The staff have always been extremely friendly and helpful. We've ordered the pernil, chicken, arroz moro, white rice, beans, potato salad, and maduros. Everyone that was invited to our events loved the food and asked where it was ordered from. The food tastes amazing. We've also ordered empanadas as well (chicken & beef) and those are also really good. This is now our go-to spot for any catering needs. The crust was flaky and held together well. The filling was flavorful with the pernil cooked just right. It wasn't crowded at all. We were seated outside and ordered hookah as we were waiting for the birthday girl to arrive. Her boyfriend, who made the reservation, stated we should be seating inside as it was a very hot day. The lady said we couldn't sit inside until we finished the hookah which is weird because they definitely smoke hookah inside. We finally made our way indoors and it wasn't busy at all which was nice. Shortly after, the birthday girl arrived! Our waitress took our drink orders first and we ordered the frozen passion fruit margarita pitcher along with a guava margarita pitcher on the rocks. Passion fruit was SO good! The guava could've been better, but it wasn't horrible. Now onto the food...I went with the shrimp mofongo again. It wasn't my favorite the first time but I decided to give it another chance. It definitely needs more sauce. My friends ordered the rope veja mofongo which is their fave, they're always craving it. For dessert, they brought out the cake her boyfriend purchased and played music which made the night memorable. Once it got towards 10:30pm, people started arriving and they were given hookah.
