Today was the last visit...they ruined a 1200$ Loro Piana cashmere winter coat of mine I need for a business trip to Boston this week. It reeks like a urinal cake now! When she put it in my car, she didn't even hang it on the hanger hook and it fell onto the floorboards--she just shut the car door and asked for my payment. Last summer, they lost a handful of very expensive items of ours in a drop off and she argued that we never dropped them off and that mistakes like that do not happen at Mitchell's. In our very next pickup, we received a men's shirt that didn't belong to us, so I took it right back to Mitchell's and she didn't even say thank you. About 3 months later, our missing items magically appeared in a pickup and she told us we wouldn't be charged for them since it was their error. This was our first visit at SpinXpress Laundry and I'm not sure there will be a second visit. The biggest issue was the amount of wash machines and dryers that were out of order or just plain broken. Not sure if this was an off day, but there shouldn't that many machines out of commission. It also didn't have many larger machines. The two I saw had laundry sitting there without someone manning the machine. The prices were slightly cheaper compared to the one we currently use, and they have more sitting space. But it wasn't very clean and some of the machines were smelly. Also, to add insult to injury, some of the seating area couches and seats were terribly worn and in need of repair.
