I called in an order of Carne Asada for the price of $11.99 - When I got there, I was charged $12.99 plus taxes that according to them it added up to almost $17.00!!! I told the young lady I would give a review about this, but she didn't care and asked me to do it. I was not given a receipt, so I just left before making a seen. The meat was small but fairly good ... kind of tough, and the rest of the food was ok. Not worth almost $20 for sure! It was the principal of stealing money from customers that made it BAD for me. Excellent food, great service, laid back atmosphere- my favorite kind of place. (Only thing I'm not happy about is how long it took me to try it out!!) The good is always delicious. It's the staff I have issues with. I called in my order and was very firm on no eggs in my order. My tacos are wrapped up nice like always. I get to work and ALL of my tacos have eggs. Called back only to have the staff member blame me said it was my fault but to please me would have me a credit on my next taco order when SHE WAS WORKING. That I wouldn't get the credit unless she was available since it wasn't their fault. I clearly told her in english and Spanish NO EGGS. Great place for authentic Mexican food! It's a very casual restaurant, and it gets very busy. I came here on a Sunday around lunch, and it was very packed. It has its own private lot with plenty of parking. Some of the tacos here are one of the larger sizes I've seen, and their corn tortilla is definitely one of the best corn tortillas I've ever had. The quality is so good, and the size of the corn tortilla is actually quite larger than what I'm used to. Not that I'm complaining about that! When you dine in, you get chips and salsa also. Be aware that the salsa is very spicy! It was delicious, and I can tell it was made in-house. I tried the Al pastor and barbacoa tacos. I highly recommend. The Al pastor was marinated very well and so delicious. The barbacoa actually felt pretty lean when I ate it, so I didn't feel heavy or disgusting after. Service was also fantastic. Also, the price point for the tacos here is so affordable and reasonable! Highly recommend for those looking for an authentic Mexican restaurant in the area. read more

This is my favorite Mexican food restaurant in Baytown. The food is fresh and tastes amazing. They have great prices too! They did recently raise the prices of menu items. It's understandable with inflation and I can accept that. I would recommend the Chimichanga if that's something you enjoy. They have one of the best around and the queso that it's topped with is just as good as any restaurant. You can ask for fajita chicken or shredded and it's the same price. I prefer the fajita chicken. The fajita ranchers plate is my other go-to. If you want to eat for a low price try the torta. They load them up with meat and it's something like $5.50. It was around $4 before the price was raised. They have unique menu items too if you want to try something different. On Friday and Saturday nights, they have karaoke. It can get loud, but the atmosphere is enjoyable. read more

Passing through Baytown and tried this place. We ordered supreme nachos with beef. We were pleasantly surprised to see a pile of chips sitting in queso and covered in beans and ground beef. The beef was like what I would cook at home. It wasn't spicy and it didn't have chili powder in it. I was so happy because I don't really like "taco meat". It came with a nice amount of guacamole and sour cream. There are also 3 types of sauces. I really liked the green sauce but it was too spicy for my husband. The service was great and the place was clean. They had Splenda for my tea. I appreciate that. The only reason I didn't give 5 star: the chips are really thick, which are not my preference and they did not have fountain sodas. Only cans. read more

From a blue collar point of view, this place makes one feel that every dollar earned was spent honest here. Food is hearty and cheap. Mexican or Tex Mex you got it here. They have daily specials at 5.99. Why cook? It's cheaper to eat here. If you're looking for a beautiful environment to eat, well, its working class. The Carne guisada is delicious. Meat portions are a good size and you will not leave hungry. Just a belly with a smile. Now it's does get real festive on Friday and Saturday evenings with a Dj and Latin music, so parking will be limited. Wait staff is in both English and Spanish, don't worry about that. I eat there several times a week. Like I said, it's reasonable and after working a 12 hour shift its mexican home cooking where you don't have to wash dishes. read more

Great everything,honestly,all the food there makes my mouth water and on some days they have karaoke night and some people singing makes me happy and laugh,the seafood there is delicious,they have perfect sized oysters and the way they serve them is nice,they also serve wings and the way they put shredded lettuce and veggies on the side kinda makes it look authentic,the only downside is that i struggle to dip the wings in ranch because the little bowl is too big and the ranch package is too little!,the wings are sometimes really small and annoys me a little but this restaurant deserves more than 5 stars,the service there is nice,mostly woman but they are patient and give you all the time you need to order. At the register there is a little compartment that is filled with candy and i think it is nifty and cool,along with the little dispensers by the entrance. 10 out of 10 would recommend to my friends read more
