. We waited under the sun for 20 minutes. the bus driver kicked everyone out of the bus and made everyone wait outside. They made us sit at a restaurant for 20 minutes waiting for a boat ticket. And when we asked where to ger the tickets from, the lady was mean about it. When we got out of our boat at the end of the tour there was no bus or a tour guide waiting for us. From tour route, to tour guide (more music than commentary), to the logistical hand-off to the boat portion of the tour, this experienced was absolutely not worth the price of admission. Of all the city bus tours I have taken this by far is the WORST! Can you say kickback heaven. This is not a hop on/off situation. This is not a general tour of Miami. This is a guided tour to the exact places they want you to go. You can just tell from what they say, what is going on and how this plays out that everyone is get a cut of the action at your expense. Biscayne Bay Cruise...Horrible! Do NOT give them a penny. We had the worst experience because they LIE! We were told they would transfer us to the boat dock and we waited 1 hour for the van. Had to ride on the top of the bus in the pouring rain which wasn't the tour company's fault but I did get smacked in the face more than once by low hanging tree branches. Once so hard it displaced my glasses. (Luckily they weren't broken). The tour guide started out describing the sites in English then translating in Spanish. As the tour progressed he stopped speaking in English and only described sites in Spanish. He would often let us pass sites before he would point them out so picture taking was out of the question as well as even being able to see them. When we stopped for lunch, the guide who was leading us to this "cheap" eating place failed to wait until those of us who were forced to ride the top to navigate the slippery steps and disembark so we had to hunt our own eating place and to hunt down the port that we were to board for the remaining boat tour. Overall, my family was very disappointed in this experience and would not recommend it to anyone who is looking for a tour of the city. My daughter says that the site she scheduled the tour on gave it a high rating but It must have been headed by a totally different crew than what we had. The guide was more interested in asking for tips than providing info that was important to the tour patrons. We had fun on this tour of the city. Nick was our guide. We rode on the top it was fun until we went on the freeway. I was scared to death. Lol. Being up high on the overpass looking down. We stopped in Little Havana for about 30 minutes. It really felt like I was in Cuba it was fun!. Until a man came on our bus selling peanuts. He stood by is yelling Peanuts very good for about 10 minutes. Do NOT purchase tours from this company!! It is a SCAM!! They over book, take your money and will not refund your money. We purchased our tickets from our hotel and paid in full. We were picked up from our hotel and instead of starting the tour, they take you to their hub and force everyone off the bus to pay a "balance" . This was not disclosed by the hotel concierge. After trying to explain to the tour guide she threatened us with not started the tour unless everyone including the "paid in full" people got off the bus. We had no choice but to get off the bus. During this time more tickets were being sold for the tour and new tourist were being allowed on the bus. Once all the new customers were allowed on, we were allowed back on the bus. The majority of the people were left standing and then the tour guide announced that anyone without a seat would have to get off the bus AGAIN and wait for the next bus which would not arrive until the next hour and a half. It's a Scam to sell more tickets. They do not disclose any details until everyone has paid and returns to the bus. We had paid in full, in advance and had a seat. We lost the seats bcz we were forced off the bus and then back on only to be told we could no longer take the tour bcz we had lost our seats. People were yelling and threatening to sue bcz they would not reimburse the tickets. Shame on Miami for allowing this type of scam artist to run their scams on trusting tourists. They use people in the Miami Beach hotels to lure you to their tours, although I don't believe those people actually work for Miami Double Decker. Either on purpose or because of lack of professionalism, they tell you they make such and such stops, only for you to find out during the tour that only some of them are honored. The tour schedule is also not as advertised; gladly I didn't make any plans for after the tour. They promise a bus ride back to your hotel. Over 20 people in my tour were stranded with no ride back to their hotels because they would not bring over a second bus to fit everyone in (by the way, I rode standing). Finally, if you don't tip them at the end (tip is a show of appreciation; if I didn't like the tour, of course I'm not going to tip), they shame you by announcing to the whole bus over microphone that you didn't tip them. Everglades was great, Miami bus tour was annoying (translated into 2 additional languages), night cruise was enjoyable. At the end of cruise, We were not picked up and returned