Food arrived quickly. The place is very small & the lighting is bright. The tostones were delicious.

Finally - good tacos in the Sunrise/Plantation area! I dropped in by chance after seeing this restaurant mentioned in a Yelp email, and am so glad I did. The al pastor and lengua tacos were delicious, with super tender meat, a hefty portion of fresh herbs, and a fresh salsa verde hot sauce that tied everything together with a decent kick. Extra points for a good tortilla that held up to the fillings and didn't get soggy. There was a decent amount of seating inside for such a small place, and it seemed like they did a lot of takeout business. Staff were friendly and it felt homey inside, no loud performances or big crowds. I could easily see this becoming a go-to whenever I'm in the area.

This place was amazing. Authentic Mexican food! Large portions, fairly priced. Restaurant is pretty big and tables are constantly being cleaned.

Sope, taco de camarón, gordita - all good

Very nice find. Came in with my coworker for our lunch break. We easily found parking and received great service from our waitress, I think her name was Sandra. She was very friendly. The restaurant is small but has a homey feel. I love that you can just order a few random things and that they're all decently sized and not very expensive. I took full advantage and ordered three things- Taco de camarón (3.99), sope de pollo (3.99) and Gordita de carne (6.99). All three were very good. The shrimp in the taco was very fresh and tasty. The largest of the three was the Gordita. I also tried their fried yuca which comes with a delicious sauce. Very filling meal. If you're looking for a quick bite I would for sure come here. I love their prices and how generous they are with the protein. Great spot all around!

Their homemade green sauce is so fresh, very spicy, and very tasty!!!

First time here. It's a hidden gem! Located a couple doors down from Publix on Cleary and Nob Hill. Food was very delicious. Husband had the "cena completa" dish, it is a great value for the price. It was super tasty and we will definitely return. Bonus points for their house made green sauce. Super yummy, very spicy, and so tasty! They have lots of Mexican, Salvadoran, and even some Honduran dishes like baleadas on the menu.

Bien chido move along. Plantation has a new and better bite for Mexican food. This food tasted like if I went over someone's house and they cooked authentic Mexican food for me. Sooooo good. Conveniently located in the same shopping center as my son's daycare, I will be coming back here. The service was perfect. Our waitress was soooo nice. Restaurant looks like a little hole in the wall. Very cute. Food - amazing and cheap. We feasted a little bit, having quesidella, tacos and a steak. All of that came to like 30 bucks. And the food was soooo good! I will be coming back!

Came here with some friends for dinner. For starters the service is great! Our server Sandra was so friendly and patient with us while we ordered. The food was brought out pretty quickly considering we were a large group and we ordered a good amount of food. This is a family friendly, small restaurant. I'd say it's great for smaller groups and quick casual meals. The food was amazing! The steak tacos and gorditas were absolutely delicious. So flavorful and tender. The shrimp tacos are also a MUST! The tortillas are all handmade and taste so fresh. On top of the delicious food, the prices are amazing! This place will 100% be added to my rotation of restaurants I frequent thank you Sandra!

Cute new Mexican spot in a nice size plaza with parking to match. They have a traditional Mexican decor. Its bright, clean and staff was welcoming & friendly. I came in for take out. The menu is not huge but has a decent variety. I ordered the flautas. Nicely filled with chicken and crispy in the areas that didn't have all the toppings. Next time I'll ask for the toppings on the side so the flautas stay crispy. Would definitely stop in again to try their tacos.

