Additionally, none of the doors or baseboards were white, they had all yellowed due to age. Joe Giordano of Freedom Finishers came highly recommended and was able to come out, go over what I wanted done, and provide an estimate that same day. He and his crew started shortly thereafter. As the job progressed, he provided constant communication as to the job's status. There were things I added along the way, and Joe was extremely accommodating and able to fit them in. Joe and his crew left the house and work areas clean, and hauled away excess materials etc. In the end. Joe/Freedom Finishers completed several drywall repairs, refinished the entire stair railing and all spindles, added new brackets, painted all the doors, their trim and baseboards in the entire home. He also offered to fix a small area of shoddy work done by a previous painter, and did so flawlessly! The walls were dark and we were switching to a lighter color. It was done neatly and perfectly. Another project was our finished basement which had several patching repairs they fixed (thanks to our four kids) and made the walls and ceiling look like new. The interior of my home looks completely transformed. They work very efficently, meticulously and are painting pros. This week they came to paint our exterior. About a week before painting, they power washed it all. We have cedar siding that needed lots of caulking and prep before staining, and a ton of white trim. Again, they didn't disappoint. I had Freddy get the paint, match the color and he used all Benjamin Moore products. We have a really tall roofline that had trim that they painted. No problem for these guys. It looks crisp and better than new. Freddy's pricing is extremely reasonable and if you were to get several quotes I am pretty confident that his would come in well under the others. Updating through text and phone, he either starts the project exactly as scheduled or earlier. This may sound basic, but these guys want to work and for that reason I will always call him for our painting needs.

I thought their estimate for the work at my fourplex was fair because it was a huge job. I had them paint the exterior of the building which has four townhomes and also the decks of the fourplex. Friday even moved furniture off the decks because I wasn't given prior notice that he was coming early to give my tenants the heads up to remove their items. Freddy also repaired loose boards and replaced ones that were rotting. I was very satisfied with this company and their communication. I asked Freddy for a second quote on two more properties that I needed just trimwork repainted. However, I didn't feel their pricing was fair, compared to the other quotes I was receiving. I did end up contracting with my former painter on this job because his estimate was significantly less. Freddy was paid $2700 for the decks at my fourplex, but he wanted $4000 for trimwork on the current job. That wasn't working for me. I would try Freddy Painting again in the future to see if his quote would be fair like the first job. He did good work.

I could not have chosen a worse painter than Lanningham. I hired Jason and his "crew" (which turned…read moreout to be him and his wife) to paint a 40 X 80 machine shed for me. I was given a price quote which I agreed to, and I was given a time frame of 7 days depending on weather. We've had great weather and 5 weeks into the job it's still not done. Their workday consists of showing up around 9:30-10:00, taking lunch at noon, and then pulling out around 2:00-2:30. This is with several smoke breaks in between. I paid him half down over a month before the job started, but now he wants more money to continue working claiming that he's using more material than anticipated. The quote was for two topcoats, but he's only done one topcoat on the four sides of the building and has only done one topcoat on half of the roof. I refused to give him any more money until the job is complete, which was the terms in his contract. Now he's accusing me of "f***ing" him and pulled off my job. He's lied to me, made false promises, and has done mediocre work at best. I've been in the real estate business for 28 years and I've never had such an awful contractor work for me. Do yourself a favor and take the time to research this guy before hiring. I was fooled by a professional looking website and old positive reviews. This company is anything but professional.
