As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the owner who offered a free mimosa for Mother's Day although I couldn't drink the mimosa because I'm expecting he made me an orange juice which was great. The place was beautiful clean. Aguas Fresca's were great. And as a Mexican woman, I am very hard to impress when it comes to Mexican food, but I have to say that the salsa were spicy if you ask for the extra spicy ones, but everything had an amazing flavor fresh and I had never tried the shrimp before I had been wanting to try Them out because I saw them on TikTok and I must say we were so satisfied we were just there to Golf at the course down the street but when I say we will be back just for the restaurant I mean we will be back. It is about a 30 to 45 minute drive but we were willing to make the drive this place is outstanding! read more

I visited for a business lunch and tried the burritos, tacos, and elote. The flavors were very good and definitely the highlight of the experience. Unfortunately, the service did not match the quality of the food. It took quite a while to get water refills and even longer to receive our bill after we had finished eating. We would return for the food, as the flavors were impressive, but we hope to see improvement in the service next time. read more

We have stopped here a few times when going through Houston. Food is always good and the service is great.

Goodness - this place was AMAZING! Had tacos and also magi mahi ceviche. LOVED it. Highly recommended

Made a pit stop in Mont Bilveu, TX on our way to Diamondhead, MS for TG. Saw Chiludas and read their great reviews! So, we checked it out and it was delicious. Hope to stop in again on our way back. Service from Hadley was great, she checked on us often and was friendly and efficient. The restaurant was modern, neat, clean and bright. read more

This food lacked flavor, was over priced and portion sizes were small. The bartender although she was super nice touch 1000 things including her sweat while making drinks. She handled money and never washed her hands. We spent $60 and I'm very disappointed. The reviews were good so I'm not sure why this happened. read more

I ordered the ordinary, they were soaked in grease. Tiny & nothing like the photos. The meat looked very dry. Sent them back without tasting. The eye eats first. To add insult to injury the waitress rounded the check up. My total was 11.65 & she kept the change. WTH read more

Delicious, delicious, DELICIOUS!! Drinks are fabulous, salsa is good without being too spicy... but the STREET TACOS! Yum. Eat here tomorrow, without delay. You won't regret it! read more

Everything I've tasted from the menu is delicious, and I've tried several items. Quick and kind service. Very clean.

Food was GREAT!!! Only minus is the price on the tacos $4.59 per small Taco, but GREAT tasting Will go back

Highly recommended. The food is so good. That's really all I need to write. However, my wife and I met this individual, if I remember correctly, his name is Rico, one of the owners, and he is a genuinely passionate guy when it comes to this food. His energy and dedication are one of the main reasons I recommend this place because this guy busts his butt and he does it with a smile to make sure you're happy. Back to the food. He explained to us that nothing is frozen here and everything tastes fresh because of it. The tacos and ingredients used are savory. From the Birria to tripas to chorizo, these tacos are very good. Not to mention the numerous sauces they offer. Aguachiles are awesome. Shrimp are a good size and just the right amount of pica. The restaurant itself is Very clean. I like the decor, it's very bright and lit up very well. Check this place out. You can't go wrong picking this place for a date night or loading the kids down with tacos. read more

We had the pleasure of dining here for the first time, and from start to finish, the experience was incredible. What truly stood out was the exceptional service. Both our server and the manager went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and informed. They took the time to explain the menu in detail and even shared their personal recommendations, which were spot-on. The homemade chips were outstanding--perfectly crispy and fresh--and the variety of salsas available was impressive. Each one had a unique flavor profile, making it hard to choose a favorite. The options on the menu were plentiful, catering to different tastes and preferences, which made exploring the offerings even more enjoyable. Definitely a good change from the same old same old as I've been living here for 20+years. A good change is good. Lots of space to sit with big booths. While the food was undeniably excellent, it's the warm and attentive service that makes this place special. Whether you're a first-time guest or a regular, the team ensures you feel right at home. don't just take my word for it--come experience it for yourself. You won't be disappointed! read more

Uncommonly good authentic Mexican food in the most unlikely of places. This place has it going on.....food and service are outstanding!

Finally, I made it over to Chiludos for lunch. I was not expecting it to be a full service restaurant with a bar. It is located in a strip center, and parking can be scarce. We were greeted at the door and were told to sit anywhere. I already had an idea of what I wanted, so it didn't take long to glance over the menu. So everything is centered around. Guess what Mexican Street tacos? lol. You may get these individually or from what I see on the menu in three's for only seafood tacos, i.e., shrimp/fish tacos. I decided on the trinity of pastor, chicken, and beef skirt steak (fajita). I opted for the volcano style on the chicken taco, which consists of a crispier maiz tortilla with melted oaxaca cheese. I added frijoles and a side of guacamole to the plate. I must also mention that you do get chips and salsa to start, and you are portioned with 2 red salsas and a green one. The 2 red ones are tame, and the green one is hot. The taco flavor was good. However, they were a bit on the dry side. The tacos are garnished with onions and cilantro, and there is one lime to squeeze on. The meal was decent, and the service was a bit strange. I have never been asked to pay the bill when the food is delivered to the table and I guess I was expected to eat my beans with my hands because no spoon was presented so I had to ask for one. I did see the many different taps available, and I did see my favorite Mexican beer Pacifico available. The full bar offers many different margaritas available as well as some signature drinks. They were all a bit steep in price. In the future, we'll probably return to the bar and try some more tacos with some adult drinks! read more

