By far the cleanest and most streamlined laundromat I've been to. After moving and needing to wash clothes before ordering a laundry/dryer, I decided to stop by based on other Yelpers reviews. It did not disappoint! They have machines of varying sizes and the facility was tidy with places to sit while you wait. I was excited to see that while you do need to load money on a laundry card to start the machines, it's free to do so and they accept Apple Pay as a form of payment- sweet! Only gripe is that while there is a free complimentary access to Spectrum WiFi available, it's only for 30 min despite the website indicating they had free (unlimited) wifi. Do NOT RECOMMEND. I deposited $30. When I tried to use laundry card, it said $0 balance, but still charged my debit card. I was assured id be refunded within 24 hours. I had to deposit another $30. So was out $60 total, plus had to buy more detergent since I had already loaded my clothes, and soap into washers to later find out there was a glitch that took my money, but never loaded it into card. It's been a week now, and no refund. I emailed corporate, no response. I call the establishment, no answer. I live 40 minutes away in a different city. Smh. Avoid avoid avoid. read more

I have a huge comforter and cannot launder it in my washer or dryer. I usually take it to a place and olmos park but they were closed so I found this place as an alternative and I was so happy! The facility is impeccably, clean and visually appealing, and the staff is great. They were able to wash and dry my comforter same day with no hassle. Having recently moved and needing to wash lots.of bedding and comforters, I decided to stop by SpinXpress since it's right down the street. I was impressed at how spacious it is and that they actually have extra extra large machines and dryers! It's super clean and comfortable, with plenty of seating and tables to fold your laundry. They use a card system, which is great since I never carry cash. The cards are reloadable, and you get an extra $10 for every $20 you load on the card. The machine I used was $10 - it holds up to 10 loads. There's also a laundry bar where you can buy supplies if you run out or forget. They do full service laundry as well. This will definitely be my go-to for bedding and washable rugs! read more

This used to be my favorite laundry, clean, efficient staff, friendly & great customer service. It's still a great place EXCEPT THERE's NO A/C! I was here a couple of months ago and one of the sliding doors was broken/off its track. It was like that for a couple of weeks bf it was fixed. Now, it's the air conditioning! It's been out for a couple of weeks! Seriously? In July? How is it you can't get it fixed? The overhead fans are on, and the sliding doors are open, but it's as hot inside as it is outside! The attendant can't say when it'll be fixed, but I'm not coming back til it's fixed. C'mon! If you're not willing to fix it for your customers, think of your staff, working in 90 degrees for 8 hr shifts! read more

I dread going to the laundromat. The idea of waiting for hours while sitting around bored, staring at strangers was not ideal. First impression of SpinXpress........this place is huge! Machines seem new & really clean. We took a while to figure out how to turn the dang thing on. Come to find you need to buy a preloaded card. No more coins! We also loaded the detergent wrong -- when you flip the lid up the pictures show a certain way......can't explain it though. Luckily, the attendant on duty was extremely helpful, patient, and friendly. We notice her walking around wiping down machines after each use. We were able to get 5 big loads cleaned and dried in a matter of ~2 hours. The place had plenty of seating--- placed well (where you don't have to sit and look awkwardly at strangers). They even have an area where kids can sit and read books (and a claw machine-not free). Definitely would consider using this laundromat much more frequently in the future. NOTE: They only have about 2 machines that handle big loads, a handful of medium loads, and plenty with smaller loads. Same for dryers. But, there seem to be plenty so you don't have to wait around for others to finish their loads. Washers take about 30-40 mins. Dryers are about the same. Boy, have technology changed since I last went to a laundromat! No more coins, faster, more efficient machines...gotta love it! read more

I found myself needing to do 16+ loads to laundry and decided it would be best to take it to a laundry mat in order to be efficient and productive. I came in on Tuesday after work and Lauren was working diligently to keep the place spotless. And she did. Folding areas so clean you could eat off of them. Floors so clean that you didn't feel the need to rewash your clothes if a piece or two fell out. Lauren never slowed down or missed a beat. She was helpful, attentive, and extremely friendly. The following day I drove to two other locations because they were closer to where I was at or needed to go and none of the locations or employees met the standard that she set. I rarely use the laundromat but needed to use for some large and bulky items. Upon entering the facility I noticed that they use huge industrial type washers and dryers, which helps with load size (up to 100 pounds) and time (roughly around 22 minutes). The staff member, Brandon, was super helpful and even helped load my items into the washer, he continued to help until my washing was done. I would definitely recommend location and services here. read more

My husband and I haven't been to a laundry mat in years but we were pleasantly impressed with the washer and dryer's cleaning performance. On a side note, they offer free popcorn! Yum!!! This is by far the BEST laundromat I have ever been to in my life! Annabelle was on duty. She was as outstanding as the facility was itself. I loved this place starting with the automatic open door. When you're carrying in all of the comforters and pillows to super clean it all and your arms are full, even the doors matter. I did not know anything about how you pay so I asked Annabelle. She went with me to the payment machine and told me what to press to buy and load payments onto the card. It is easy to use. The facility and machines were sparkling clean and even smelled good. the bathrooms were just as clean. I told Annabelle the sign outside should read "The Best Laundry " not just "A Better Laundry." Never time I'm bringing all of my curtains to wash. I WILL go back!! read more

My dryer quit working. I had washed two loads of towels after an RV trip with our family, and now needed to dry them. This was the nearest laundromat ( I live in Bulverde). Since I had to go to a laundromat, I decided to bring a large bedspread to wash, rather than taking it to a dry cleaner. I brought coins, yet forgot my detergent. We have "scent" issues, so we use unscented. Soon learned they don't take coins, and looking behind the counter, it didn't seem like any of the detergent to purchase was unscented. There was no-one at the counter to help me. So, I put the bedspread back in the car. Came back in to try to figure out how their card pay system worked. When I came back in, an employee was behind the counter. She patiently explained that one had to put money on to one of their cards. If I used a credit card, it would be in $10 increments. She explained the prices of the driers. Seemed to me that I wouldn't spend $10. So she showed me how to use cash, and at the register, they can even convert quarters into paper cash. Got the driers started, then went back to the helpful employee to ask if they had an unscented detergent. She said they did not; but' showed me something called an Liquidless Eco Sheet that was the least scented they have. She opened a corner to let me smell the scent. Very mild and not perfumy. She also opened a small bottle of another mild scented liquid for me to smell. I chose the Eco Sheets. Very happy that my bedspread did not smell like perfume after the wash. I think the cost for washing the bedspread was $4.50, the Eco Sheets were a few dollars I think. The drying of the towels was about $3. The dryers have an option of adding 5 minutes for 25c increments. I started with the required amount to start of $1.75, and added some as I could clearly "see" when the towels were still wet. They drying of the bedspread was about $3.50 The place was clean, cool inside, the employee was VERY sweet, and VERY patient. Bathrooms were clean. Comfy, clean chairs, and a large table to "work" at. Many clean folding areas. Many clean, rolling baskets. The machines were large and EFFICIENT!If I ever need a laundromat again, I will return!! read more

I put the detergent in the wrong dispenser and she was incredibly nice about it and even hand scooped my detergent out best she could so that it mostly wouldn't go to waste she got me all set up and was just the sweetest person ever!
