The reason Los Compadres is my favorite Mexican restaurant in the area isn't because of any one dish they do incredibly well, but because everything I have ever had there has been considerably better than the average Cedar Rapids Mexican retaurant. So, if there's one particular item you're obsessive about, I think it's possible that you could find a place that does that item a little better, but if you're eating with multiple people or you like to try a variety of things, I would highly recommend Los Compadres.
