These guys were quick to come during rush hour to get us back into our house. Clear communication from their office and the tech who came to open the lock. Unfortunately the door handle we had couldn't be picked so they had to drill the entire thing out. We paid $100 for the service, realistically I could have walked to Home Depot and done the same thing but after getting screwd by other companies that never showed after 2 hours we were just over it and wanted to get inside the house. This location is great. The service is so quick that you can't even right a long review because you don't spend that much time in here. Ha! Small location, parking is a little hard considering the area, but just park on the edge of the street wherever you can find a spot and jump right into the store. Ouch, guys. Avoid if at all possible. I was locked out my apartment around 2 AM, and had high hopes with AAA based on past Yelp reviews. I confirmed with a locksmith from AAA to meet me in 30ish minutes; acceptable for that time of night. However, after more than an hour and many unanswered calls later, I finally called another locksmith and, fortunately, got prompt and professional service. AAA not only never showed up, but stopped picking up their business phone. I have a highly disappointing call log of 11 unanswered calls (and voicemail) between 2 and 3 AM. If you're not able to service a customer, please have the guts to answer the phone. Disappointed. Now, this may not be a pervasive issue across the company or across all hours of the day, but definitely avoid AAA during nighttime hours. read more

A month ago I was locked out of my apartment with the key stuck in the cylinder. I called AAA Miami Locksmith and they were at my door within 30 minutes. The technician was able to extract the key from the lock and open the door even though the deadbolt was slightly impeding the door from opening. Unfortunately, he was unable to fix the actual problem with the lock, but I was able to use my key! Then last week, the deadbolt again malfunctioned, and I had to call them again. Norberto came out, opened the door and was able to FIX the mechanism itself. It's a 35 yr. old, intricate lock, for God's sake! The guy is a total expert! He was at my apartment within the hour, and did an extremely professional job. I would highly recommend them. read more

Usually i will do everything in my power to avoid calling a locksmith, for some reason i don't trust most of them. Today i had to to call someone. So i called to the company that had the best reviews in my area. We started on the wrong foot, they came late.. like an hour late.. why still the 5 starts you ask? well, when they realized that they are late they apologized and offer to reduce the price for the visit. i was ok with that. by their reaction you can tell that being late was not something normal in this company. The guy that was late (Luis, i think was his name) didn't make it at all and they send someone else. But here is the real reason for the 5 star review - Norberto the technician! This guy just arrived and fixed my lock in10 min. He was very professional, kind and most important - honest! He could told me that he need to replace the entire door and i couldn't do anything about it. but instead he told me that just in case he have the missing part in his car (from another lock he fixed earlier this week) and because of that he could save me the money of changing the entire lock. I hope i will never need a locksmith again, but just in case I took his business card. If you are calling them- ask them to send you NORBERTO! he is the best! read more

Customer service was absent. Called to schedule a site visit to get quote earlier in the day with no problem. I conveyed the situation and was told they could & would take care of it. I left work early to meet the tech at the property only to be told by the evening supervisor that they could not help me due to it being late in the evening (6pm). I am annoyed that I wasted my time speaking with this company. Can I find a stand up company? This company The squatters had already been removed by the sheriff and were off the property (all of this information was explained to the rep that received my call). Everything was proper! I reached out to this company for their assistance in securing the property, however I received substandard customer service.I repeat, I EXPLAINED the situation in full detail and the services I required to the customer service rep early in the day. I kept nothing from the rep during the scheduling of service. I was annoyed that I left work early to meet their tech at the agreeded upon time but only to find no one from AAA Locksmith. I simple phone call to convey they would not accept the job or clarification to any question/ concelens would have been reasonable. I was a phone call away. I will give it one star only because they did get here really fast. However, when I called and asked for prices, they told me the travel fee (they are 2 blocks away from where I live) was $35, and then anywhere between $20-$45 for the actual unlocking service. I agreed, as the other company I called was going to charge me $90 flat, so why not save $10 or more?? The guy arrives and when he sees my door he goes: oh wow this is a high security lock. Its gonna be $150. I was like: $150?!?!? Why? That doesnt look like a high security lock to me... He asks: should I open it or leave, its $150. Since I was late for a meeting, I agreed to the price. He took a key from his pocket, put it in, tapped it LITERALLY twice and opened my door in less than 5 seconds. I reluctantly pulled cash and paid him. He left without even saying thanks, or come again! Catch is, I locked myself out again yesterday and called a different company. The guy was super nice, and arrived very fast. When he sees my lock he goes: oh wow they changed the locks in this condo! They used to be high security locks, but these are much easier and cheaper to open. It took him about a minute, but he opened and charged me $80. Bottomline: you will probably save a lot of money ($70 in my case) by calling another company where employees are honest. read more

Amazing, amazing service. I live in a residential building downtown that exclusively uses AAA Miami Locksmith for the entire building. My door frame, metal locking mechanism, and door were all experiencing various issues that precluded me from being able to lock my door. Their technician Rudy Castillo came to help me out, was quick, knowledgable, helpful, explained the process to me and taught me how to fix parts of the issue myself, and was absolutely fantastic. Called this company to request a quote this morning from the technician about replacing a car door cylinder (or lock) for my car. Did not hear back from them since calling them 3 hours ago. I am guessing that they do not really need the business (since they are full) or do not want new business, which is very sad for a business because I would expect that you would always want more business I have since called other locksmiths and they are responsive within minutes and upfront. I don't write a lot of reviews, only when I feel pretty strongly about something, so you should put a lot of weight on what I'm about to say. After two weeks of frustration trying to get a contractor to install a new deadbolt and door guard, I woke up this morning and called AAA at 8:00. I reached a professional, friendly attendant whose name I didn't get but was very professional and helpful. She promised someone would be here by 9:30. Lo and behold, the tech, Eduardo, showed up ON TIME. He was friendly, professional and took extra care to make sure the job was done properly. For example, there was a problem with the door frame/hole for the deadbolt, so he went down to his truck for a piece of equipment to make sure it worked properly, closed snugly and looked nice. Some people would have left a raggedy hole and loose door closure ... it's happened to me before. Not only did Eduardo clean up after himself, he also was the right combination of friendly and professional. Sometimes I have found as a single woman with male workmen, they cross the line of professionalism and make me feel uncomfortable. So I always appreciate someone who is a gentleman and not overly familiar. I also thought the price was fair: I paid $145 plus tax: $120 for the new deadbolt which involved drilling a hole; and door guard installation. $25 for changing the existing lock on the doorknob to match the deadbolt. I did provide the materials so I don't know how much they charge when they bring their own lock. It took about 2-2 1/2 hrs. Now, it is lunch time and I have my new lock and can go on with my day. He also took my credit card here in the apartment and is emailing me a receipt. A paperless transaction to boot! I would highly recommend AAA Locksmith in Midtown, and if I have any other needs in the future would call them first. read more
