This is the third time I have used this company and they are by far the best. Professional, hard working, careful, friendly. Russian is their primary language but it was never a problem. I had these three guys run up and down stairs on both sides of the move and they had no complaints. They even threw out the +50 bags of trash I accumulated while cleaning out the old place. I live in New Jersey and this was no problem for them. COULD NOT BE HAPPIER!!!!

Moving Zone either lost or stole (I have no way of knowing which, but I do know that boxes don't disappear) over $2,800 of my property during our cross-country move. I noticed that boxes were missing within 2 hours of their truck leaving my home for the drop-off. Instead of turning the truck around to come back to my house to finish the drop-off, I was told they would come back on their next trip. They never did. After months of back and forth, excuses, and delays, they offered me less than $30 as compensation for the items they lost or stole. So, in short, if you use Moving Zone, you are effectively giving them an option to either deliver your property or to not deliver it and give you 6 cents per pound of property. read more

If you like your boxes shaken nor stirred, this is the moving company for you. If you don't like your movers to be having drinks shaken or stirred, then this isn't the company for you. Even though one of them reeked of booze, the crew of four managed to drive from Westchester to the Bronx to Long Island without a scratch. Most of them don't speak fluent English unfortunately, but they do speak the language of moving, assembling, and Russian. They handle their jobs with accurate precision and knowledge, just as long as they have a bottle in the truck (I even saw one of them swigging one during their ten minute break). They are a very sociable bunch - everybody kept a good attitude despite the heat and the weight they had to lug up three floors into a narrow apartment. They assembled my bedroom with haste and upon my command. It took them about eight hours to complete a two stop journey involving two peoples' furniture across three counties. We tipped them a good amount of cash (40$ each and a bottle of Jack) and they left happily. They don't get paid much by their company, but they sure as hell know how to do a moving job with speed and efficiency. read more

My shipment was a week late, and my items had water damage and many of my items were also scratched and broken, and I am missing a box. When I asked about the status of my shipment, they kept blowing me off. They told me to let them know about the damages, but I have not heard back from them AT ALL. Stay away from these guys and find a reputable company! P.S. Sergey is the name of the owner, so the review by him is probably fake. read more

I am sorry coz I do not like to say anything negative about anyone but I really really needed to warn people against them. To start with, they came one hour late, and when I called the owner to ask him why they at 9 instead of 8. He said don't worry, we won't charge you from 8? What does that even mean? The foreman stormed into the apartment and started complaining right off the bat, that we have so much stuff and we ordered for two people move. My husband and I moved most of the things by our self, and only needed movers for the big pieces of furniture and a few boxes. At every point of the move, he kept insulting us and yelling at us. At some point, he even said that we live like dirty pigs. The reason we wanted to move from the apartment is because there were lot of roaches and leakage in the apartment. Which is not out fault, but the problem of the building. And even if we did live like pigs, I do not think the movers have a right to point that out regardless. When I asked him (I believe his name is Sergie) to apologize for insulting my husband and I , he said, " me? apologize to you. Never." Also, the tugged on our bed frame so hard, that it broke. When I asked him what it, he blamed us for buying cheap furniture. Once, we reached the new place, unfortunately the elevator was broke, so they asked for 100$ extra just to climb one flight of stairs. There are so many other things, but I just don't see the point in writing it all. Just want to tell everyone not to use them. Moving is stressful as is, do not needed the movers to create more panic. read more

I was suggested the movers after my recommended mover didn't want to work on July 5th. Ok, the sign up process was fine. I asked specifically that if I have all my stuff in boxes, will there be any extra charges (for anything, or if any extra charges ever occur). No, they said never extra charges for anything beyond packing boxes. Ok, all my things are in boxes, i thought. (i get all boxes for free, so i could have had extras). It turns out there are boxes that they use to pack TV, garden pots, and things you wouldn't imagine need a box. they say it is safer, and so force you to pay extra. The foreman for the job was nice and responsible. before i signed that all is done, they informed me that my glass table broke (glass needs to be glued on again or something). Fine, i signed, they left. I opened my boxes, the garden pot that cost me extra was broken. most of my glassware, that was in a box that said FRAGILE was broken... use heavy caution with these russian movers.. read more

