Discount Tire removed my two front rims and installed my factory rims because I wanted the two front rims to match each other while that chrome rim were being repaired. On March 18th, 2026 my friend took my rim to LoneStar Wheel Repair and the repairs were completed, we paid $154.50 and picked up the rim up on March 20th. On March 20th 2026, Discount Tire removed the factory rims, replaced the chrome rims, put the repaired rims on the opposite side. On March 21st 2026 when I got in my car the air was back down to 19, so I called LoneStar Wheel Repair, but they close at noon on Saturdays. So, I went back to Discount Tire they checked the tires/rim and it was determined it wad still bent and needed to be repaired again. On Monday, March 23rd, 2026, I called LoneStar Wheel Repair and was told to bring it in. This time I drove over and when I got out of the car, the Owner, immediately guaranteed me that it was a different rim. Even before she liked at it. The, owner insisted they "mark" all repaired rims but refused to let me see these so called markings. Instead of even trying to understand what happened, she accused me of damaging another rim within less than 24 hours and blamed "the way I drive." Completely unprofessional! They refused to take responsibility and charged me another $154.50 to fix what was clearly the same rim. No accountability, no customer service, and very disrespectful treatment. The curb rash (some of it severe) on my wheels disappeared, and now they look better than new, thanks to the UV-resistant clearcoat he applied to protect them from our hot Texas sun. An additional plus is that his truck-mounted equipment includes a generator, so the customer doesn't have to provide electricity. What happened to me should never happen to anyone else. This nightmare began in **May 2024** when I brought my car to Rick's Tire & Auto for an oil leak repair. I paid **$1,600**, expecting a resolution. Instead, they returned my car in worse condition. The timing was off, and my car even completely shut off on me while at a car wash. I immediately called them, returned my car, and was informed by Jeremy that my drive belt had shredded. They charged me for a new belt. After this "repair," my car still wasn't fixed. The timing was still off, and my car broke down again. A different mechanic inspected my vehicle and confirmed that the original oil leak had **never been fixed**. The leaking oil was causing the drive belt to shred repeatedly. I went back to Rick's, demanding a refund. By this time, I was dealing with a new manager, **Dante**, who told me I needed "recorded proof" that the issue wasn't resolved. I took my car to **Grand Prairie Ford**, just down the street. They confirmed the oil leak was still present and provided documentation. When I returned with this proof, Dante said he needed to speak with his regional manager. After some back and forth, they offered to fix my car again and cover Ford's diagnostic fee. Against my better judgment, I agreed. They kept my car for **three weeks**. When I finally got it back, they had fixed the oil leak, but now they claimed I needed a new engine. To make matters worse: - My battery was completely dead, and they couldn't explain why. - My gas tank was on **0 miles to empty**. - The interior of my car was filthy. - A dashboard compartment lid was broken. I decided to take my car home and never return to Rick's Tire & Auto. I didn't even make it **five minutes down the street** before my car of 10 years broke down completely in the middle of an intersection. Dante made me wait over an hour for assistance and refused to pay for a tow truck. He had the audacity to tell me he was "going above and beyond. To top it off, they didn't even reimburse me for the diagnostic fee as promised. " My car, which I'd driven for **11 years without major issues**, had been trashed by this shop. I brought it in working, and now I can't even drive it. Their incompetence and negligence have forced me into additional costs and frustration. All I wanted was a proper repair--or at least my money back. Instead, I'm left with a ruined vehicle, disrespect, and endless headaches. Took it home, put the spare on, drove the tire to Mo @ Kings Customs. I asked if it can be safely repaired. They said by either methos, patch or plug. Plug is more labor, but I asked for a patch. Less than 20 minutes I was back on the road, tire repaired, good for another 50k miles. I told my son long ago to always trust Kings Customs, never bother with Discount Tire.
