The restaurant was clean and I was greeted when I walked in. The lady who helped me was very nice. She took her time and didn't rush me, which I appreciated. I got a grain and greens bowl. They had a lot of good options for toppings, like eggplant, cucumbers and tomatoes, couscous, lentils, onions, and more. I also paid an upcharge and added falafel. The falafel and the bowl were both good. I do wish you could get more than 2 sauces for free, because even with the sauce it was dry. It's $.98 per additional sauce which is too much in my eyes. After I refrigerated it, the sauce disappeared altogether.. The lemon garlic sauce and cilantro sauces are tasty. I also enjoyed their pita chips. You definitely should try those. I tried the red velvet cookie, which was just ok. It was too hard. I've had their chocolate chip cookies in the past which are delicious, but the same vibe wasn't there with the red velvet. I bumped in to Mezeh coming back from the post office on battlefield. I was hungry and didn't want the typical Chipotle. It was a little after lunch so the place was pretty quiet. You can tell it was is new and clean and has a cool vibe. For a chain restaurant it is a cool spot for healthy food. I ordered a make tour own bowl and was quite satisfied. They also have fountain juices. The only thing I found odd, was it is a Mediterranean restaurant, but all the workers were Hispanic. I know because there was me and one other patron and while I was enjoying my food, all I heard was Spanish. I would recommend trying this spot. The food is quite good. read more

Looking for a Mediterranean restaurant and this is one of what yelp suggested. Coming to it, I was right away interested coz the place is so beautiful, Clean and exotic looking. Love the decors and the placement of everything. The place is large and they have an outside dining too with nice and clean area. The servers are really helpful and nice. I appreciate them. The food looks good and the taste is delicious. My picky husband enjoyed his lamb wrap. I choose my bowls in the selection of the salad bar. And I love every taste. The veggies are fresh, and meat taste really well seasoned & good. Overall it's a great experience of sight and taste. Will bring the kids back here too. read more

I've been coming to this location for almost 2 years now, but my visits have dwindled. The last few times I have paid over $15 for a bowl and barely gotten what I paid for. Tonight I ordered the mezeh Greek bowl which was supposed to come as a salad with a whole lot of veggies. The worker put about 4 pieces of romaine in the bowl. I mean, it's a salad. It's supposed to be filled to the max with lettuce. The flavors of their food are great but I can't justify the price any longer. There has been a sign for help on the door for the last 6 months, so I know they are hurting. But, portions will need to change or I just can't return. read more

