I advised that I called because I was given a Groupon and after asking when I would like to move he said we don't accept Groupons on that day. Had my friend cancel the Groupon. During the quoting process, we listed out all the items--furniture, chairs, bed, mirror, boxes, etc. When they arrived, they first verified the number of items matched the quote. They were okay with a few extra small boxes (2-4), but if something significantly bigger wasn't on the list, they either wouldn't take it or would charge extra. They charged me for 4 hours of work, and 3 movers showed up and completed everything within that time. They even moved 3-5 extra items without any hassle. They handled fragile items like the mirror and glass table with care, though they did charge $80 for packing materials. There was some damage to a dresser cabinet, but they compensated me for it. Overall, I'm satisfied with their service and would consider using them again.

I also believed I reacted in a normal way to someone who kept insisting 10 boxes, when I had the proof clearly in the email they sent me I put 20. As I said in my review, I offered to help and pay more money on the spot. Any perception of me being "hostile" was me being eager to do whatever it took to get the job done, including help. How else would anyone else who was on a time crunch act? Just sit back and take the lies? We were all adults here. I offer for anyone reading this to contact anyone I know on yelp... including my employer of 4 years and my previous employer of 17 years. They will attest what a compromising person I am and how I've bent over backward to help them, which I tried to do with these movers.

I booked my move a month in advance, I had a long discussion with the lady on the phone who knew we were moving to Long Island from Brooklyn. She told me it would be an hourly rate for a minimum of 3 hours + travel time, and "end of month fee". The movers turned up at 8.35am for a 9am appointment, they eventually came up to our apt at 9.15am. He surveyed our goods and said "ok no problem, we'll start with the boxes, i'll be right back" THE NEXT THING I GET IS A TEXT CANCELLING OUR MOVE at 9.35am! They claim our building we're uncooperative (UNTRUE ON SO MANY LEVELS) and that we were not packed... our entire apartment was packed and ready when they showed up. I had no discussion with the movers about this, they simply cancelled. Presumably because they couldn't be bothered to move on a Sunday. We had to find a last minute mover on a Sunday in July during COVID. THEY ARE THE WORST! avoid.

I needed a mover at the very last minute. I contacted Quick Movers via Yelp the night before my…read moremove and they (Nick) were extremely responsive and helpful, and were able to book me for the next morning at a reasonable rate. Since we only had 20 boxes and they were being moved to a storage facility, I agreed to be a pit stop in the middle of someone else's move. This means if the first move pickup took longer than expected, I had to wait. Which I did, for 6.5 hours. When the movers did arrive, they were very efficient and had a positive attitude. They moved all of our stuff successfully in less than an hour. For the 20 boxes, from Williamsburg to Clinton Hill, they charged $295, which is their minimum. I payed via Zelle, which was convenient. Super grateful for their help in our 11th hour, for the great customer service, good price, and efficiency during the move.