Chiludos recently opened and we were excited to have some street food closer to home! Staff were friendly and our waiter was very attentive. We came around 7pm and ordered horchata and elotes to start; server came back and said they were out of horchata. We ordered 4 tacos, suadero, bistec, ribeye, and carnita. Served came back again to tell us they were out and so we ended up having to change part of our order again. The tacos were on the smaller side, but it is street tacos, so would need 2-3 to fill you up. Other than that, glad to have something like this in Mont Belvieu! read more

We were heading home from Houston and needed lunch, so I turned to Yelp and it did not steer me wrong! We walked into a bright, trendy, modern and clean restaurant. We waited a couple of minutes to be seated, and then a few more to get menus, and a few more to order drinks, but they were obviously busy during the lunch rush so it was understandable. We ordered guacamole for the table and I had a jalapeño cucumber margarita. The guacamole was fresh and flavorful, bonus points for presentation in the molcajete, and the multicolored chips were a nice touch. My margarita was perfect - fresh juices and just the right kick. It was Tuesday, so I opted for the daily special taco sampler. It was beautifully plated on a long board, and they were absolutely delicious. The beans and rice were actually tasty and not just an afterthought. My husband opted for a burrito. He wasn't expecting it to be handheld, but it was excellent. Both the tacos and burrito were made with homemade tortillas, which makes such a difference. If this place was closer to home, we would absolutely be regulars! read more

The service is typically very good, the first time we visited we sat in Keenan's section and he was fast, attentive, and was able to answer all questions. He was very kind and took time to converse even though the restaurant was starting to become more full. The second time we were in Arturo's section and he also took good care of us, and even let us know about kids meals which is great for anyone with little kids (A street taco with rice, beans, and a drink). The food is made fresh and they use quality ingredients which makes the dining much more unique than other Mexican food restaurants in the area. It is more expensive than a regular hole in the wall, but it is worth every cent! The dining room is well lit, and gives very modern yet relaxing vibes. They have a big wall which is made of wood cubes that line the walls with different depth and a big sign that says Chiludos surrounded by ivy which gives it a nice vibe. read more

I went for lunch today and ordered a fideo with chicken flautas. I was very disappointed. The chicken in the flautas were over cooked. I couldn't even eat the chicken it was so hard. Then I showed the waiter the chicken was over cooked and she didn't try to offer something else. I then asked her to please put my fideo soup in a container but she brought me the container. I didn't want to spill it on myself so I asked if she could take it to the back and place it in a container. She then said she would but starting helping another customer and left me to do it myself. Very disappointed I was exciting about trying this new place but never going back due to lack of service and food. read more

Can't complain about much here! The complimentary chips seemed fresh and were thick with good flavor. They initially served us just 3 salsas but brought out their entire selection upon request. The flautas were good, had lots of flavor with all the toppings. The quesabirrias (not pictured) were soooo good - a little messy but so much flavor! The piña marg was pretty sweet, not much of a tequila taste 6/10. The pepito was better in my opinion, quite spicy yet refreshing with the cucumber 8/10. We also tried the house marg (not pictured) it was a 10/10, nice and tart! Overall I really enjoyed this place, would've given it 5 stars if they had queso! read more

We visited Chiludos on a Saturday morning and were truly impressed by both the food and service. Our waitress, Bree, attended to us right away, and our drinks and meals arrived in record time. I was very impressed! We ordered the chilaquiles since we arrived early for brunch, and the flavors were outstanding. The margaritas were fantastic, the agua frescas refreshing, and the tacos delicious--everything was exceptional! Not only did Bree check on us, but it was also a nice touch that Sam, the manager, stopped by to share information about upcoming specials. We will certainly return to this wonderful spot many times. read more

It would be more of a 2.5 the place is authentic Mexican food just with no flavor. I order a suadero taco and it was shredded and soaked, meaning they have it sitting in a container l. I also has the huevos rancheros and the sauce was good but not spicy at all not even a little bit, the beans had no flavor or the potatoes, they could have at least put some salt on them. I got the horchata and they don't give you straws when they know you have to mix the water so the cinnamon doesn't sets at the bottom. Like I said the food is authentic Mexican but the chef has no flavor or seasoning. I don't think I'm coming back. Nice place tho. read more

I'm from Guadalajara and I've been here for 27 years. I've had a really hard time finding an authentic Mexican restaurant and man was I happy to find this spot. I had Carne en su Jugo and I was skeptical about ordering it because I know what it's suppose to taste like & didn't want to be disappointed. But this was so delicious and made me feel like I was back home. My husband ordered tacos de tripa, taco poblano and a Bistec Huarache and they went hard. Buzzin. The aguas fees as were natural and was the cherry on top. The Chef Ernesto, ate this thing and left no crumbs. 11/10 recommend. read more