to our hotel. Offered a city and boat ride of Miami for $40 each passenger which sounds great but their communication skills lack big time. You take a short stop in Little Havana for some 20 minutes but the tour guide tries to get to you to buy mojitos and Cuban coffee from these two locations that allow them to make pit stops at. I completely understand that but don't push it after we repeatedly say no. Then went off to the pier for the boat ride and then they basically force you to have lunch at their one selected place that they also use as a pit stop location before the boat ride. The boat ride itself is okay. Really have no way in telling if the homes actually belonged to celebrities but overall it wasn't all bad. After the boat ride everyone that was on the bus hurried over to the bus just to end up standing there for a half hour. People started calling Miami Double Decker and no one would pick up the phone. We were all left to wonder what was going on. We asked the other buses that would come and go and no one knew anything. Finally another company's bus driver told us that Double Decker typically leaves at 5:30 everyday to give passengers an hour and a half to walk around the shopping center. The staff on our bus never told us that. The guide was too interested in getting his tips as we got off the bus, the boat guide was too interested in us making sure we gave him our receipts in order to collect our tickets and the guy from the restaurant where we were forced to eat was too interested in guiding us over to the restaurant. No one bothered to let any of the passengers know that we would have an hour and a half after the boat ride to just roam free. Everyone was told when we purchased the tickets that the buses would be back in Miami Beach at 5:30 not leave for Miami Beach at 5:30. The trip would've been absolutely great had they not been protecting their own personal interests from the start. Communication would have been key here. read more

Just wanted to let people know what appalling service we had on the Everglades Tour today. The whole thing was characterized by a complete lack of clarity, communication and transparency. As with other people's reviews, I'm only giving one star because I can't give none. The bus that picked up up was late, and looked like something from the developing world, both inside and out. That took us to the main office. With the basic formalities of payment concluded, all notion of customer service seemed to vanish. We queued outside for over 25 minutes on the pavement outside, with nobody apparently in charge and communication of any meaningful information (such as where to queue, or likely departure or journey times) non-existent. It was only when we were on the bus that we were told that we would be then taken to Bayside to get on another bus to get us to our destination. So that's three buses and about two hours to get to a place we could drive to in less than 45 minutes. Pretty unimpressive, I think you'll agree. The Everglades tour itself was fairly well done. However, on the way back we were told (with about 10 minutes notice) that we were being dropped at the mall in Bayside, where another bus would arrive IN AN HOUR AND A HALF to take us back to our hotel. Considering that we were travelling with two small children, this unforgivably poor communication was the last straw. We sacked it off and got a cab. Another $35 on top of the $140-odd we already paid to waste a day of our holiday with your incompetence. In short, the whole thing felt like a hustle at just about every stage, with the lowest standards they could get away with. I suspect there's a good reason these people are impossible to find on TripAdvisor; I imagine they would be (and probably have already been) absolutely slaughtered. Avoid like the plague. read more

This is by far the best service and experience as far as busses is concerned. Our Guide Han speaks 5 languages and was extremely clear on all rules and regulations. I highly recomend you ask for Han and his bus. Our Key West experience was outstanding. We started with the trolly tour. Super informative as far as the history of the keys is concerned. Then we went to Dante's Bar and Grill. Great service with a party and good times atmosphere. Great times on our kids free weekend! We will do again with more friends and family. This Double Decker bus is worth every penny plus more. And also, pay the extra $20 per person for the VIP and you get topside front window and plugs for all accessories and phones and first in line for everything!...To top everything off...drink as much as you want. We were picked up for our airbnb and taken to the offoce to start our tour... so convenient! Our bus driver, Leo was amazing. He was funny and entertaining. He gave us some good highlights of the city, great recommendations for our stop in Little Havana and made sure we were well informed of everything going on and times. We were picked up at our apartment in Miami then brought all the way to Miami Beach where we where told we had to check in again and lost our seats because we had to check in. We asked if we could get our seats back and Nina was rude and said No wait for another bus after spending 45 mins riding over to main office.
