I had done the due diligence on selecting the right contractor to side our house with Hardie-Board (Hardieplank). MHX was by far the best priced and based on the time and effort they put into completing this job, it was better then we expected. From the initial contact to the completion, the quality and professionalism was very apparent. There was no gimmicks or short cuts taken and honestly, they cleaned up every single day like it was the last day. I was thoroughly impressed with the project leader and entire crew. They all went the extra mile and were not flummoxed when i asked them to change or add something as the need arose. I;ll definitely be calling them again soon for our deck redux and addition. I don't typically write these reviews, but I definitely want to jump on here and say Dale Rimmer…read morewas beyond amazing. I got his name and number from my vet actually so I had to cancel the appointment because water was pouring out of my ceiling which I thought was a roofing issue from my porch. It turned out that it was a heating pipe that split. My daughter told me that the floor upstairs was soaked. I ran upstairs I pulled up the carpet and it was scolding to the touch. There was a lot of steam coming off the floor. I ended up calling the fire company going way over the extreme, but by that point I had already called Dale Rimmer. He ended up getting here as fire company was leaving ( which was 20 minutes ) He did explain on the phone that it was probably just steam coming off the floor. He remained with me at the house until I had somebody able to come out and fix the pipe( the fire company turned off my boiler as it was pouring water into my house). I'm also leaving a review for my Fire company. I've never needed them in all my years living here, but they were downright amazing and the same thing with the police downright amazing. I cannot be thankful enough for my community and the fact that Dale was the voice a reason and calmness in my crazy day.!!!

Several siding contractors we called said they only did siding. Dale said he had contractors that he has worked with for years that could do the stone work and build the new porch. We also had a new flagstone walkway installed and our deck refurbished. The new siding, gutters and downspouts completed the makeover of our home's exterior. Dale was personally involved and was quick to answer and questions or concerns we had. All of the people took pride in their work and the results show it.

There is no way that the positive review from for this company are real…read more My mother contracted Bachman's for a quote on new roof, siding, facia, soffit and gutters. The issues started with the pushy salesman they sent. At first, he just seemed like a nice guy, but the reality is he lied to my mother and father right from the begging. 1. The salesman made it seem as though union level workers (not in the union but very experienced) would show up to do the installation. What showed up was a group of South Americans that didn't speak any English and didn't care about the working done. 2. My parents told him they wanted the item replaced not changed. Nothing was the same. The siding isn't the same as the was already installed. They installed soffit that is not the same. Changed the colors of the drip edge. Did not install a gutter guard that is comparable to the existing one. There are a lot of complaints against them about these kinds of shady sales practices with elderly individuals like my parents. We would be fine with this if the work was done well. But there are numerous workman ship quality issues are still present they refuse to return to repair. 1. The gap between the gutters and facia in multiple locations. 2. Nails in the face of the siding and drip edge in multiple locations. 3. The gutter guards do not allow sufficient liquid to pass through even when cleaned out. 4. Installed a piece of flashing on the ends that is bent upwards. 5. Did not connect the ground wires to the flood lights and left the wire nut connections outside the construction box. 6. Screwed the flood light into the soffit instead of construction box. 7. My mother called them in the winter about ice buildup on the gutters/guards. They have lived in this house since it was built new and this never happened in the past. They sent an employee that looked at it but did nothing. If you value your time and money avoid Bachman's at all costs.

I hired Munz Roofing and Siding to complete a siding project, and I could not be happier with the entire experience. From the start, their consultant, Stephen M., came out and provided helpful education, a thorough walkthrough, zero pressure, and a timely quote for several different product options. Munz ultimately provided the best quote among the three local companies that came out. Eric G., their general manager, also came out to review the plan and clearly outlined the steps they would take to protect our garden beds during the siding removal and installation. That level of communication and attention to detail gave us a lot of confidence going into the project. Project Manager Chris and installer Oleg then completed the project in 9.5 days, which was even half a day ahead of their original 10-day estimate. Chris checked in every day to see if we had any questions or concerns, and Oleg's work was outstanding. His craftsmanship and attention to detail were top notch, and he spent at least a half hour cleaning up every day before leaving. One thing that really stood out was that Oleg took the time to point out how well the previous siding job had been done when the house was built about 40 years ago. He noted that the original wrapping had been applied with meticulous precision, which helped explain why there was minimal water damage to the existing boards. That honesty was appreciated, especially because there was never a moment where the crew attempted to upsell us on unnecessary work. Overall, Munz was professional, honest, communicative, and highly skilled from start to finish. I could not recommend this company enough. Five stars, and if you can, request Chris and Oleg by name as your crew.

If you ever find yourself in the unfortunate position of needing to deal with your homeowners…read moreinsurance following a tree swiping the back of your house, let me give you some advice. Last March 2024, during an especially windy day a country club's tree came down and whacked the rear of my house, starting from the highest roof, ripping down wires and landed on my detached garage where it sat until PECO could make it safe. I initially gave the go ahead for my insurer, who I'll call SF, to send out a contractor to assess the damage. Well someone came out, slapped a tarp on the hole in the garage, but seemed dismissive of the house damage. And then I heard nothing for the longest time. So, getting concerned I called Impriano to get their opinion, as is my right, since I had a good experience with them 13 years ago with a new roof. Jack Impriano came out and did a very thorough inspection finding a lot more damage than SF's contractor did, including a split rafter in the garage roof. He looked at the plan for repair that the adjuster had drawn up finding it completely inadequate, so he drew up his own. He basically worked directly with the adjuster, all while updating me about what was going on. There were many problems such as the SF contractor sending the wrong information to SF that led them to believe the work was complete when nothing was repaired. The contractors invoice included pictures that wasn't even my property. Jack Impriano handled everything, everything is repaired/replaced, their crew came out in the most inhospitable weather and did an excellent job. You could tell how well done my 13 year old roof was when shingles were removed. It's amazing how nice our new roof and siding looks. It's peace of mind working with a company that takes pride in their work, and there's good reason they've been around for so long. I didn't realize they also handle windows which is on my to do list. I don't think I would trust anyone else. Thank you Jack and Ed and the rest of your hard working crew, including the office, you guys were great, can't thank you enough.

They seem to be stand-up craftsmen who want to do a good job at all costs and don't treat their customers like just another number.
