Also something to notice: there are different platforms for trains going south vs trains going north, so need to pay attention to be on the right platform (they are not connected). In our case, we needed to go South so the southern most platform was the right one to be on.

Departures were both on time but both arrived a little past the expected arrival time so take that into consideration when trying to plan your day. The bus is clean, has charging outlets at very seat and there's a restroom on board. They are also able to accommodate wheelchairs as there is a lift at the back of the bus. My one complaint is the ride from Houston to Austin had a significant amount of vibrating for the entire ride. Think - that feeling when you first get a flat tire. It was pretty hard to try to nap. Otherwise, no complaints. I would do this again.

But it's still a 4 star service, and when my car is out of action I'm very grateful for it. I wrote 2 different reviews for this, so here's the longer other one. Respect my transit authority! I know some would say I would be better off riding the Metrosexual Transit Authority, but I felt comfortable on this bus service too. Not literally comfortable though, because holy lack of suspension, batman. I've had a few bad experiences since the first time I thought Houston buses deserve a 5 star rating, but I'm still very grateful for them every time my car isn't working. Like I said before: Still one of the better bus services in the country. I've ridden NYC, LA, DC, Boston, Miami, and a ton more I can't even think of, and Houston is up there with my favourites. It's not as cheap as I think it should be, but then most bus services in major cities aren't. One of the best features of the Houston Metro is the awesome train that runs from the University area to downtown and if they could expand that to other parts of the city it'd be even better. Also Houston could use a really extensive subway system to ease the loads on its overstuffed highways. Most of the drivers are super friendly (and hit on my friend a lot, but then her pink hair is part of it), most of the buses are on time, and they send text updates to tell you when the bus is going to be along. I did have a couple of very aggressive bus drivers lately, but that's to be expected.

This was, without question, one of the most relaxing rides I've had in a long time . Cost & Convenience Being able to save on gas and let someone else do the driving was a huge plus. Round‑trip cost: $309 Early booking: Normally $79 each way The value for the experience is undeniable. Arrival & Safety Measures Once I arrived, the bus driver greeted me warmly and loaded my luggage into the bottom storage compartment. The attendant then requested my name and license for safety and rider identification. I was very impressed with the security measures -- it felt organized, professional, and reassuring. The attendant even offered to carry my bags onto the bus, allowing me to focus on boarding safely and watching my step. That level of care is rare and deeply appreciated . Seating Experience I was escorted to my seat, and while the service was exceptional, I was disappointed to find the table broken. The attendant tried to fix it -- even using a phone charger to weigh it down -- but it wasn't enough. At this price point, the seat should have been inspected and repaired beforehand, especially knowing a paying passenger would be assigned to it. Still, the attentiveness and effort were commendable. Why I Choose This Service One of the main reasons I continue choosing this company is the way the attendant takes care of passengers and the smoothness of the ride. Pickup and drop‑off locations are both safe and convenient: Hyatt Regency - Houston DoubleTree Dallas Airport Both hotels have staff who are consistently kind, welcoming, and helpful. Amenities That Feel Like First‑Class Travel This service offers rounds of amenities that make the journey feel like a luxury flight on wheels: 1st Round - Comfort Essentials Eye mask Ear stoppers Toothbrush Eyeglass wipes Facial tissue 2nd Round - Cozy Comfort Full‑size gray Sherpa blankets (so soft and warm) 3rd Round - Snacks Galore Kettle chips (3 flavors) Popcorn Oreo cookies Lorna Doone shortbread cookies Nuts (3 flavors) Fruit bars 4th Round - Drinks Soda Wine 5th Round - Meal Options Choose one meal: Turkey wraps (3 variations) Salads (3 choices) 6th Round - More Snacks & Drinks Because luxury means never running out. 7th Round - Warm Towels A refreshing touch to end the ride. Throughout the entire trip, there was constant trash pickup, keeping the bus clean, tidy, and comfortable. Seating Layout & Comfort Outlets at every seat Seats are large, plush, and recline Right side: single‑row seating for privacy Left side: two‑seaters, but spacious enough that you barely notice someone beside you This setup makes the ride feel personal, peaceful, and incredibly comfortable. Final Thoughts No other service out here meets passenger needs at this level. From safety to comfort to amenities, this truly feels like luxury living on wheels. Despite the table issue, the overall experience was exceptional, and I look forward to riding again. Final Thoughts No other service out here meets passenger needs at this level. One area I would love to see improved is the brand of water provided onboard. While the overall service is exceptional, the water brand Niagara is known as one of the lower‑rated options on the market based on multiple water‑quality analyses. For a service that prides itself on luxury, comfort, and premium amenities, upgrading to a higher‑quality water brand would further elevate the experience. A small change like this would align perfectly with the high standards already set and ensure every detail, even the water, reflects the level of excellence passengers have come to expect.