If you are moving more than a few blocks AVOID these amateurs. I recently moved with them from NY to CA. I found them through uship as I was desperate for a last minute move for work. For starters, their communication is poor to non existent, they don't return calls or emails, even when they verbally promise to call you back. Their website says they have a truck to CA each week, this is a lie, they broker out your shipment to another mover, you have no idea who is loading your transport. They don't provide receipts for last minute additional charges! All of this would be annoying but tolerable, if your goods were loaded properly for cross country transport. They told me not to bother shrink wrapping my furniture as they use moving blankets, thank God I did, because there was not a single moving blanket used for my shipment (they even stole a moving blanket I provided). EVERY SINGLE piece of furniture arrived damaged, a computer monitor was smashed. DO NOT use these crooks, they don't care once they get your money. read more

They are professional, accommodating, and have a good attitude. When our destination did not have a loading dock, they built a makeshift ramp from planks and saved us about 2 hours of going back and forth around the building. Really great, hardworking guys who were on time, careful with our computers/monitors (wrapped them up individually), and made sure our commercial move went smoothly. Would recommend. read more

After returning the van, we arrived home and I was able to view my receipt that had been emailed to me. I was surprised to see that they had charged me for almost 45 miles. As suggested by U-Haul, I had taken a photo of the odometer that morning, before we left the lot. The photo I initially took showed a higher starting mileage than claimed by the U-Haul receipt. According to my odometer photo and the ending mileage, we had only traveled around 11 miles, not the nearly 45 miles that they charged us for. The woman helping us that morning was very nice, so I called to tell her that their mileage calculation was inaccurate. I thought that she would be able to resolve the issue, especially since we had a time-stamped photo of the odometer, taken before we left the lot. Instead, she told me that she had sent a link via text for us to upload the photos showing the condition of the van and the odometer, before we left the lot. She said that uploading the photos before we left would have been the only way to prove my claim. There was no such text on either of our phones, and we were never informed that we were supposed to upload photos anywhere. We were only advised to take photos, which we did. If a franchise does not make enough money renting vehicles, they should increase the fees, not cheat their customers. I would have happily paid the $59, if it was an honest charge. Customers should be aware that they are scammers.

It was a very good experience from the beginning to the very end. From the moment I called and spoke with the dispatcher to the moment that the movers left - nothing but professional, friendly, considerate of your time, needs, your belongings (big and little), and even money! They showed up on time, worked fast and accurate, and cleaned up after themselves. They had to disassemble and reassemble some of the furniture, take out and put back a door in the apartment - no problem!!! I didn't expect such a great service, to be honest. Interstate move from Queens New York to Texas My experience using Moving Zone for my move from Queens to Texas was excellent. I contacted several companies but when I talked to the representative for Moving Zone in Brooklyn, I knew this was the company I wanted to move my items. I only had a very small window to both get a quote and then have my items packed and moved. He was there Friday for a quote and the packers came on Monday to pack and move my items. The packers and the men who delivered my items in Texas were both courteous and careful with everything. Definitely would use them again!! I did a lot of research and got many (too many) quotes before landing on Moving Zone. Not only is it the most cost efficient, but the staff is super friendly and willing to help you with any size of move. Their prices include 3 movers and a truck (rather than most that include 2 movers and a sprinter van). They're pros and use their time the most efficiently. I moved apartments from Brooklyn to another Brooklyn place about a mile away. Nothing was broken and everything made it safely even during a huge rainstorm. Couldn't recommend enough! read more

The Moving Zone movers provided speedy and efficient communication in the lead up to them moving both my roommate and I to our new apartment. I received a quote from them nearly right away after requesting, and they worked with us to collaborate moving from two separate locations. On the day of our move, they were incredibly fast and insisted on putting all items where we required, even going to so far as move something misplaced that I was more than happy to move myself. Had a fairly complex move last week from Manhattan to Connecticut. 2-bedroom apt in an elevator building to a 3 story house. 4 guys showed up, as requested, and busted their assess for 11 straight hours (including the drive) to move all our stuff into the new house. We have a LOT of stuff. It filled their 26-ft truck to the gills. And we wanted a lot of stuff to go to the 3rd floor and these guys moved it up without questions/complaints.
