chicken wings in a basket
Rex C.

This is one of those parts that delivers and you probably wouldn't even know to stop in because it's in some random parking lot but let me Telya I was thoroughly impressed and they almost made five stars but I'll tell you below why they became four stars. Food: the street tacos were very tasty and full of flavor. The hot sauces they came out with the tacos were very good as well. I douse the meat in hot sauce and it was very tasty flavorful taco. This is where they get the four stars. The wings were absolutely amazing. They were fried to perfection and had some amazing taste to them as well but here is the kicker and why they get four stars. The wings were very low quality checking. I mean probably some of the lowest quality chicken I've ever tried. Attention management or owners do you guys a favor and order some quality chicken because the chicken you guys serve that day was low quality. I hope you all take this into consideration. Other than that I'll give them a solid four stars. Customer service: the customer service is pretty good. Everyone was friendly and the price was just right. Next time I'm in the area I will definitely stop in and give them another try. You guys really need to step up on the quality of your chicken though.

Chilaquiles

Best Chilaquiles!! Great people always asking if you need anything! The tacos are so delicious they have alot of flavor. If you are in Baytown this place is a must! You won't regret it! They sale from breakfast plates to saadas and tacos and nachos and papa asada etc etc! The best part is that its really cheap and nice! I would be back soon!

Al pastor street tacos with red and green salsa

Street tacos, rice and charro beans are my go-to here. They are so delicious customer service is great, and they are always so nice. It gets busy for lunch, so get there early if u don't have time to wait.

Veggie Taco

Pronounced "Tie-heen" this is one of Baytown's little gems. Here is the rundown: 1) Quaint but do not be deterred by the look. Lovely and clean inside. 2) Unexpected variety from hamburgers to stuffed potatoes. 3) Great value! You will leave with a full tummy and your wallet won't be deflated as a result. I ordered the street tacos with bistec and they were flavorful and filling when paired with my charro beans(equally flavorful) and chips y queso. I would not order the chips and queso again because the chips had an overpowering corn flavor and the cheese was soupy. My companions opted for the infamous potato, veggie tacos, and quesadillas. Everyone left satisfied with their food. I will definitely be returning that shrimp stuffed potato I had been eyeing and I would recommend giving it a go.

Hawaiiana Torta and Charro beans.

My favorite place when im craving a Torta. There are plenty of Mexican restaurants in the area but Tajin has eleven versions for Tortas. The price is a little bit more but worth the money. The Hawaiiana is my favorite as of now but i plan on trying the other10 Tortas later. The Japanese version is next on my list. The Hawaiiana Torta comes fully loaded with grilled chicken, pinto bean spread, lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, avacado, jalepenos, chipotle sauce, ham, and grilled pineapple.I usually order the charro beans for the side and a large Jamaica hibiscus drink.Tajin is definetly worth trying.

I got the burrito and it wasn't the best. Idk if it was the rice, the tortilla or the meat but it wasn't all that. I was very hungry so I finished it but it's not a place I'll come back and try for a while. It's very modern inside so it's a nice setting but the burritos are not their specialty.

Beef street tacos

I ordered 5 tacos and a Jamaica drink. The tacos were soggy. (Street tacos, corn) The lime they gave me was soggy too so it was difficult to squeeze because nothing came out. The salsa was not that spicy (red and green) Although, the drink was good. Not bad area and probably will most likely go back. Fair flavor! :)

Pastor street tacos, chorizo and queso street tacos and charro beans.

I eat here once and sometimes twice a day. I stop in every morning for a chorizo and potato taco for breakfast. Then for dinner I usually get the street tacos. These are some of the best tacos I've ever had. The ingredients are fresh and the staff is friendly! I highly recommend Tajin!

Thank God my son only eats the inside of his tacos or I wouldn't have seen the roach inside his second taco. Never going back!

I had a burrito and it was greasy. Good but greasy. It didn't used to be this way. I hope they can get better like they used to be.

