One time my brother and his friends were in here and a vagrant came in and tried to rip the phones off of the displays, but the staff were pretty calm and stone faced about it (probably a common occurrence). I asked a lot of questions about the phone, protection, and accessories, and they explained everything in a way that actually made sense. I ended up getting a screen protector since it has life time warranty and in store help when it comes to ordering a replacement even though I knew I could find cheaper ones online. For me, the convenience and the help getting everything set up properly made it worth it. I also added protection after hearing what was covered, but I never felt like anyone was forcing it. I asked about it since I was already paying for apple care and when they explained Verizon insurance it was a lot better Overall, very professional team and probably one of the better experiences I've had upgrading a phone. As of the 12th it went into effect. I paid phone taxes and $150, total Came out to $376. I was suspicious of this, so I called Verizon to confirm the fee. Found out IT WAS NOT TRUE, and also went to another Verizon and was told it was not true. That fee does not exist for the Apple iPhone 17 Pro. I took the phone back and requested my money back immediately, same day, provided 30 minutes after my purchase. Of course the manager didn't know what to say, showed me what he googled, the $150 fee was actually $100, not $150 and took effect on 10th but again did not apply to the phone I was buying. He tried to back peddle and give me the phone for the at the price of phone tax. It was such a scam!!! He did not expect for me to do the research. So disappointed. This just made me sick. I paid restock fee and set up fees. They kept $90. Went to another Verizon and wa only charged phone tax. I totally recommend you go to the Verizon store near the West Covina mall. They are honest.

That's when they informed me that the phone was still attached to a payment plan on someone else's account. At the same time I took a phone for repair. They broke the screen, tore up the battery, and damaged some connectors inside. I walked in with a working phone and walked out with my phone In pieces. Thankfully I found a shop that was able to fix all of the damage and get my phone working $305 later. I told the worker SAL about what happened and his response was "I thought my tech knew how to fix phones". I told him what's done is done reimburse me for the damage that was done by the shop. He text me they would Zelle me the refund for the damage. They never send the refund so now I have to waste my time taking him to small claims. It's honestly not worth my time but it's about the principle of saying something will be done and then not doing it. I have the text where he acknowledges damaging it. He says he will get it paid for and he never did so wha was going to be $305 and everyone walks away fine now gets dragged out and fees get added to the small claim. Once I get paid the amount owed to me I will remove this review and go on my merry way.

She started off by saying if we get the phone that we should have come in two hours before closing, however another associate said we just needed an hour before closing. I wish i had read more of these reviews before going to deal with a scam artist. Went into this store only because it was closer to my home, mostly i would go to a corporate store found out this one was Franchise so it is all about getting you to sign for things you are unaware of. All i wanted was a lower bill, the manager of this store signed me up for a business account ok fine. Then he tells me here is a modem it is yours Free no charge, which was half true it is free the extra phone line is not. Plus, he failed to let me know i only had 90 days to return the modem. Thank goodness i turned down the phone or that would have been yet another line to pay for. It took me a long long time to get Verizon to let me return the modem. Then i try to access my account both online and on my phone but was unsuccessful as it said my company would not allow it i am my company. I went online to Chat with an agent, and they wanted me to repeat what i had repeated so many times i had it memorized. Another Manager joined in and she treated me like i was an idiot. Saying "so you expected a Free Modem is that correct", i told her i did not expect ANYTHING FREE IT WAS WHAT I WAS TOLD. So, i hung up with her and CANCELLED VERIZON, mostly due to this one store and the lack of customer service i have dropped Verizon. Upon getting back home from the other verizon there were two women i know, they asked why i looked upset. I told them about what i was going thru with Verizon and one lady says "the same thing happened to me". I asked her was it the Eastland store she said yes. Told me he gave me a Free watch i told him i did not want one, he convinced me it was mine free. Later when i got my bill for $175 it was for Two phone lines and i only had one phone". So, he is taking advantage of Seniors who live on fixed incomes. The next person i text will be the Attorney General's office and the AARP. But Apple or any phone they sell is PART of their system. This is part of a business account so I do not have the final decision on our service although I have been bitching and I think they are starting to hear me! I went to pick up my family nearby; they were shopping for new phones and service at T-Mobile and while I was sitting in the store waiting for them, I realized a VPN had turned on somehow and was causing the problems. Thank goodness I didn't have to go wait at the Apple store.
