I went to get my broken front screen fixed. I waited 30 minutes and returned to pick it up. Usually they ask for my passcode number to check and make sure the screen works, but when I tried to give Jesus the code he said it wasn't necessary. I payed $97.43 for my iPhone 11. I went home and noticed right away that my screen wasn't working properly. It worked for the most part but would sometimes not sense my fingers to use my screen to where I have to keep locking and unlocking my screen. I was told that I had 30 days warranty unless cracked then they would not service to fix it. I returned less than a week to fix my screen to get it to work again, but the guy there went to find a way not to fix my screen. The manager never came out to talk to me personally and hid in the back. Jose the manager apparently told him not to service my screen due to little wear and tear tiny small scratches which should not affect the screen from working at all. I notified the lazy guy that it wasn't working the same day I took it home. He said to take it home and return if it still wasn't working because he "supposably" opened it up but there was nothing wrong which was a lie. I returned 2 days later and Jesus said he would take care of it since he was originally the one who had put on my screen. The lazy guy who doesn't work at all came in and told Jesus not to fix my screen and called his manager again who told him to charge me $70 so they can replace the whole screen that they put on which was defective from the beginning. That was literally my only option they gave me because they weren't going to open it up again to simply get the same screen to work. I didn't want a new screen. I simply wanted them to keep the same one on and just open it up to fix whatever was left loose or the reason to why my screen wasn't sensing my fingers. He told me to come back again the next day for the 4th time and 4th day because the manager would be there so I could talk to him about fixing my phone as if I have all the time in the world to keep coming back to get the same answer over and over. That's just lazy and careless of the manager. They could of literally just opened up my phone to fix the issue and been on my way. Jose is a horrible manager. Please make sure to check your phones immediately in front of them after repair if you come here so this doesn't happen to you. I will never return here again. Money hungry management and employees who go on power trips.

I went in to get a SIM for my old phone temporarily since I'd left mine phone at a job, and rather than listen to what I needed, the guy just kept trying to talk me into buying a new phone. finally I said "I have a Galaxy S23 FE I'm NOT buying another phone I just need to use my old one until I go pick it back UP!!" and he begrudgingly dropped it. Then when payment was processed it was literally double what i've been charged in the past for the same issue and same circumstances. They also did not report the accurate charge to MetroPCS, nor did they record it in the MyMetro account. When I called to get it resolved the "manager" Chris R. gave me nothing but attitude and tried to justify the additional transaction, despite the fact that I'd just gotten off the phone with Metro Customer Service, verifying that I was due a refund and they had charged me incorrectly. I have been with Boost Mobile in total for roughly 4 or 5 years. I had to move for a job 9 months…read moreago and there was no coverage where I would be working, so I had to switch carriers. For medical reasons I had to move back to the city, so I switched back to Boost Mobile. Never had a problem until 03/12/2018 when I purchased a new phone for my failing 3-4 year old Boost Mobile phone. The phone was a ZTE brand. Not a bad phone itself, but I believe ZTE had an issue with their phones very recently that happened to many people over all carriers. After I spent the first day (03/12/2018) trying to troubleshoot/figure out the problem myself, I was unsuccessful so I brought the phone back to where I purchased the phone (5310 E Belknap St, Haltom City, TX 76117). They had to go through 2 levels of tech support to fix the problem. They had to re-initalize the phone to the network and disable call forwarding to voicemail (*720). It worked for 20 hours until I had to restart the phone, then it was doing the exact same thing as before; Unable to receive calls & texts. If the phone did work (usually after I dialed out), I would receive any texts and voicemails immediately after I placed a phone call. Sometime later it would go straight back to voicemail if someone called. I would test by calling from another phone line. I would also get anywhere from 10-20 of the same texts, anywhere from within seconds of each other to several minutes; another known issue of the ZTE phones at the time. So at least in my opinion, from my ZTE research and the way the phone was behaving, it was an issue with the phone itself, NOT the carrier and I told them that. Once they 'fixed' the phone and I had to reboot it, it started all over. I took it back in to try to get an exchange, since that is their company policy: 7 day exchange after date of purchase. I went back to the store, the guy at the counter did some quick research & found exactly what I stated above, there's a 'global' issue people are having with ZTE phones. He contacted customer support and they said the only thing they can do is for me to contact ZTE & get a replacement. He sends me to another store (2427 Azle Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76106) where a manager is at. The manager listened to my story, realizing I've had this phone for 3 days and it hasn't worked correctly. Instead of letting me exchange for a completely different phone (and paying any difference), he wants to do the 'exact' same thing & give it a day to see if it fixes the problem. He was also suggesting that I was doing something wrong to the phone, even though the 'fixes' I were trying I was getting from the boostmobile.com website. After 3 days I'm tired of troubleshooting and testing the phone to see if it still works like a normal phone, for it to eventually not work. I contact Boost Mobile via email from their website and it's just the typical generic response; a stall tactic to try to buy time so their 7-day exchange time flies by. I spent over $200 (including the $35/mo service) that day for a phone that doesn't work and they will not honor their exchange policy.

After I chose a phone, they set it up, made sure everything was working (by making and receiving calls and SMSs, taking photos and showing the results, playing music to make sure the speaker and volume controls all worked etc etc). Phone is in perfect condition, unlocked so works with the Mint SIM I bought, and I'm a happy customer. I paid $10 less than if I'd bought from a stranger on eBay, and have the security that it's supported by a real store. Highly recommend these guys.

And this all resulted from taking my less than a week old cell phone in for a screen repair because I accidentally dropped it and didn't wanna wait on my insurance to repair it. And don't listen to them about any sort of warranty on their work...They won't honor that either and will just use it as an opportunity to steal more working parts from your phone! Then, on top of that, when I brought the phone back in the next day to be looked at under their "warranty", I was asked to pay another $50 on top of the $55 for the screen repair because they "cleaned the inside" of my brand new phone. So now I'm waiting for insurance to send me another brand new phone after they called me and said they had never seen such blatantly obvious replacement of parts in a phone and it took me about 30 mins to convince them I wasn't in on it! Good customer service & fast service…read more Came in to get my phone screen fixed. Paid 190. Clerk threw in a new phone case and helped me pick it out. There were issues with the initial model he gave me; phone wouldn't process swipes, couldn't double tap to turn on. But he offered to have the model changed the next day free of charge. Good customer service and pretty quick work, took around 20 minutes each phone screen fix, would go again.
