I love Mezah and I was so happy to see a location in my family's hometown. The cuisine is Mediterranean with an assembly line type of format, similar to Chipotle. I like building a bowl with Chicken Shawarma, plenty of veggies, rice, tzatziki, and a side pita. This is a grab option for grab-n-go meal options. You can order easily on the app and have your lunch or dinner ready for pickup. The restaurant itself is super nice inside. It looks like a high end sit down restaurant! So you can definitely enjoy your meal there in any of the high top, both, indoor or outdoor table sections.

Delicious tasting food. The food was easy to order. I ordered the bowl with rice, salad, and a lot of toppings. The lemon salad dressing was delicious. After I placed my order. There was a crowd of people coming in. I enjoyed my meal very much I will return.

For my first time eating at Mezeh Mediterranean Grill, I was blown away by the immense flavors of the food and the awesome service by the staff. I decided to order a Chicken Wrap while my boyfriend ordered a Chicken Bowl. For my Wrap, I chose brown rice, chicken shawarma and a host of toppings such as spicy hummus, cucumbers and tomatoes, roasted corn, and olives and topped it with the harissa sauce. The server actually helped me decide what would be best to add to my Wrap since I wanted it to be a little spicy and I thought that was super nice of him to do. For the Bowl, he chose kale, chicken kebab, cucumbers and tomatoes, purple cabbage, spicy hummus and spicy feta dip among other items and topped it with an abundance of harissa sauce. A freshly baked pita was served with the Bowl. The food was absolutely amazing and tasted very authentic due to the fresh herbs, spices and ingredients. The specialty drinks were also just as great and I loved that they were self serve. I decided to create my own drink and mixed the Berry Watermelon, Strawberry Lemonade and the Mango Punch together and it was great, I highly recommend trying it lol. We did try the Baklava but it was very sweet and didn't taste fresh at all so unfortunately we didn't enjoy it. The restaurant was very clean and the decor was fun and vibrant. We really enjoyed our visit and will probably be returning the next time we're in the area.

I stumbled upon this place when I was leaving out of Mission BBQ. It's definitely in a cut of a new shopping strip. As I walked in, I notice how big and spacious the place was. I didn't get any greetings or welcome from the staff. They just looked at me -_- Anyways... the music was so loud, I basically had to yell and point my to what I want for my bowl. There's a lot of options to create your unique bowl or pita sandwich. Everything was fresh and the sauces and hummus was tasty! The cilantro hummus was my favorite. There's hand sanitizers everywhere (some empty) and spacious seatings. There's also outdoor seatings.

I absolutely love the place..I forget it here. They have changes their take out bowl which make it hard to eat out with out a mess. Maybe next time I will dine in for lunch. All the goodies..okay bye time to GRUB!

I love my Mediterranean food, and this is one of my favorite fast casual options in Hampton Roads. I love the build your own bowl option--tons of healthy choices and the food is always fresh. I usually get the chicken kebab rice bowl with arugula and load it up with toppings. Friendly staff, nice indoor and outdoor seating, and the food is consistently great.

I like Mezeh more than Cava. More options, they taste better to me, and they really load it up more for the price. Multiple meals for one definitely.

I've eaten my fair…read moreshare of Indian food in several states and Canada and this was the best, most authentic food I've had. We arrived around 8pm and were seated immediately. The restaurant wasn't completely full but that soon changed with several families coming in right after us. The restaurant is on the smaller side, clean and decorated well. We went on a Saturday night and ordered off of their special weekend menu. We definitely over ordered. There were 3 of us and we had enough leftovers for a full meal the next day. We ordered the masala cheese dosai, butter chicken, nalli gosht biryani and malai lamb chops. The nalli gosht is the goat shank biryani, we got the order for 2 people, it comes with 2 goat shanks on a mountain of fluffy fragrant basmati rice. The goat was tender falling off the bone, seasoned to perfection in a spicy masala paste/sauce. We got it at level one spice but it tasted spicer. We didn't mind because the spice just added to the flavor. It was so good! We also got the usual butter chicken which turned out to be not so usual because like everything else we tried, the spice combo and depth of flavor just turned it up several notches. The masala cheese dosai was a great start to the meal and was fun to eat with our hands. The lamb chops were a last minute addition and so worth it. The chops were cooked perfectly in a flavorful sauce and served with a veggie slaw. Overall, we LOVED everything we tried and would definitely recommend Biryani Hub. The only suggestion we have would be to serve cold water or offer ice. Our waiter brought a bottle of water to the table with glasses but the water was more room temp. Other than that, it was a great experience.

