But do not go if you need to get out quickly. I stocked up on fresh fruits, veg, milk and bread for a guest who was arriving at O'Hare, thought I'd have plenty of time. All checker lanes were closed. This was around 6:30 pm, so not super late in the day. Self check-out was the only option. My vision is poor at night and I couldn't read the tiny print on the vegetables that were not scanning, at least half didn't scan and required me to manually enter the code + amount. Bread was unmarked, no code or anything, so I had to get a helper for that. So many items required me to ask for help. Then the machine would not accept cash beyond a certain point! So I had to switch to a card and the card machine wasn't working!! So I was late to the airport!! I feel bad for the one staffer in charge of helping on 4 self check-outs, was not her fault. Please staff at least one checker lane!! Otherwise, a positive experience although I'll most likely stick with Jewel, better prices and they always offer a checker lane. But this is a lovely store and the staffer was nice!!

They have a good selection of meats, fruits, and vegetables, as well as a sushi counter. They carry alcohol, pet food, cosmetics and toiletries. I buy my cat food here, because she is a princess and deserves it (*insert sarcasm and an eyeroll), but also frozen single serve meals for work, and baguettes, among a few other things.
