I stopped in for dinner with coworkers while in town, based on a recommendation from our hotel staff. Glad we listened, because this place was far and wide the best meal I've had in Madison. The restaurant is small and quaint, but has both a Midwest & Southern-touch feel to it; they serve American-French fusion cuisine with a hint of creole... Lots of choices from creole-inspired appetizers to salads, steaks, seafood, and pastas. I ordered the Caesar salad and seared halibut, which were both out of this world. For the quality of the food and the level of customer service (our server Samantha was excellent), RoM is very well priced... While it wasn't cheap, this fine meal was worth every penny ($60 w/ tip for dinner). I've been to many restaurants in Madison over the few years I've been coming down here for work, and RoM is unquestionably my favorite of them all... I will definitely be back and certainly recommend you stop in if you're look for a spectacular elevated dining experience when in Madison.

Sandwiches were pretty greasy and lacked fresh/crunchy elements but we all enjoyed quite a bit as we were hungry from a hike at Clifty Falls. My turkey pita press was heavy on the chipotle mayo/melted cheese/bacon and slid apart but the portion was generous and it was as advertised. Service was amazing and I'd highly recommend to hungry tourists like us! They are working with a tight space and are doing an amazing job accommodating everyone and turning out quick and quality food.

It was a variation of a Buffalo but had so much awesome flavour. Heat and tremendous flavour these wings had it all. Also at the table we got a half rack of ribs which was quite delicious. We elected to try Diego's after checking the Yelp reviews . . . we should have driven on home. We were seated promptly - and our server was very nice, but he was handling the front of the house on his own - which meant service after being seated was poor at best. Once our food arrived - our server disappeared - never checked that everything was okay - never offered refill on drinks - nothing. I ordered a burrito with chicken and it literally had three small pieces of chicken, a boat load of onions and peppers - plus enough of the liquid it was cooked in to fill the plate! Needless to say, the flour tortilla was gummy from the liquid and inedible. The others in our group said their food was "just okay". Once someone came out from the back we got our check and left. My best advice - if you see Diego's - keep driving.
