Soft serve strawberry margarita
Angela F.

Street tacos were delicious I had chicken and steak. I mainly went to try the soft serve margarita. I had strawberry it was delicious but not worth $16.99 for one drink. Service was okay I felt like they were trying to upsell us on everything and trying to get us to buy more alcohol. FYI the tip was already added to our bill and they didn't say anything about that it was. If my friend didn't look at her bill we all would have double tipped the waiter. The tip That was already added was 20%.

We came here for a fun night of tacos and margaritas, and let me tell you, it was definitely a more than we bargained for kind of a fun tacos and margs night! The whole place is over the top in a great way. I loved the decor and ambiance, the ample seating, and the friendly staff. We enjoyed our over the top margaritas and our street tacos, and I would recommend them both to everyone! However, the menu is huge and a little overwhelming. You will definitely be thumbing through page after page looking for something to eat or drink. I also found the dishes to be quite expensive. Also, the whole restaurant is quite loud, so if you're looking to have an exciting night out with friends, this place is definitely for you! I wouldn't not recommend coming here if you're looking for a quiet date night. Overall, I enjoyed my experience here! I recommend going to get a fancy marg! You will not be disappointed.

We brought our kids to experience the fun atmosphere. It was a little loud for them, but they had a great time dancing and admiring all the sparklers on drinks, etc My chicken fajitas were excellent and my husband loved his steak quesadilla. My kids had the grilled cheese and chicken tenders and both liked their food. This was a fun place for an evening out, but my kids got tired of the loud drums. There was a large party so service was a little wonky - we got half of our food and had to wait a while for the other half of the entrees. I'll go again but may choose lunch or a weekday night when it is less likely to have several birthday parties and thus so many drum performances.

I stopped by for dinner based on proximity to my hotel and was very happy with chips + salsa and quesabirria tacos. Full disclosure they're not THE BEST quesabirria I've ever had but they hit the spot! The vibes are fun and energetic, which could be a negative for some based on how loud it can get. The service was friendly and fast, and overall was a good time.

I must say I wasn't expecting this atmosphere but we absolutely loved it. The music, the service, the food was all top notch. Love this place!

If you want to go on an intimate date, don't come here. It's very loud and lively with the music and parties going on. We were greeted with chips and salsa. You can't go wrong with that. I ordered the street taco dinner with chicken and that was pretty good! The tortilla was warm and charred. Prices were reasonable. Plenty of free parking.

Loved everything from start to finish. We were invited by friends to celebrate a birthday and I was a bit intimidated by the prices and other reviews. It seemed more like a place to drink than a place to eat but I was pleasantly wrong. The horchata margarita came out with a flame which was fun and unexpected! It tasted great and I had a good buzz. We split the quesa-birria pizza and was so glad we did! I love birria and would order it again from Mi Cozumel. I also ordered a side of rice and beans, everything was great. Overall, for a birthday dinner out, the price matched the quality and service. Our friend had a blast as the servers came out with drums and sang a birthday song. The decor and vibes definitely bring a party!

Nice ambiance, great service & yummy food! Like their antique furniture! Their guest birthday celebration is fun!

Lime on the rocks Margarita, Strawberry 'Daiquiri' but they actually made a frozen Strawberry Margarita
Erin R.

This was my first time to Mi Cozumel and unfortunately I was less than impressed. I want to give it a better review because the food was really good, but unfortunately I have to credit this to the service. We ordered chorizo queso we never got. Had to ask for our regular queso after our meal was delivered. I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak burrito, which was good. But it's definitely American-Mexican. The drinks may look super impressive but I ordered a Strawberry Daiquiri and got a frozen Strawberry Margarita. These are two extremely different drinks. I was actually asked if I wanted tequila or rum and reiterated I wanted a daiquiri with rum. This was so disappointing because the pour was so strong I couldn't even fake liking it. I believe part of this may have been a language barrier but maybe less fancy sparkles and brush up on bartending knowledge! The vibe is cool and the decor is nice, plenty of setting. I can see why it draws a crowd. Hopefully I'll have a better experience next time.

Very quick service, huge menu, and gaudy novelty drinks that are very good. It wouldn't be a place I'd go often but definitely enjoyed our meal and drink. Music was a bit louder than I'd prefer but it was complimentary of the decor and overall intended experience. Edit: Our group wanted to experience this place so we went back together, a large group with ~25 people, and the service, food, and welcome we received was *FANTASTIC*! I have updated my review to indicate Five Stars and would highly recommend!

It took me wayyyyyyy too long to take my cousins and Mama to Mi Cozumel. We finally visited this weekend and needless to say we will definitely return when they visit me in the future. The presentation inflamboyance of the drinks immediately caught our eyes. I will say the drink menu is a tad bit overwhelming and I wish they had descriptions so I didn't have to ask our waitress so many questions about what each drink contained. We all enjoyed our drinks and our entrees. I would love to go back when we have more time to devote and could drink a little more honestly. The portions were generous and the food was very good as well. The decor was eclectic and added to the vibe. The only other thing I'll add is that the birthday band was a bit overwhelming as well LOL. If I went back to celebrate my birthday I don't know that I would let them know it was my special day haha. Oh, and the tables tableside guac is fire!

Unfortunately the tacos were not very tasty. Seasoning not impressive, very little meat drowning in all the other stuff, and quite dry overall. Coming from Texas, these didn't taste authentic. The corn was juicy but again lacking flavor. They did send an extra bag of salsa with chips on the side for free, but I wouldn't order again

Fun drinks. But beware, they add an 18% tip to ever check. I didn't see and tipped more. Not a good business practice.

Entertaining dining experience & above average food. Prices seem reasonable even with the auto-gray and credit card fee.

long story short: a lot of potential but too empty to deliver on the fun club energy…read more We went on Saturday night around midnight & the place was pretty empty. There was a DJ & a dance floor, but very few people were dancing, which was disappointing. The place itself was cool with colorful lights & fun graffiti-like walls, but the aesthetic was let down by the lack of people. We enjoyed the free popcorn & I really liked my drink, the downside up, although I realize it's probably too sweet for most. Unfortunately, the cocktail & popcorn didn't make up for the dead atmosphere & we left pretty quickly. I would be interested in going again & seeing what it would be like when it's lively; I imagine it would be a fun spot when the dance floor is full!

It was a nice night so we took advantage of being able to sit outside. I love all the random art and set up of the back. To drink I had the chunker, which was gin in a San Pelegríno it was a very refreshing drink! Deceptively doesn't taste like alcohol. I noticed some people with white claws and little airplane bottles so naturally I have to have a strong claw as well. We also had some very tasty shots, all around we had a good time, just hanging out and enjoying drinks, can't wait to come back here and visit again!

Food: 5/5 Dishes are explained as slightly larger plates than tapas style. My favorites: Wood Grilled Octopus, Crispy Falafel, Bouillabaisse. Love the Moroccan Mint Tea as well! Service: 4.7/5 Very friendly! They course out your plates for you which I always love. They were able to accommodate my pescatarian diet (I.e., meats on the side to give to others at the table). On a less busy night, they offered a free toast for my birthday. I've been for other celebratory dinners here on busier nights where that hasn't happened, so it was a lovely surprise! Ambiance: 4/5 A little busy and can get loud on the weekends with table chatter, cutlery clinks, and the brick walls echoing noise around. Tables are also close together, so you can definitely hear the conversation next to you. The decor is pleasant and the lighting is soft and romantic enough that it is still a perfect date night spot! There are also a couple larger crescent booths for larger parties.
