Muy bien! Finally went to try the new Mexican restaurant in town. We were pleasantly surprised with the service, food, and atmosphere. It seemed like a team effort with service from drinks, to order, to receiving our food, and checking in with us. Enrique and Andres were extremely helpful. All the staff wears name tags. Love that. No wait to be seated on a Friday night at 6:45. I ordered shredded chicken enchiladas verdes (no queso sauce on this option - which I prefer). Everything was very fresh tasting and I could not believe how quickly the food came out! Chips and Salsa - has to be one of the best tasting salsas in the twin cities. I'm picky too. It has a nice kick of flavor/heat. They have a bunch of TVs around the restaurant and a very cool bar. The chairs are roomy and modern looking. I love the colorful decor.

My wife and I went to try this new restaurant since we were craving Mexican food. We were lucky enough to be waited on by Isabel, and she was nice, polite, and greeted us with a smile! The chips and salsa were great, but we needed a bit more heat, so Isabel the other server brought us a spicier salsa to try. Even though it wasn't so delicious on its own, mixing it with the normal salsa turned out to be perfect! I had the strawberry margarita, and my wife had the Bahamas Mama. Both drinks were great! We did not have any appetizer because the chips and the salsa were more than enough as a starter. For my meal, I had the Pollo Chipotle, and it was just amazing--so good that I already wanted another one right away! My wife had the Hermelindo Especial, and she enjoyed hers as well. In general, we had a fantastic time at the new restaurant, the food was excellent, the ambiance was pleasant, and everyone was extremely friendly. The location couldn't be more perfect! One minor issue was that there is no Wi-Fi at the restaurant, which made it a bit hard to get a good signal on our phones, but that won't stop us from returning to try more of what they have to offer on their menu. Oh, and I almost forgot to include Dalia! She wasn't our waitress, but she was very nice and a joy to work with, just like Isabel. We can't wait to return!

I had the fajitas and my wife had the chicken molay enchiladas. The enchiladas could've be warmer, but the fajitas were really good.

Skip the queso. It's so watered down it does not stay on a chip. Very bland also. The meals were average. Probably won't return.

Pleasantly surprised by this new restaurant. Better than average food and excellent specialty margueritas. We'll come back

Great happy hour. Unassuming exterior - the inside is amazing - hence hidden gem. My only complaint is the music inside - way too loud, way too annoying. But the back patio is perfect.

Lucky me, I came here with a friend during Restaurant Week who was into splitting plates, so we…read morewere able to sample a variety of food and drinks. For appetizers we chose Elote corn and Queso Fondido. The corn was outstanding. I expected the cheese to be more textured with bits of chorizo, but instead it was creamy, almost béchamel-like, and maybe the chorizo was just in the spicy accompanying sauce? I wasn't a huge fan but my friend was. Then came the entrees. Wow! Beef short rib was the highlight of the meal for me, melt-in-your-mouth tender and served with a super tasty sauce and some greens to lighten the dish. Puerto adobado was an enormous pork shank served with rice, beans, and pickled vegetables, also very tasty. Portions were generous. My friend and I both had to get to-go boxes for our leftovers. We tried the two desserts offered: churros and a cheesecake with berry sauce. I'm generally not a cheesecake fan, but warmed up to this one because of its light texture, almost soufflé-like, and the super-flavorful berry sauce. Churros were hot and crispy, accompanied by hot drinking chocolate for dipping, and more thick, creamy dulce de leche than we could possibly eat. I'm not a big drinker, so I appreciated that they have a fun selection of non-alcoholic cocktails. I had one that came rimmed with Tajin and containing a pineapple popsicle that melted and became part of the drink. Fruity, fun, a little spicy, and moderately priced. Besides the delicious food--at reasonable prices, especially considering the size of the portions, we were impressed by the friendly, helpful staff. The atmosphere is light and pleasant with plenty of windows, interesting art, and comfy seating. You'd have to think hard to picture the space in its original form as a Hardee's...but then again, the owners built their reputation for great food starting in a gas station. The restaurant is easy to get to, with ample parking.

I even made a point to say this to the lady before ordering my burrito. I am not going to lie...I would not go back to this particular location. There was no employees when I walked into the restaurant during a normal lunch time. After a few minutes, they noticed I was out front and someone came out to help me. I believe that she was new, because she tried and failed the first time she tried to make the tortilla. The other employee asked if she would like help, so maybe she was new, but she declined, threw it away, and tried again. Normally they only have to use the press machine once, but she pressed down on it so many times that she she completely ruined the normal fluffy almost pancake-like quality that I loved about it so much. There was no way for me to know until I bit into the burrito so I didn't ask her to remake it because I didn't want to waste food, but I wish that I would have. Left me completely disappointed and dissatisfied.
