We recently moved to the area and I needed a locksmith familiar with re-keying antique locks. I put out a quote for several shops and Rich was the first to reply. (Note- two others were dodgey on giving straight answers and another was a no show) He fit us into his busy schedule and he came over the next day. Rich was open about the pros and cons of keeping the original lock- I trusted his judgement and while we got rid of the original he was able to re-key another antique lock I thought we'd have to replace. Rich put a lot of thought into selecting locks that complimented the style of our home and he exceeded our expectations as far as knowledge, craftsmanship and professionalism. Late both times and never called me until 45mins past the second appointment only after I called, emailed, and text to not bother coming at all. At a time when most service providers make you feel like they are doing you a favor my experience with Goodrich was quite the contrary. Goodrich was incredibly response late on a Friday evening, and with good cheer attended to my after-hours immediate needs. In my circumstances, I created a second peril of my own making that required Goodrich to return in a matter of 2 hours after their previous departure. They returned and courteously and professionally corrected my self-induced crisis. All the while they could not have been more considerate while attending to both calls. Goodrich Locksmith is now my only choice for locksmith needs. You do not have to second guess your choice to use Goodrich. They really should be your go-to for any locksmith needs. I can't even begin to Explain .. how my weekend lead me to have to call Goodrich Locksmiths to get me out a JAM !!! Short version : On a Friday night i accidentally stuck my house key in my Ignition (seriously don't ask) ‍, it got stuck ! Had to get a Bobby pin to shimmy the sucker out !! ... parked the car once i got to my destination. Fast forward Saturday morning to try and head home from my Bestie house in NJ and the car won't start !!!! Key won't budge to turn nothing !! Wheel locks ... I'm thinking *TOTALLY SCREWED !* how I'm i going to get home to BKLYN now ? My Friend found this place for me online .. I called and Rich picks up and i tell him my situation we even face timed so he can see what I'm talking about !!! about an hour later he's by my side trying to save me AND THAT he does !!!