Biryani Hub Delivers a Flavorful Introduction to Authentic Indian Cuisine…read more I finally made my way to Biryani Hub for lunch, conveniently located at 5745 Virginia Beach Boulevard, tucked just behind the Waffle House. For weekday diners, the restaurant offers a smart selection of combination platters--an ideal entry point for anyone looking to explore a range of traditional Indian dishes in a single sitting. I chose the Chicken Platter ($15), which features three distinct preparations, two generously sized pieces of naan, and a dessert to round out the meal. It's a well-structured offering that balances variety with portion size. The standout was the Chicken Dum (bone-in), prepared in the traditional dum style--slow-cooked and sealed to lock in flavor. The result is deeply aromatic, rich, and layered in a way that feels unmistakably royal. This is not rushed food; it's deliberate, composed, and worthy of the word "luxury." Equally impressive was the Special Chicken (boneless)--tender pieces marinated in a proprietary blend of spices, then cooked with fragrant basmati rice in layered fashion. Each bite carried trapped aromas that unfolded gradually, delivering both depth and balance without overwhelming the palate. One detail worth noting: the clearly defined spice scale (1-7). I selected level 4, labeled "Indian Mild." While approachable, it still carried a noticeable heat--enough to remind you that you're experiencing authentic seasoning rather than a toned-down version. Too often, restaurants rely on heat for its own sake--spice without structure. That's not the case here. At Biryani Hub, the heat is deliberate, built into layered flavor profiles that are difficult to fully describe and far better experienced firsthand. What stood out most was the depth of flavor across the board. Each dish brought its own identity, with spices working in harmony rather than competing for attention. For those already familiar with Indian cuisine--or anyone curious to step into it--Biryani Hub is a worthwhile stop. It's the kind of place that rewards exploration while supporting a local business doing things the right way.

We were greeted by a helpful employee and the owner. They helped us decide what to order. We ordered the grilled chicken platter with a side of falafel. We made the mistake of not expressing that this meal was to-go. Another customer walked in after we ordered, placed his order (a wrap) and got his meal on a tray within 5 minutes. He ate in the restaurant and by the time he ate and left, our food still wasn't ready. It was only us and the customer that came in after us and ordered a wrap, so it wasn't busy. When we did get the food, it was tasty, hot, and tasted fresh. The food and the service was good, just express if you want to-go upfront and if you're eating in, prepare for the possibility of a wait. Update: We last went here a couple of months ago. We passed by on 6/22/25 and they are now permanently closed. Hate to see that! Hopefully they will be able to reopen at another location.

They do use paper plates and plastic utensils, but again, it is fast-casual. They have a vegetarian side of the menu and then a side with meat. The only meat they offer is chicken. We got the Chicken Biryani and the Chicken Curry and garlic naan. We asked for it to be VERY mild. The flavor was all very good but I would not call it mild lol that's probably my only complaint - it was a little too spicy for me. I have been to other Indian places that offer American mild, medium, hot AND indian mild, medium, hot. I think they realize that they are able to tolerate a lot more spice! I would say my meal was probably "Indian" mild. I realize spice is subjective, and I am a wimp! They offer a variety of different drinks in their cooler and they have a filtered water station. They do not offer ice at all. Our food came out very fast but was still PIPING hot and fresh! The customer service was excellent. The gentlemen at the counter was extremely nice! During our meal one of the women from the kitchen came out to use the restroom but stopped to ask us how our meal was and to let them know if we needed anything. Very sweet people! I would absolutely recommend this place for a flavor, service, and If you like spicy!
