I was craving tacos so I went to this Latin restaurant because I checked online they had pretty cheap tacos. They didn't disappoint! Food: average: 8/10 4 piece carnitas tacos: $10 Compared to other restaurants I've looked at, one taco costed average about 6-7 dollars. So this was an amazing deal! Taco is very good, it had onion, cilantro and lime. Very filling, the only thing was it was a bit greasy. 8.7/10 Medium Combo meal: yellow rice with pepper steak: $10 It was decent, nice texture with the steak, rice was good. I'll ask for less broth next time because it made my rice a bit too soggy. 8/10 Vanilla Flan: $4 I've never had flan before so I thought I would try it! It's pretty good, too sweet for my liking, but I don't usually like sweet things in general. But it's a nice treat to have once in a while! 7.5/10 Service and ambience: 10/10 peaceful atmosphere, place was very clean and people were friendly! Overall for the price it's great, if you're craving for Latin food and want something on the cheaper side this is the place to go! I definitely will come back to try the other things on the menu! 8.5/10

I didn't know what to expect because they offer a vast array of Latin cuisine instead of just specializing in one type. I was not disappointed. The server was super friendly and though mostly just tables there was some decor to liven up the place. Their desserts are so delectable. I ended up going back and getting more to take home. Got a medium combo platter and asked for congri, beans, pernil, and maduros and everything was delicious. The server looked at the pernil on the line and didn't think it was good enough to serve so he had us wait and got some fresh from the back with the crispy bits we love. I have had their empanada before and wasn't super impressed but I think it really depends what you get.

Chicken tacos (2 of the original 4, but I ate 2 before taking this pic).

Excellent. I met a good friend here for lunch - it was my first time - and wow! I got the chicken tacos and they were absolutely delicious. The best I've had. They were friendly, fast, clean...and the tacos came with 4 for $10. We ate there and the pic is of the 2 left over that I brought home for later. I highly recommend.

Mi Casa Grande was bright and clean. The two women behind the counter were patient and helpful as I asked questions about the food and made my selections. I decided on stewed chicken and yellow rice, with red beans on top. The chicken was very tender, seasoned very well and I had asked for extra broth and it was extremely flavorful over the chicken and rice The mango juice was very good too.

My favorite place to order tacos! I love that they offer a wonderful selection of authentic Latin food. Everything is so flavorful and delicious. I highly recommend! Tortillas are fresh, along with the homemade made juices and portions are decent, especially for the price. Im so happy I found this place a few years back I've been a patron ever since.

Carnitas tacos I already ate one.

Had an order of the carnitas tacos. It was great. I just wish you could split them up and get different kinds but the carnitas is so good.

Was otw to Albany and made a stop here because Layla's is closed down. I was so glad we did because the food was delicious. Everything was so fresh. The service was amazing and fast. The ambiance is pretty basic, just a hige dining room with tables and chairs to eat at. I would definitely be coming regularly. The portions were huge and my mango juice hit the spot! The parcha was also delicious!

The interior of the restaurant is pretty sparse and there is not much in the way of decorations which is OK because they apparently put their efforts into the food. I had the beef stew with Cuban rice and beans which were delicious. I also had a quite tasty empanada with a can of coconut soda to wash it all down with.

I was seeking some authentic Latin food and came across this place. I drove past this place today and decided to try it out. Here is the experience I had: Parking - there is a big parking lot at the restaurant. I didn't have any trouble finding a spot but when I left the parking lot did seem full. (I stopped on Wednesday around 7pm) Customer Service - there were two young girls working the counter. They were both friendly with each other and with the customers. I informed them it was my first time there and they were patient with me and explained a few things. Check out was quick and easy. Food - I reeeeeally wanted to try the pupusas but they were sold out for the night. The girl working the counter gave me the insider tip that the best time to grab some pupusas is in the morning so I'll definitely be back to try them. I ended up getting a few empanadas and maduros. They were all tasty and went well with my passion fruit drink. Experience - this place was full of Latin American folks. It's definitely not Tex-Mex or Taco Bell so be ready for an authentic experience here. I took my food to-go!

A quick review from a recent uber eats order…read more I was in town for a business trip and decided to order a few uber eats orders since my hotel's food is not the best. Looking through recommendations I came across Mr. Bigg's restaurant. I am always open to try different cuisines and one for sure was Caribbean/ Jamaican when I am back home. It was definitely surprising how fast it was made and delivered but then I also noticed it was located pretty close to my hotel. I ordered the Oxtail with beans & rice, plantains, steamed cabbage and an additional side of corn bread. First bite was a delicious. The oxtails are tender fall of the bone. Great depth of flavor and texture was delicate. Plantains are nice in flavor and color, steam cabbage is steamed nicely not watery, rice was a great compliment and the corn bread was moist and sweet. Overall I appreciated the food from Mr. Bigg's restaurant. I did not have a chance to stop in around the city for restaurant due to my schedule but this was a great presentation of what the restaurant offers. Caribbean cuisine is something I do not often get but when I do, I never am disappointed. I would recommend this and especially if you like a meal that is full of flavor, spices and possibly put you to sleep haha

The woman who was working was very kind, answered all our questions, and gave us recommendations! The small entrees came with 1 side which was the Cabbage (meat also served over rice and beans). I absolutely loved both meats I tried. The Fricassee Chicken had both juicy and some slightly tougher spots but was overall very flavorful. It came with bell peppers which brought a nice bright crunch to the heavier meal. The Curry Chicken was also very flavorful and saucy. For the sides: Personally, I'm not a mac and cheese fan but this was soo good. I highly recommend getting the large; great portion size and definitely can fill you up for 2 meals easily. I loved trying a bit of everything together - the chicken, the mac and cheese, the sauce, the rice and beans... soo good. I'd recommend you come and support a locally owned business!

The atmosphere was beautiful, the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and I had the haddock and grits with a strawberry lemon drop. Everything was delicious, and one thing I noticed right away is that they are definitely generous with the liquor. The strawberry lemon drop was so good! I went back during the week of Juneteenth for their happy hour (I'm not sure if it's every week or just for special occasions), and it did not disappoint. I ordered the Rasta pasta and the mango wings. The Rasta pasta was absolutely top tier! I had also tried their jerk chicken tacos before, and those are easily one of my favorite things on the menu so I had to get them again. Honestly, writing this review has me getting hungry all over again. The mango wings had a beautiful presentation, but they weren't my favorite. I was expecting a stronger mango flavor, and I would've liked the wings to be just a little harder with a more flavor. That said, it definitely wouldn't stop me from coming back because everything else I've had has been amazing. While I was there, they had a spin wheel where you could win discounted shots, and I ended up trying a ginger shot along with another cocktail. Once again, the drinks did not disappoint. The DJ kept the energy up, the vibe was great, and the service has been consistently excellent every time I've visited. I still haven't made it to one of their late-night events yet, but it's definitely on my list. Overall, Erma's is a solid 10/10. Great food, great drinks, beautiful atmosphere, and amazing service. If you're looking for a spot with good vibes and even better food, I'd definitely recommend checking them out.

The spiked juice they served was quite strong, but it was perfectly balanced with a kick of sweetness.
