Scheduling wise- very easy to schedule and responds to texts promptly. Luis showed up on time and was very nice. Unfortunately, the hair cut/grooming was horrible. My 11 year old maltipoo pebbles has never had a bad grooming experience until metro mutts. He completely shaved her and it was extremely choppy. My fiancé and I attempted to cut her hair a few months ago during the beginning of covid and did a better job. First experience with a mobile groomer, but when on lock down, you do what needs to be done. Luis was fantastic! He texted to let us know he had arrived, approached the door with gloves and a mask maintaining his social distance and took our two miniature dachshunds out to his truck. Luis groomed our 3 small dogs which one was left with a few mats and needed to be trimmed a bit more which we didn't specify prior so not his fault. We asked that he come back because he still had mats and needed to be trimmed more. He came back and was possibly rushing to get this done but ended up getting way to close to my dogs skin to cause bleeding. After I let him know what happened he said the dogs skin was like that and he didn't make a sound that he was in pain during grooming, just to put some neosporin on it- Not okay!!! I can't say enough about Louis! He was so accommodating with my schedule. And then so awesome with my Puppy who is high energy and never liked grooming. She looks great! Additionally I had her take her face a little shorter while I was standing there and he was so gentle with her, spoke to her and really calmed her down. Luis showed up about 30 minutes late which totally eliminates the convenience of having a mobile service. Additionally, he has to plug his van into an outlet which is not easy in an apartment complex. Finally, there is a sight language barrier as well which can complicate the discussion around the haircut. My dogs turned out with average (at best) haircuts, so there just wasn't a lot to like.