Carnitas Y Barbacoa Los Compadres - Barbacoa taco

Carnitas Y Barbacoa Los Compadres

This is a small but very efficient panaderia, carneceria, taqueria. Been wanting to check it out…read morefor some good barbacoa for quite some time and finally made it out on a busy Sunday morning. Located right in the middle of a neighborhood in a very small strip center. Parking is scarce. You walk in get in line and place your order for the barbacoa. They give you a number and they are pretty quick to get it. I really didn't know how things flowed here so I took my time and got some pan dulce which you are able to pick out yourself and put it on a pan with tongs. There are a ton of selections which included Conchas, pineapple upside cake, and cream cheese strawberry filled pastries. I asked about what came with the barbacoa and was surprised that only a half container of red salsa comes with it. Corn tortillas and cilantro/onion were extra?? Oh well lol. I didn't get a chance to glance the menu but did see beef tongue (lengua) and tripas were visibly being packed for others. Said and done paid $14.99 a pound for barbacoa and $36 for 3 bag fulls of pan dulce and extra hot green salsa and cilantro/onion. My only gripes were that the barbacoa was a bit greasy and the typical included things like tortillas and onion/cilantro were not included in the price. Overall one of the better places in town to get some fresh barbacoa and Mexican pastries! Definitely will be back!

First time here. Casual ambiance, great service and variety as well as good authentic Mexican food…read more They serve breakfast and lunch plates too. I Ordered the barbacoa taco and it was delicious. Not fatty or greasy at all. The hot salsa was delicious. I also had the chicharrón and egg taco but I didn't care for it. They have a great variety of items to choose from as well as baked Mexican sweet breads and a meat market all in one establishment. I would come here again. They only have about 3-4 tables where you can dine. You order at the counter and they bring your food out. They have cold drinks and hot coffee. If you're in a hurry and want something quick, this is the place.

We came looking for authentic Mexican barbacoa at Frida Farm Campestre, but due to some regulations…read morethey're currently not serving food at the farm. Instead, the food is sold just around the corner at Birrieria & Micheladas and it was absolutely worth it. The lamb barbacoa was very delicious, tasty, and perfectly moist. The goat birria tacos were also amazing and their fresh drinks are huge. After eating, we went back to the farm for a tour, which made the whole experience even better. Visiting both locations was totally worth it and made for a great, unique outing.

Once drinks finally came out, my husband had to wait a few more for his beer. The decoration was nice, the women's dresses and head bands were beautiful. Once we ordered, the food came to our table one late at a time, with a few minutes in between. Again we had to ask husband's plate because it still hadn't arrived. My son ordered a large sweet tea. At one point, when he placed the glass back on the table it broke from a corner and leaked all over him. We quickly did our best to clean up. The bus boy asked if we were the ones who broke it. (As if it were intentional) another asked if my son had extra clothes in the car... his shirt and pants were soaked. No consolation or solution. We asked for another drink. At the end they charged us for two drinks, even the one that broke and leaked all over him. They could have at least offered to send him home with tea to go. When I asked the waitress about the extra drink, she looked at me and didn't say anything. This time around the food was not as amazing as I first recalled. Not going back

Service wasn't good! When we went in, nobody welcomed you in or even assisted you in sitting.. we were lost and just decided to wave hands to a guy who I believe was the owner and moved our shoulder Ana hands like "where?" He pointed to spots like "anywhere!" Ok, let's just sit down and see if food makes up the rudeness. I was WRONG!! When we sat down, a lady who never made eye contact seem very agitated and in a hurry to not even slow down and listen to our order!!! Her eyes and body kept moving away while we were placing an order, rude!!! I was looking around the place and it seems like it has been here for quite a while so I wanted to see if the food was the reason because definitely the customer service??! WASN'T IT! Food arrived and the caldo de mariscos that my husband order was the size of a dish for a child!!! Lacked flavor!! And had ramen noodle size shrimps!!! Ridiculous!!! And big chunks of potato!!! I ordered the wrapped bacon shrimp plate and it's NOT the way it's originally made!! It only had jalapeño and shrimp and reheat/refried bacon!!! It was old and you could taste and see it!!NEVER AGAIN!!! Service!! And food go hand in hand and it was horrible!!! The ambience was just bland, no good enjoyable feeling at all!! Advice to clean the window separating the tables!! Come on it doesn't take that long!!! And the chairs too!!! Owner you should be ashamed because it shows you don't take pride in your business at all!!! Mariscos is very delicate and you serving people food that's not up to the standards it should be!?? Is dangerous and this place definitely doesn't pass food and hygiene
