I also got a build your own taco with the ranch seasoned shell and the chicken ( I wasn't a huge fan of the chickens texture). The price is realtivley cheap and I like how this location on the weekend has specials that cater to the crowd of the banks like 2 for 20$ margarita flights. Unfortunately, our experience has been consistently disappointing. The restaurant is often not very clean, and getting service at the bar or placing a to-go order seems nearly impossible. Last night was our second attempt, and it will definitely be our last. We sat there for approximately 8 minutes while employees repeatedly walked past us. Not once did anyone acknowledge us, say hello, or even let us know that someone would be with us shortly. We eventually got up and walked out. Customer service should be the bare minimum. We understand that restaurants get busy, but completely ignoring customers who are sitting there waiting is unacceptable. We've enjoyed Condado at other locations, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Unfortunately, this location needs a serious improvement in customer service, cleanliness, and basic acknowledgment of its customers. We won't be returning to this location.

When our food was brought out the cheese dip (fundido) was cold and not melted, the margarita which I did drink and glass and had a couple bites of the quesadilla. My husband did eat his burrito and drank his margarita but my stomach started feeling funny so I didn't eat or drink anymore. My husband finished the margaritas since I didn't want anymore the way I was feeling. When we left we got in the car and just as quickly I got out and threw up in the parking lot. I also LOVE the setup here. You pay first, get your food second, and everything just seems to run smoothly. No unnecessary waiting around trying to figure out what's going on. My wife and I usually rotate between the pancakes, the hash, the Northstar Burger, or the potato hash. Honestly, you really can't go wrong with any of them. The food is always fresh, portions are good, and everything comes out looking like somebody actually cared about what they put on the plate. We probably go once or twice a week, especially for brunch. At this point, Northstar is basically family. And if you're like us and pretty picky about where you eat, this is definitely one that gets the stamp of approval. Great food, good atmosphere, and consistently solid service.
