Los totopos vienen de diferentes sabores and my favorite is the nopal. They add so much flavor and make the whole dish feel special y bien pensado. They have a great variety of guisos and I had the chicharrón prensado con salsa verde. Buenísimo. The salsas you can choose from are all so so good. De verdad todas están riquísimas. My advice is go with your favorite color porque no hay pierde. You can add as much salsa as you want and every option hits. On the weekends they also have menudo bien riquísimo. De ese que sabe a casa y a domingo en la mañana. My daughters tried the breakfast tacos and they loved them. The flour tortillas are handmade y se nota. You can build different breakfast tacos and they even have one with salchichas just like you would make at home. We also tried the little pancakes and wow. It is a whole treat. Soft warm and comforting. Do not skip the arroz con leche. Tiene sabor a piloncillo and it is súper cremoso. Perfect way to end the meal.

The food is prepared and ready to be plated. The girl at the counter was very nice and explained to us the menu as well as gave suggestions. My husband got a fajita taco and a chicharrón prensado gordita good flavor, nothing wow. I got the chilaquiles box as you may already know I luv trying chilaquiles. I got the chicharrón prensado verde with the Suiza sauce. Good flavor BUT IMO it's missing the egg. In all the places I have ordered chilaquiles egg is an option. I felt with what I ordered I was just eating totopos ( chips) with salsa nothing else. The concept is good but missing the extras. The chilaquiles was less than half the box and for that I paid almost $11. If you see the picture the chilaquiles were below the white letters where it says chilaquiles. Honestly I would rather go elsewhere for chilaquiles.

Their tacos are pretty darn good and filling. Prices are good considering the size of each taco. They don't skimp on the fish nor the tasty slaw toppings. The green aguachile tostada was also pretty good. The fish and shrimp could have been cooked in the lime juice longer, but it was still tasty. Oh, we forgot to ask them to make the aguachile spicy and we seemed to have gotten mild by default. We went late in the day so we were the only customers. The lady behind the counter was friendly and fast with our food considering everything is made to order with fresh fish. Same for the aguachiles. I guess you can expect a little of a wait if you come when busy and especially if they only have one employee cooking and taking orders. We liked the food very much and will be back when craving fish tacos again.

Ordered the Fish and Shrimp Tacos...which were really simple but good. That Chipotle Tamarind sauce really kicks up the flavor really well. Fish and shrimp were fried perfectly and moist. Tostada de Tuna was refreshing and tasty. The fish empanadas I thought were good, but not wow. Good size and good value 3/5$. Service is slow because owner/chef (I assume) was the only Person there serving and making food. But I didn't mind since I already can tell the scenario. Will be back again to try the other items.

Eddie's Tacos on the corner of Nolana and North Jackson in Pharr, TX is part of a local chain…read more They offer breakfast and lunch, open from 5 AM - 3 PM (Sunday 6:30 AM - 3 PM). They are very popular, especially for their breakfast tacos (in Mexico they'd be called "burritos"). The lines in the morning can be quite long and I've never tried Eddie's for breakfast. I have been to Eddie's for lunch on occasion. They're best set up for drive through or take-out, but do have a dine-in option. This time rather than go for my usual chile relleno plate, I ordered their enchiladas. They offer more than one kind: suizas (green sauce, traditionally filled with chicken), mexicanas (with chile colorado sauce), americanas (yellow cheese and american style sauce), and another I can't remember ... I think it was cheese filled antojito style. On any of these they give you the option of the filling you want. This time I got the mexicana style with fajita (there is a surcharge for fajita). I also got the chips and salsa. The chips are American, Tostito type, but OK. I would have preferred traditional tortilla chips. The salsa was good, delivered in three small cups with lids. The enchiladas were very good, but I did notice some grizzle in some of the fajita. The salsa colorado and queso fresco on top were good. They offer aguas frescas, but they appear to be made from concentrate rather than fresh fruit, so I got a soft drink, Manzanita. The lady at the counter was very pleasant, friendly, and helpful. She made me feel welcome and valued as a customer, and her service was excellent - truly a gem. Order at the counter, and they'll bring you your food to your table. For those who dine in, you can leave your plate at the table when you're through, and show your appreciation with a tip. If I order enchiladas again, I'll probably get the suizas (always a favorite), but I imagine I will be back if in the neighborhood and hungry.

Mi Chula is a favorite among locals and is known for great Mexican food, friendly service, and reasonable prices. I had never been to Mi Chula, but met a friend here for lunch. They offer limonada con pepino, Coca-Cola fountain drinks, bottled Mexican sodas, and coffee. The have a wide selection of breakfasts with chikaquiles, breakfast tacos, eggs with machacado, bacon, or chorizo, huevos rancheros, and much more. I was there for lunch and saw they have quite a few typical Mexican fare such as carne guisada, bistek ranchero, chile rellenos, steak, and many antojitos. They also offer soups like caldo Tlalpeño, and salads. I got the chile relleno with both meat and cheese. It came with rice, beans, a small salad (no salad dressing), and my choice of freshly made corn or flour tortillas. I really enjoyed my meal. While we were dining, we were able to talk with no problem despite the background music being a tad louder than I would have preferred. Then a mariachi group came in and sang a couple of songs. I think I found a new personal favorite. Mi Chula checks all the boxes: ambience, great service, delicious food, and good prices. I highly recommend them.
