So months back I wrote a negative review about the fact that these people got over 6,000 from my father to repair his 500SL and it hadn't been repaired, here is an update on that review. So they had the vehicle for nearly 8 months and it still ran the same if not worse. Then the mechanic for Sandar, Chris, shows up at our door stating he knows whats wrong with the car but Sandar wouldnt allow him to do the necessary repair and if my father was willing he would come to our home and do the repair himself. He guaranteed this would fix the problem we were having with the car. My father agreed. It was strange because he would come during business hours. When I asked him if he was still employed there he stated he was and Sandar knew he was there working on dads car. Huh I thought, maybe Sandar is just trying to obsolve himself of any responsibility..but it was not my call. He continued to come and make adjustments to the vehicle for approx. another 2 months. Getting money from my Dad for this or that part and his time. Car was still the same. He then stated he wanted to take it home where he could give it his undevided attention as he was raising a young son by himself. My father agreed to this. Understand that by this time Dad had so much into the car he didnt know what else to do. Well during a test drive (supposedly) Chris was in an accident. The drivers side front fender of my Dads immaculate car was demolished. Chris convinced my Father that he and Sandar used a guy off Gentry that could completely restore the vehicle to its previous perfect condition. He said this is the same guy Metric Motors always uses to do their painting of customers vehicles. It was to take a week. That was over 3 months ago. Apparently Chris wasnt at fault so my dad received a check from the other guys insurance for 5,000, which he handed over to Chris along with an additional 5,000 to repaint the entire car and put some snazzier wheels on it as well as dual carbs...Chris talked him into these upgrades as it was such a good deal cuz he owned all these items and had them in his garage. My Pops fell for it! Oh so now Chris says he doesnt work for Sandar anymore because he had to take a leave of absence due to the injuries obtained in the accident. We have not seen our car for another 2 mos. now! this is quickly becoming a stolen car incident. i know sandar is involved due to my negative reviews of his wanna be repair shop. if he actually fixs something it has to be very obvious and take little to no skill, however you will be charged an arm and a leg anyway. you know what the last thing Sandar had said to my father... "I don't know we just couldnt find the problem! after 6,000++ and a year of our time, i dont know how many parts and how much mileage added to dads car for "test drives" AND FINALLY HE ADMITS HES CLUELESS! To Sandur, Tyna and Chris, What a relief to find Metric Motors. We bought a 2009 Sprinter that had many issues and everyone could take money but no one could really fix it. Untill we got to Metric Motors. Chris is an excellent and thorough mechanic who has a love for sprinters that is really needed when trying to fix these sometimes troublesome vans. While the experience of trying to troubleshoot and fix our van was not pleasant for either ourselves or Chris and Sandur it was made bearable by their genuine willingness to help. They are super honest people and I will never take my van anywhere else. Added to all of this their quotes were always spot on and their rates incredible reasonable. At first I was instructed to bring my 1999 Dodge Durango here to metric motors to install a interlock device as a requirement to get my license back. Had a check engine light on so vehicle wouldn't pass smog, while installing interlock they check my engine light ,needed o2 sensor and also my brake light and turn signal weren't working not only did they fix all that for me to get car registered ,they had it smog for me and what what I thought was a fuse and my tail lights was actually wiring but they did that at no cost this is a great place to go above and beyond I'll never go anywhere else read more

Excellent experience. I could not find anywhere to take my Mercedes last minute for breaks. Everywhere I called they scheduled me two weeks out. Metric Motors got me right in the next day did a great job on my brakes and for a reasonable amount of money. They even kept my car overnight at no additional charge and put my grill back on that had popped out of place for free!!!! Tina the receptionist is down to earth, friendly the office is clean and the guard dog is adorable!! I highly recommend them. I finally found a good mechanic for my car!!! I brought my 09' Mercedes C300 in for maintenance without an appointment, I was extremely impressed with how polite and knowledgeable they were. Fast efficient service, I cringe when I bring my vehicle into shops because of the fear of being lead on and overcharged, not, in this case, they were honest, fair, and very much helpful with future possibilities that might need to be addressed. It's hard to find shops like these that respect the customer. I believe I found a home for my vehicle which is a sigh of relief, I recommend that you utilize their services. read more

What a great Mercedes service shop. We brought them our 2003 Sprinter Van in the middle of a road trip an this place was a god send. We were treated very well and they found a great and creative solution to our problem. They had us back on the road quick and I honestly felt that they just generally cared about taking care of our vehicle. The time eventually comes when replacing the catalytic converters becomes necessary. Mine chose a week before the registration (and smog check) were due as that time. Sandur got it done with time to spare ... and at about 1/3 the cost of what I understand the Mercedes dealer would have charged. I've known Sander at metric for about a year. I recently brought my older benz in for a violent shaking problem. My other mechanic said it was a $1000 transmission problem. Not so, and Sander diagnosed it correctly as broken motor mounts. Then he spent an hour on another day installing my badges and hood star at no charge! He has a spotless shop and he is a warm friendly and trustworthy fellow. Highly recommended. read more