Fried whole tilapia with red beans and rice and salad

Stopped by spur-of-the-moment to try this new place in the Publix plaza at Cleary Boulevard and Nob Hill. We ordered a pork sope, a beef sope, a chicken taco, and a whole fried tilapia fish dinner to share for two hungry people. We shared the sopes and taco while we waited for the fish to be cooked (about 15 minutes). I did not realize that they pour cilantro and raw onions on the top of their sopes and tacos, so I immediately had a problem. I am allergic to raw onions. So, we had to scrape the condiment off the first two items that came out and ask for it on the side for the third. The server seemed flustered and pointed out that I had not told her about my allergy. I had not. Because it didn't cross my mind that the items would come laden with raw onions. We fixed the situation quickly and proceeded to enjoy our food. The tortilla used for the taco is definitely freshly made from corn; it was delicious. I also enjoyed the sope. The clumps of pork on the sope was a bit fatty; it was definitely not shredded or ground. The chopped meat was not as flavorful as the pork. I was so taken by the homemade tortilla for the chicken taco that I failed to notice the taste of the chicken (which I guess is a good thing?). The whole fried fish was very well done. Yet, there were a few small spots where the fish inside was not cooked well enough. Otherwise, we added some of the house special salsa verde (green hot sauce) and some fresh-squeezed lime juice to create a tasty entree. The accompaniments included red beans and rice (sooo good) and salad. I definitely will be back for more beans and rice and more tacos. Maybe on a Tuesday when the Taco special is three tacos and rice and beans for $11.99. I also want to try the soup and the burrito. This is definitely a mom-and-pop place with a server who does all the out-front work and (what seems like) a single cook in the back. We were the only ones dining in, but there were at least four or five take-out orders during the hour or so we spent having dinner. And the server did get a bit harried. I don't think they would be able to handle a large crowd or a packed restaurant very well. But, baby steps. First they must draw the crowd. Also, the server did not speak English very well. I communicated with her using my Spanish. We did well. But even though I studied the language for five years, I still had to ask her to slow down (despacio por favor) because she spoke rapidly. She admitted that she needs to slow down, not just with her Spanish but also with English, which she is still learning. Tacos and sopes are about $3.99 each. Our dinner--including tax, tip, and surcharge for using a credit card--was about $35. Because of COVID, we have lost a few Mexican restaurants in Plantation. So, it's nice to see a new decent one has popped up.

1 Fish and 1 Shrimp Taco (with pico de gallo and cilantro)

This small and very unpretentious 'mom & pop' restaurant is slightly hidden. It's located in the Publix plaza on Cleary and Nob Hill, a couple of doors from Clean Juice. I have thought of trying this place every time I pass by when shopping at Publix (used to be a Stix Chinese restaurant), and after reading some reviews, we decided to give it a shot. It was a weeknight and there were only two patrons (Publix employees) dining in and I wondered if that was a bad sign. Nope, don't let it fool you! The prices for the tacos were great at just under $4 each, slightly less if you order 3+ of the same. We ordered five tacos (3 carne, 1 fish, and 1 shrimp) and 1 beef Gordita (it's ground beef and more than the tacos). You can definitely tell that they make their own tortillas! What a big difference that makes! The green sauce they provide with your tacos is also delicious and you can tell it's not from some bulk container from Costco. There were slightly too much pico de gallo and diced onions on my shrimp and fish tacos, but they were delicious. The Gordita was flavorful in a lightly fried outer shell, but was a tad too greasy (dripping orange grease), although it didn't stop me from devouring everything! The bill, with tax, came to under $30...Whoa! IMHO, that's a bargain! My bill at TacoCraft would've been much higher, and it would've been a longer wait (for both service and food)! My son can be picky about his tacos, but even he enjoyed the carne tacos. I'm SO glad we decided to try this place! The service, food, and wait time were all on point! I love supporting good local family businesses whenever we come across one and will definitely return to try other menu items! Just an FYI, they don't offer free chips and salsa (it is available for purchase) and they do charge a small nominal fee for using a credit card.

Beef Burrito very tasty and packed full with rice & beans. Only thing missing condiments.

The quesabirria was better than the tacos, but the birria sauce just looked and tasted like oily water. The steak tacos are a favorite, but was unfortunately not mine. The steak was chewy and you weren't able to taste the truffle chimichurri. The tacos were also filled with oil. We gave it the benefit of the doubt and thought it may be some sort of sauce but confirmed that it was indeed oil when it started dripping out of the taco. The table next to us was dealing with the exact same thing and kept asking their waitress for updates. Every single time they were told "10 more minutes." At one point, we were told the kitchen had prioritized takeout orders over the customers dining inside, despite multiple tables waiting over two hours for food. Our waitress was also extremely inattentive. During the entire 2 hours we sat there, she only came back once after taking the initial order. No updates, no checking in, nothing. The most disappointing part was my daughter waiting two hours for a meal she never even received. Still an attractive interior. Two very nice servers were on the floor. We just missed lunch so the dinner menu was our only option. They brought the complementary chips and salsa (which some places now have the nerve to charge for), it's a tasty salsa. Ordered some "fresh made" guac (it better be!) which was made better with a few squeezes of lime juice. We decided to try the combo platters since the kitchen was new and it's a good test. My dining companion opted for shredded beef burrito and a ground beef chili relleno. I went with a ground beef tostada and shredded chicken enchilada. With the requisite beans and rice. Look, it was good food, not knock your socks off cuisine. I mean we consciously chose Mex-American so that's on us. The menu offers some other interesting options that I'd order next time. My only gripe is a dry enchilada. I like them swimming in red sauce and cheese which this was not. Otherwise, as I stated, nothing to complain about.
