We love this place. The food is fabulous. The servers are very friendly and attentive. Meals are reasonably priced. I got the California Burrito ($16.95), which is my favorite. Hearty portions. Comes with plenty of rice and refried bean. We went on a Saturday evening around 6pm. Fairly crowded but no wait. Great atmosphere. Ample parking. We go here often. Highly recommend if you like Mexican food.

Broken up fish taco

This used to be our go to for Mexican but sadly all the food has gone downhill. Their queso is not smooth, creamy and spicy anymore it's just melted cheese. The fish taco was actually disgusting with a broken up piece of frozen fish and a TON of onions, the chicken taco was so dry it was inedible. There chicken used to be stewed with veggies but not any longer. And the drinks!! I hardly ever drink and usually 1 margarita gets me buzzed I had 2 and felt nothing, it was all juice. Everyone at my table ordered different drinks and not one drink tasted like there was any alcohol at all. We would have had better Mexican at Taco Bell. Like I said we have been going there for years but we will never go back with the food and drinks being that horrible. Taking recommendations for a better local Mexican place!

Had a wonderful time here celebrating a friends birthday. The staff was friendly and the food was great. The vibe was chill. Definitely recommend this place for a fun filled evening/night with the crew. If you're NOT to hungry, then share a platter. They are definitely big enough for two people.

Remnants of the pork tamale. The tamale that once was.

So, after grocery shopping and refilling the cabinets and fridge, I realized it's TUESDAY, and I didn't grocery shop for tacos. Dumb, I know! I need to remedy this. I search Yelp and Google for local spots; I needed a place that closes late. I work until 8:30p, and most places close at 9 or 10. According to Yelp, they close at 10. According to Google, they close at 11. I took my chances, and am so glad I did. I ordered tacos (of course!), one chicken and one ground beef, with onions and cilantro. While I don't like making alterations (unless it's an allergy), they were able to accommodate, without issue. I love that. I also ordered sour cream and guacamole on the side. I personally like salty guac, so I would add salt, but it was definitely good as it was; adding salt is just my own personal preference. I also ordered a pork tamale, per Tino, who is the best bartender! I have to say, the tamale was my favorite, and believe me, it was a hard choice. EVERYTHING was so freaking good!! I also enjoyed two drinks, a Paloma and a gran gala, both delicious and well balanced. Not too sweet and not too strong; just good! Tino was able to advise me on the menu and all the options, leaving me confident about my order. I was given chips and salsa, complimentary, when I sat at the bar. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Tony. He was humble and appreciative of my business. You do not get service combined with food, like this. Often times, something lacks; not here! 5 stars. I'll absolutely be back and not just on a Tuesday when the tacos are $2. I absolutely look forward to trying other items on the menu. So glad I took that chance!! Also, it's after 10p, they're still open, and someone just walked in. The only pic I have is of the tamale plate, I scraped!! Embarrassing, but here you go!

Beautiful seating area!

Mexican Post is amazing. It is CRAZY that the stars are not much higher. I have been going to MP for 7 or 8 years and it has been consistently good. Tonight we tried the Sampler and the Burrito Yucatán and they were delicious. We shared a half pitcher of the house margaritas and they were delicious as always. The staff here is super friendly and fun, the food always hits the spot and the drinks are delicious and strong.

#10 combo. Burrito and enchilada with rice and beans. These are filled with ground beef.

I ordered 4 quesabirría tacos with the consommé and rice and beans. I sought this place specifically because it serves quesabirría since I've never had it. Quesabirría tacos - flavorful spiciness, nice amount of cheese compared to meat (lamb) served with the typical street taco fare of cilantro/onion mix, salsa verde (lightly spicy), and salsa roja (medium spicy) Lamb Consomme - this was like an au jous to dip the tacos into; cilantro, onions, chopped lamb, beans, and a few other ingredients. A great flavor that complimented the tacos. Rice - Spanish rice at its finest. It looks like it was made with a little bit of tomato paste, onions and salt. It tasted great, tender and not over cooked or crunchy. I put the salsa verde on it about halfway through. Beans - not crushed, blended or mashed like 99% of other Latin restaurants. The consistency was like a thick bean stew. I missed it with a little rice and the salad roja halfway through. Jarritos - tropical punch, my favorite. This little hole in the wall mom and pop place is just the type of restaurant I like finding and going to. Primarily a pick up and go place, it has 4 tables with a 16 person seating capacity. It has a small cooler with drinks and some chilled items to go and small display case of some Mexican pastries (which I didn't try). I'd go back because it was a good meal and I'd love to try the chorizo burritos and/or quesadilla.

I order from here all the time! Hands down the best tacos! So much flavor! Great price point!…read moreHighly recommend!

(On top of it, they refilled ours. ) guacamole is plentiful, and decorated nicely with garnish of radish. However, as others have said, it is bland. Not bad, but I have had much better. I had El Camino draft beer. Light, enjoyable. Portion sizes are big. Only one in our party got the entree, and half of that was for to go. Rest of us had couple of appetizer and they were sufficient for us. Chilli Relleno was delicious. What I liked was their attention to detail. We asked for quesadillas with jalapeños. They nicely integrated it in the filling, rather than just adding on top. Kudos to chef for such small detail. Will definitely visit again when we are in town.

The service was very friendly and efficient, with several different employees stopping to check in on us throughout the evening (without being overbearing). The complimentary chips and salsa were fantastic and clearly homemade. We ordered the guacamole as well (which came with another giant basket of chips), which I liked, though husband felt it was a little too lime-y. I ordered the pescado (fish) burrito, which was stuffed with rice, black beans, and fish and came with sour cream and pico de gallo on the side (would have preferred it already on there, but I guess they're trying to cater to pickier eaters?). I also added some of our guacamole for an overall delicious bite and a large enough serving that I was able to take half of it home. Husband ordered an al pastor burrito bowl, but wasn't a huge fan because of the texture of the meat. However, the bowl was otherwise quite sizeable and would likely be a great choice with a different meat. Also... the house margaritas are gigantic. We forgot to take a picture, but easily one of the largest margs I've ever gotten for $10 each. My husband tried the peach margarita, which was fresh and summery as well. Overall, would definitely go back! Happy to have a solid Mexican option on 202!
