I love Method Coffee. I much prefer spending my money on noon franchised coffee shops. Method Coffee is never intimidated by my nonfat, no whip, white chocolate raspberry mocha with an extra shot requests and they recognize me as my "usual" in the drive through. They always have a smile on their face, the prices are good if not better than Starbucks and they are in a super convenient location for me. Okay experience. They have some comfy chairs to sit in and read. Was quite busy for the couple hours I stayed. The service was good. Had a black iced tea to drink. Was starving so asked the cashier what she recommended for baked goods. She suggested the cheese danish. It was actually super dry and not good at all. New to the area from CA. I've been trying to find a good coffee house, so I've been to all of them, to no avail, until I found Method Coffee. Not only do I taste coffee in my latte, but they sell single origin coffee from all over the world, as well. They have organic coffee! Very nice coffee house. Every experience that I have had here has been great. My only problem is the prices but they are equal or less to their corporate competitors. The owner is usually there and is very personable. I respect an owner who will do more than sit behind a desk or at home. Free WiFi, I think. Thy also have a highly rated open-mic night every other Saturday evening. read more

I like a good espresso drink. I tweeted out to my AZ friends and they recommended this place. I'm glad I went. Pros: They have a nice staff. Friendly and fun. Also, unlike so many coffee places these days they asked if it was for here or to go and when I said for here, they gave me a real glass, not a plastic cup with a lid and a straw. I got an iced coconut mocha which was really good. A little strong but not bitter. Also wasn't overly sweet. Atmosphere was nice. Cons: It's a little small for the sitting area for dining in but not any smaller than your normal sized Starbucks. The chairs are all wooden so they aren't going to be the most comfortable for an extened computer work session but that is a very small gripe. I have only visited Method Coffee once since changing over from the former Yellowleaf Coffee. This is a locally-owned shop & one-of-a-kind. At first I was not too impressed by Method... until I got my drink which was delicious & absolutely perfectly made. Perfect flavor, perfect temperature, perfect texture. I watched how fluidly the baristas worked, even with a busy drive-through. They were ridiculously friendly, & on our way out brewed a special vacuum-pot which looked like a fancy science experiment & tasted awesome. Highly highly recommended by me! read more

This coffee shop has an great vibe, probably a result of the very amiable staff and the interesting decorum. The pictures (painted by local artists) on the wall are always changing, and the leather chairs in the corners are great for pushing through those last few chapters of unreadable homework. The owners are often around, and you can tell that they have a legitimate appreciation for both coffee and those who produce it. Love open mic night and it's proximity to the youthful vibe of ERAU. I'm a student, and have gone to pretty much every coffee shop in the Prescott and Prescott Valley Area. However, the one that is and has been the most consistent is always Method. Method makes great beverages, and I've never had something there that I didn't like (except the one time that I got tea, but that's because I spilled the tea on myself, and it was very hot). Their employees are all hip and friendly, and the music is wonderful! It's a very modern and chill place to hang out. Also, they gave us two free drinks ?? Just for funsies? I cant believe the rave reviews about this place! really?? I did the drive thru yesterday and My black coffee was easy enough no issues there strong though but i like the taste of coffee. My coffee cake I got was a huge round pancake like thing. Dry and they offered to warm it so i had them do so and it was warm in some spots and cold in others. definitely a meals worth of calories in that thing. the girl who delivered my food from the window i didn't even recognize as an employee. messy hair and wearing clothes that may have been crumbled up in the corner of her room for a few days. Coffee was hot and had caffeine so that was really all I was looking for and got it. My next experience today, "No method to this madness" would be the title of my review. when you first walk in its hard to distinguish the service counter from everything Else. Its cramped and there are no signs "order here" pick up here". and the distance from the order spot to pick up spot to drive thru window is really small. Barely enough room to turn around with your hot coffee with out bumping into someone. there were 3 People working behind the counter running around not communicating to each other reaching over and around eachother just to fill 3 black just plain black, coffee orders! after i placed my order i got my frozen drink right away and i enjoyed that it was filled all the way to the top and i got my water right up front at the register. but they forgot about my scone that i ordered heated up. so i got it out of the microwave cold,. and it was terrible! yes i know what a scone is and what to expect but the worst scone i have ever had, very very dry, bitter tasting, no real fruit just spots of color. and my iced blended coffee drink didn't have enough coffee taste. the outside seating is worn and broken and not butt friendly. the crowd here is different from Starbucks and definitely ppl i have never seen before for this being such a small town read more

I always get the Blended Caramel made with soy, and trust me--you cannot tell the difference! The taste is perfect, and I love how it's blended till it's SMOOTH and creamy unlike Starbucks which always leaves small ice chunks which make your drink watery after sitting a while. Truly excellent espresso here in Prescott! I am what they call a coffee nerd, and I tried Wild Iris and did not like the Dinah in the espresso. I was pleased to see a list of "notes" in the coffee and espresso when I arrived. Method Espresso has dark chocolate, walnut, blackberry and plum. Deep and smooth with a nice finish. I know it's Labor Day, No excuse for bad service. I don't really write reviews but I felt I needed to this time, I ordered my hand crafted specialty coffee and they acted as though they had no clue what I was ordering, I went to method coffee this morning hoping to be impressed by their coffee, the review were impressive as my wife and I research each coffee shop before we go. I was not impressed I think McDonald's coffee would have tasted better, maybe I caught you guys on a bad day, inconsistency is not good for business either, and lastly my cup of coffee was slammed on the counter as those she was trying to crush it. Method coffee is pretty good, as far as coffeeshops go. Beverages and pastries are generally tasty, for a reasonable price On taste alone, I'd give method 5 stars, but there are a few nitpicks that bring it down to four stars in my opinion. Though the baristas do a good job preparing drinks, ive received less-than-stellar customer service in other categories with depressing regularity. I've received the incorrect amout of change 3 times. For a retail establishment, i feel this is unacceptable. Also, if i customize a drink in any way (e.g. Ordering it with cinnamon on top) I usually have to ask again at the counter, because it is usually forgotten. Still, it is currently one of the best coffeeshops in prescott, and worth checking out, if you enjoy coffee. read more

This is what a coffee shop should be. Espresso drinks are made right, the staff is friendly, it has a drive-thru, and it's intimate. I never minded the wooden chairs, but I could see why some wouldn't like them. The local art is interesting, and the decor feels purposeful, unlike some coffee shops in the area that have the "assembled piece-by-piece" look.
