Truly authentic delicious Mexican food and amazing service. 100% the best Tacos I've had outside Mexico. Personally I spent 18 months traveling in Mexico, and these tacos were somewhere near the top. The flavor was perfect, portion sizes spot on, and most important: Friendly service! Prices were reasonable as well. This isn't a "tex-mex" place, this is legit Mexican food. Home made tortillas. Great spicy salsa. Seems like new owners (?) are working on some exterior building upgrades so the exterior patio will be even nicer in the future. With that being said: They were super dog friendly which was perfect for our road-trip dinner stop-over. Humans had Tacos and Mole Chicken Enchiladas, and authentic home made Horchata - dogs finished their own dinner they brought along. Will 100% visit next time we come up/down the mountain. Driving back from Kenosha trail and decided to check out this place since it was on the way back and it had 5 stars. Honestly it was okay... nothing special about the food or drinks, my Jamaica tasted watered down and I got the pollo asada burrito and there was barely any chicken in it just just mainly rice, beans and veggies... not exactly what I was expecting. Incredible food. I live outside Conifer and we have a few restaurant gems and this is one. Such amazing Mexican food. This place isn't just good for the area, but one of the best Mexican food restaurants in Colorado imo. It was good under the previous owners, but it is absolutely amazing under the new owners. Heard great reviews so I thought we'd give it a try. First of all...very friendly staff and GREAT chips and salsa. The bean dip that they bring with the chips had a very funky taste that I didn't care for however. The Chile relleno was pretty good, but I found the chicken burrito pretty bland and they charged $6.45 to smother it in green Chile. I don't think I've ever been to a Mexican restaurant that charges for smothering a burrito or if they do, they have the cost for it listed on the menu. If I had known it was a $6.45 up charge I would have ordered something different. The green Chile was mediocre at best. Also, it took an extremely long time to get our food. The best thing about this restaurant was the chips and salsa and the friendly staff, but I won't be back. read more

Nothing in the food had a look of freshness to it. The refried beans are lumpy instead of smooth and grey to light beige and milky looking. I finally just ordered a couple of mole chicken enchiladas to go with no sides. We open it up to see a rectangular foil tub filled with a glossy dark gravy with sesame seeds and melted cheese. I took one bite and it was the best I had ever had in an enchilada. I ran down and my skeptical son actually trusted their perfection enough to to a bite that like mine, came out easily in a perfect square onto his fork. I watched grinning as he had a love at first bite moment of bliss. I'd like to know what they'd charge for an order of ten to go and nothing else yet. Also how the beef compares. Ambiance needs more finess, good music, and staff great. Prices too high. read more

The food was absolutely delicious. Service was excellent, the staff anticipated our needs and the food was served hot and plentiful. Spicing was to order and special dietary needs were no problem. We went after church with 7 friends and were all very pleased with our selections and the place was so clean and welcoming. We all agreed that we would be back and that we would let our friends in on this fine Mexican restaurant so near to Windy Point/Conifer. The house margaritas are top notch (especially 2 for 1 during happy hour!) The wait staff treats you like family and the owner, Alberto, is often roaming the restaurant checking on his guests. Four adults went there for dinner. We ordered four different entrees and all of us thought our food was delicious. The owner came to the table to greet us and ask if we liked everything.
