I attended 2 events that catered from this restaurant. The food was amazing…read more I've since ordered catering from them two times. They've always come no later than 20 minutes of the time I requested. I love that when you call they have an english and spanish option on their call menu. The staff have always been extremely friendly and helpful. We've ordered the pernil, chicken, arroz moro, white rice, beans, potato salad, and maduros. Everyone that was invited to our events loved the food and asked where it was ordered from. The food tastes amazing. We've also ordered empanadas as well (chicken & beef) and those are also really good. This is now our go-to spot for any catering needs. Their pricing is great and we've had no issues with service and quality of food. I highly recommend if you're seeking authentic Dominican food.

When I get home and go to eat I notice the chicken is SO SLIMY, I start checking to see if it's cooked and none of the pieces are fully cooked they are all SLIMY and reddish purple Inside! From the outside is also looks unevenly cooked! I called back to complain and there's an option for "complaining to management" I should have know there was a reason for it, when I selected that option the call went straight into a voicemail box. How is that a proper way to handle complaints when your restaurant is still OPEN? I am calling to warn you so that you don't get other people sick. I call back and press the ordering option and no one answers my call. NEVER eating here again, they don't even keep their food covered as it sits there and there were flies. Also, the meatballs taste like frozen premade meatballs

Tried it out for a quick Monday lunch on the recommendation of a friend. Didn't even know this hole…read morein the wall was here! Ambiance: Small very casual quick eats Spanish spot. Known for their empanadas. A few parking spots out front, not really meant for dine in anyway. Wasn't busy at all on the Monday afternoon I went, but I wouldn't be surprised if most of their orders were just Uber eats or catering runs. Price Point: Around $2.50-$3.50/empanada. Overall seemed very reasonable for the quality/quantity of the food. The rest of the items seemed well priced too although I only got empanadas. Pros: Service was quick, food was made fresh, and everything tasted delicious. It was a very simple lunch run for me and it was executed perfectly. Cons: Since they weren't very busy, they weren't sure if they had the gyro meat for my gyro empanada, but were able to find it and whip it up. Could've just been an off day and they were waiting on inventory, which isn't much of a con, but it's the only thing that had potential to ruin my quick lunch. Overall: Highly recommend trying this place out! Never knew it existed and I'm certainly going back for more empanadas and other food. Great local small business that I am happy to support in my hometown.

Let me tell you, these empanadas aren't greasy at all, they're perfect, and they are absolutely stuffed with filling! If that wasn't good enough they have desserts, a hot lunch/dinner station, an abundance of drinks and like 3 different types of fries. And to top it all off the service is wonderful and quite speedy

I've visited Bonfire once before for a girls night and I recently visited again for my friends…read moresurprise birthday dinner! The reservation was for Friday at 8pm for around 16 people. It wasn't crowded at all. We were seated outside and ordered hookah as we were waiting for the birthday girl to arrive. Her boyfriend, who made the reservation, stated we should be seating inside as it was a very hot day. The lady said we couldn't sit inside until we finished the hookah which is weird because they definitely smoke hookah inside. We finally made our way indoors and it wasn't busy at all which was nice. Shortly after, the birthday girl arrived! Our waitress took our drink orders first and we ordered the frozen passion fruit margarita pitcher along with a guava margarita pitcher on the rocks. Passion fruit was SO good! The guava could've been better, but it wasn't horrible. Now onto the food...I went with the shrimp mofongo again. It wasn't my favorite the first time but I decided to give it another chance. It definitely needs more sauce. My friends ordered the rope veja mofongo which is their fave, they're always craving it. For dessert, they brought out the cake her boyfriend purchased and played music which made the night memorable. Once it got towards 10:30pm, people started arriving and they were given hookah. I guess they don't allow hookah indoors earlier than 10:30pm? It is way too hot to be outside smoking hookah so we will keep that in mind for next time. The dance floor area opened up and the music started playing. It is a vibe at night but we decided to leave and head to another spot. All in all it was a great night!
