Honest, reliable, and very reasonably priced. No nickel and diming here. Eric gave me a set price for the hours he estimated I needed and at an affordable rate. Edwin was the team leader and he was on the ball with everything. Told me what's needed to get the job done quickly and he executed it to the T. These guys got everything done within that time. Best part is not a scratch on any of my walls or trim in either homes. I'd recommend these guys to anyone who's looking for someone they can trust. This company is an absolute scam. Do NOT waste your money. They guys stole from my roommate and I,…read moredamaged everything, delivered at 3 AM when they were suppose to be there the previous night at 5 PM And then tried negotiating more money and threatened not to give us our stuff because his guys were "tired". One of the kids was hammered and threw up in our apartment elevator (which was on camera) and then they left our stuff still in the truck and they did not assemble anything they took apart. Also blocked our numbers when we called them. We are actively working with attorney to sue because they caused more in damages to our stuff and new apartment then what we paid for the job in the first place.

The day of my move Victor and his crew Showed up to my home, I walked the house with Victor and showed him everything that they were moving. The only two things that I had not mentioned to Carmine were a single twin mattress and a single full mattress (no furniture with those sets just mattresses) which other than the extra mattress pads it should have added several minutes to the move. When we got to the new house, his attitude didn't change either and got into an argument and was disrespectful to a family member and said she should have respect for the movers and get out of his way. The movers left all my boxes in the living room , they didn't put my bedroom set together, so I ended up sleeping on the floor and all this aggravation and having to pay 400 more. Well, I'm gonna say is if you decide to use Verrazano movers make sure you have them come to your home and give you an estimate because they will wholeheartedly pull the wool over your eyes and financially take advantage of you. Even though one of them reeked of booze, the crew of four managed to drive from Westchester to the Bronx to Long Island without a scratch. Most of them don't speak fluent English unfortunately, but they do speak the language of moving, assembling, and Russian. They handle their jobs with accurate precision and knowledge, just as long as they have a bottle in the truck (I even saw one of them swigging one during their ten minute break). They are a very sociable bunch - everybody kept a good attitude despite the heat and the weight they had to lug up three floors into a narrow apartment. They assembled my bedroom with haste and upon my command. It took them about eight hours to complete a two stop journey involving two peoples' furniture across three counties. We tipped them a good amount of cash (40$ each and a bottle of Jack) and they left happily. They don't get paid much by their company, but they sure as hell know how to do a moving job with speed and efficiency.

Instead of turning the truck around to come back to my house to finish the drop-off, I was told they would come back on their next trip. They never did. After months of back and forth, excuses, and delays, they offered me less than $30 as compensation for the items they lost or stole. So, in short, if you use Moving Zone, you are effectively giving them an option to either deliver your property or to not deliver it and give you 6 cents per pound of property.

I conferred with Pete on items I estimated (number of boxes, large items), about 10 days out, we agreed to price, a time, and they came ready to help as agreed! I added a few items a few days prior and it was okay. His two sons are nice gentleman, hard-working, pleasant personalities, expedient, and careful with our belongings. I really appreciate their service. They handled our 550 sq. foot apartment, king mattress, box spring, lamps, bikes, table with such care, even assembling our bed frame on arrival. The price we agreed to is what I paid. You'd think these are expected qualities in a service provider but in NYC, you don't get reputable movers who care about their, well, reputation. I was so nervous about moving this dresser I bought off fb market place as it is made of all mirrors. Then the day of the move I saw the way they worked and their communication blew me away. Honestly, I was nervous to buy this dresser thinking if I moved in the future how hard it would be to do again, but they reassured me and showed me how careful and professional they are. They even took the time to show me how to take off and put back on the drawers properly because I was lost there! I would highly highly recommend to anyone, really made everything feel safe and smooth and what I thought would have taken at least an hour, took them maybe 20 minutes. These guys know what they're doing!
