The atmosphere has potential, but the space itself feels oddly underutilized, lacking the intentional flow and layered ambiance that define truly memorable bars. Cocktails are priced ambitiously even by Aspen standards, occasionally crossing the line to difficult to justify. Still, despite its shortcomings, it manages to deliver what most people ultimately come for: a lively crowd, an attractive room, and an undeniably good time if expectations are kept in the right place.

My husband said the French dip meat was good and tender, pretty good flavor overall. I had the chicken sandwich which was huge! They split the sandwich into three wedges and I could only finish two. I liked the texture of the chicken was nice and I liked the slaw on it, however, the flavor overall was kind of lacking. I would say it was a bit overhyped. Overall, it was a nice experience for a decent price and I'm glad we went. Would we go back? Probably.

We ordered THREE drinks at the bar, and as a table opened, carried them to the table while the bar tender transferred our bill over so we could pay the waitress at the end. We ordered only 2 more drinks from the waitress and then asked for the bill. THIS is when she told us gratuity was already added in the bill, as she handed it to us. Was that because we were at a table? Why did nobody tell us that before? TWENTY-TWO percent automatic gratuity for getting us 2 drinks. $200 for 2 glasses of wine and 3 cocktails. So, my dear friends, check the drink prices and ask if gratuity is added BEFORE you order. And if $36 is steep for a drink; then just take pictures, use the restroom and then go to another bar. Trust me, the cocktails WERE NOT WORTH $36 + $8 tip + $4 tax = FOURTY-EIGHT dollars each!

I ordered what looked like a calzone (pizza that is wrapped) and it was the saltiest dish I've tried. Again we were trying to be mindful and too nice but I think we just went too far for being too nice. I then ordered the other pizza and it was honestly quite mediocre. The waiter was really nice and that's why I'm giving it 1 star otherwise it would be zero for us. They weren't even willing to provide salad. Come on! You can't even make salad in your kitchen? That was just ridiculous. And believe it or not, we had amazing food in every other restaurant we tried in Aspen so this was certainly a one off. My suggestion to the management team is to be honest about your the last call from your kitchen. If you close at 10pm and your kitchen runs till 9pm, you ought to be able to take orders till 9pm. Otherwise, be upfront and shot down kitchen at 8:30pm. Quite disappointed and not even sure if I would ever want to give this place a try.
