Cadillac would only consider replacing and re-programming the entire unit for nearly $2,500, and every other place that I called wanted no part of even looking at it.. I called him yesterday, explained the problem, and he not only fixed it today in less than 3 hours, but he used the replacement screen that I had purchased myself on Amazon, and charged me only a modest amount for labor.. He picked out unit after looking at the car and discussing my budget, and installed it in my driveway before I even had the car registered! He was able to work around my schedule to get it done in a timely fashion. The unit looks and sounds great and he was even able to get the steering wheel controls to work. At 1130 I ask for an update. The tech comes out & says he's working on it, Nissans are difficult & take 4 HOURS!!! I was shocked & said that's not what I was told when I made the appt & they knew what kind of car I have. Now I have no choice but to wait. Hoping the service is better than the scheduling.
