The guacamole didn't taste fresh at all and the chicken in the flautas had no flavor. For dinner, I had the enchiladas suizas. The chicken was the same chicken used in the flautas aka flavorless and the tomatillo "salsa" did not taste like salsa at all. It actually tasted more like the "avocado mousse" that the flautas were drenched in. My husband had the carnitas michoacan and he said they were just okay/super greasy/wouldn't get them again. Both our meals were supposed to come with rice and beans, but they only bought one side for us to share. When I looked around the restaurant, it seemed like they only bring one side per table regardless of party size. This to me is a rip off especially since this place is pricey. My 2 year old was also with us and we got him chicken fingers and fries from their very limited kids options. When I asked if he can have rice and beans instead of fries, they said no. You're a Mexican restaurant - maybe put a taco option with rice and beans on the kids menu. For dessert, we got tres leches- it was fine. The only other things ordered were a cocktail and a beer. We waited SOOOO long to get the bill and even longer for someone to come back to take our payment. With tip included- our total was about $180. That is very steep for the quality and quantity of food. Sadly, I don't think we will return.

The tacos are authentic, simple, no frills, and soooo good. Also, can't beat the price at 4 tacos for $12. The tacos might look small but they pack in the meats! And the meats have been melding in a cauldron the whole day. Im full by my 4th taco but always stretch it to 5 tacos bc i want one more. My husband can eat 8 to 10. The tacos are topped off with onions and cilantro (you can get them without). Tacos also come with these cambray onions that have been hanging out in the cauldron with the meats all day -- The best accompaniment to the tacos. I get excited for those cambray onions. They also give you a little baggie of radish and limes, plus green sauce and red sauce. The green sauce is mild spicy and the red sauce is very spicy. We've been here about 20 times just this year. In the beginning we used to get a variety of tacos, which were all really good (but sometimes the beef and chicken tacos were a little dry), but now we only get the al pastors and the carnitas -- Tip: ask for a mix of pork in the carnitas -- makes it even better! Great to pick up a huge order if you're doing a potluck or hosting, too. We've also eaten at their old location and this new location (they relocated to a larger spot). There's plenty of seating and they keep everything clean -- please note that this is not a fancy restaurant! Parking situation is not the greatest, though, but you'll eventually find street parking. Service is always good and quick. Even if there's a huge line, it goes by fairly quick.

You get 4 tacos for $11. I tried the carnitas, 2 al pastor, and steak. The steak was a bit dry and unseasoned - but the carnitas and al Astor were amazing. I loved they served it with braised onions. It also comes with limes, radish, and salsa. Will definitely be back for carnitas and al pastor!

El chavo del ocho fretted me at the door which really caught me off guard. Quesabirria 8.1/10 - The quesadilla was insightful, the oaxaca was inquisitive, the meat, bulbaric. I really appreciated the stretch quality of this cheese and oaxaca combination, a pairing to remember for the ages. The tortilla.l, crispy yet sogggy yes indeed. I couldn't begin to fathom how enriching it all was when it came together in a collision. I was extremely heartbroken however when I discovered there were no green ORR red sauces to accompany my food. I'm not mad, i'm just disappointed... Chilaquiles 7.6/10 - First things first, I was thrown off by the layering of chicken on top, all the sauce on the bottom, and beans served separately??? The accumulation of saucy liquid in the bottom resulted in confusion, and moistness in my crispies. This lowkey reminded me of a chipotle bowl where I have to mix everything myself, but instead of rice it was chips :( I would also like to point out the taste of some of the chips resembling an oven like flavor, which made me a little uncomfortable and reminded me of a story from my childhood, hansel and gretel a true american classic. when I eventually hit rock bottom I was met with a pretty decent salsa flavor, but i also chocked on some weird pepper watchamacallit. Some bites were good, some bites were really good, the avocado was good, the chicken was nice. But some bites were just wrong, and i don't know why. Will i ever know why? why wont she call me back.

When we arrived the restaurant wasn't too busy, but since we made reservation we got a table right away. Inside of the restaurant looked nice, several tables and a full service bar. The menu had a good mix of Mexican and Peruvian dishes. I started with the mango butterfly lemonade that was such a tasty drink. For appetizer we got the Flautists, a dish full of cheese and guacamole, but the shells so hard from deep fry. For entree I got the steak burrito. It was huge, filled with decent steak, lots of rice and other ingredients. We also had ceviche de mariscos, which was full of semi steamed seafood items. The chicken quesadilla was actually good. The service was fine overall. Staff members checked on us time to time. The dishes came out in short intervals. Overall it seemed like a okay dining spot to me.

Couldn't really enjoy much of the dish. I don't eat raw food. But really big portion. People who like ceviche will enjoy it. Lots FIFA decoration. It's not a big restaurant. But it's a good size for locals.