I absolutely love this place. I went there at least 1-2 a week. They gave great portions, it was clean, and staff were friendly. Over all I have nothing negative to say about this place. I honestly think they have fresher food and quality than a canva and chipotle. I was sad when the other day I went by the resturant and a sign was on the door saying they were closed. I love Mezah and I was so happy to see a location in my family's hometown. The cuisine is Mediterranean with an assembly line type of format, similar to Chipotle. I like building a bowl with Chicken Shawarma, plenty of veggies, rice, tzatziki, and a side pita. This is a grab option for grab-n-go meal options. You can order easily on the app and have your lunch or dinner ready for pickup. The restaurant itself is super nice inside. It looks like a high end sit down restaurant! For my first time eating at Mezeh Mediterranean Grill, I was blown away by the immense flavors of the food and the awesome service by the staff. I decided to order a Chicken Wrap while my boyfriend ordered a Chicken Bowl. For my Wrap, I chose brown rice, chicken shawarma and a host of toppings such as spicy hummus, cucumbers and tomatoes, roasted corn, and olives and topped it with the harissa sauce. The server actually helped me decide what would be best to add to my Wrap since I wanted it to be a little spicy and I thought that was super nice of him to do. For the Bowl, he chose kale, chicken kebab, cucumbers and tomatoes, purple cabbage, spicy hummus and spicy feta dip among other items and topped it with an abundance of harissa sauce. A freshly baked pita was served with the Bowl. The food was absolutely amazing and tasted very authentic due to the fresh herbs, spices and ingredients. The specialty drinks were also just as great and I loved that they were self serve. I decided to create my own drink and mixed the Berry Watermelon, Strawberry Lemonade and the Mango Punch together and it was great, I highly recommend trying it lol. We did try the Baklava but it was very sweet and didn't taste fresh at all so unfortunately we didn't enjoy it. The restaurant was very clean and the decor was fun and vibrant. I guess it was so darn good I forgot to take a picture! It's one of those places where you make a bowl or a wrap. I went with a bowl and as usual, I filled it with a million things! Delicious. The chicken was good but I'll be honest, the lamb was even better! My coworker got that. Really good sauces and options for the bowl. You start with some lettuce if you'd like a little bit of rice, which I passed to help save on the carbs. It comes with a little pita bread on the side! Everything here is soooo fresh! I love this Mezeh! It's in Chesapeake near Sam's Club. For my protein I got the Chicken Schwarma. It was perfectly seasoned and delicious. I also added to my bowl brown rice, spinach, couscous which was amazing , and tabbouleh. All the flavors came together for a nice meal. The tzatziki on top made it even more satisfying. The pita served was warm. Staff is helpful and attentive. They are so organized and the place is kept clean and spotless. Parking is ample. I got the chocolate chip cookie as well. It is the best ! I stumbled upon this place when I was leaving out of Mission BBQ. It's definitely in a cut of a new shopping strip. As I walked in, I notice how big and spacious the place was. I didn't get any greetings or welcome from the staff. They just looked at me -_- Anyways... the music was so loud, I basically had to yell and point my to what I want for my bowl. This being my first time trying this restaurant I had no idea what I wanted. The employees were very accommodating. They were very patient with me. Food selection is decent, they are like a Mediterranean chipotle. This location however has terrible customer service ! I walked in and was told I'd be served within 5/10 mins. The associate then proceeded to pull about 13-20 mobile order tickets. I wait patiently as the 10 min mark passed I politely asked if she'd be able to squeeze my order in between mobile orders as I am on my way to work. I wasn't rude it demanding, it was a simple question. She could of said yes or my apologies mobile orders take precedent and that would of been fine but instead she looked at me rolled her eyes and said I'm the only one here and then went to the back prep area and ignored me. We came here on a Sunday afternoon and it was completely empty except for 2 people in line. The building is pretty large in size and decorated nicely with vibrant colors. This isn't the first time I've come in, and everytime I've come in, including this visit, there is no "welcome to Mezeh", or "hello how are you"..I shrugged it off the first 2 times, and just can't shake off the lack of welcome attitude given off by the workers here. I chose to make my own bowl..I chose mixed greens, basmati rice, chicken shawarma, turkish salad, crumbled feta, roasted corn, tzatziki, spicy harissa, and spicy feta dip. I was delicious! The flavors really come together so well! The pita bread was warm and soft. I chose the coconut mango drink. This is my 3rd time coming, and the bottom line is: food is outstanding! Delicious. We ate dinner here at 430PM. There was quite a mix here: the Good, the bad and the Ugly. Overall. The good: great selection of many Mediterranean foods. The Bad: not all were fresh, more later. The ugly: unclear directions/signage. E.g., I asked about a build your own bowl and was told I could try as much as I wanted, so I tried to, until I was stopped and told certain things would be extra. The Veggies. The Good. I loved almost all the veggies, and most were cooked well. The bad. A few were overcooked to the point of being dried out. My rice had grains as hard as a cracker, and the falafel, was very, very dry. The ugly. The caramelized eggplant, was straight up burnt. The Meats. I chose lamb, and it was delicious, and I was about to also try to chicken shawarma, but was advised it was spicy (ty for the warning). The bad, none. The ugly. None. Desert. I know better than to try prepackaged baklava as it is usually old. However, my wife wanted to try it. The good: none. The bad. It was extremely dry, and barely tasted like baklava. The ugly. It had a 'best by' date stamped on it of 3 months in the future. Had the portion been sealed, it may have lasted a week, had it been in the cooler, maybe a few months, but it was neither. I gave this 4 stars because some of the food was fantastic. I love Mediterranean food so may return, but will come earlier in the day to try to catch it fresher and will carefully pick and choose what I get. read more

Once again. Service is absolutely terrible at this location. I called in 30 minutes till close just make sure of what time they closed. Then placed my order online, just to be told they were out of what I ordered. Then I obviously had to wait for another order if I wanted to eat. Didn't it want to comp me a drink when I asked. If you don't want orders after a certain time just say you aren't cooking anymore when I talked to you. Only reason I continue to deal with the worst service ever is because I enjoy the food. Service is ok-ish, kinda skimpy but whatever, the inclusion of pita with your meal is nice. The interior is nicely decorated and the music sets the mood. Went there between 3pm-4pm 6/29. We observed two female employees sitting outside at the tables smoking. A male employee was at the grill when we went in line. We waited several minutes to place an order. As we were waiting, I couldn't help but notice several health code violations. Empty cardboard boxes on the floor; personal handbags on the counter along with a bag of personal candy; the seating area was a mess with dirty floor, tables and window sills. Bathroom was dirty. Listen management....inspect what you expect! The food is delicious, but your house needs some deep cleaning! As we left, the 2 female employees went back outside to talk and smoke again.
