Kevin and Erin were great to work with to start the process as they provided a competitive bid and scheduled us as soon as the weather warmed up to complete our exterior painting job early this spring! They hired a subcontractor to perform the painting (in separate review), but everything went according to plan and the work was of high quality and very professional. I recommend Prime Time for all your painting needs. read more

I had Prime Time Painting come out and give me an estimate on staining my home. The man was rude and was laughing at every question I had asked. Every single question I had asked him he was smirking/chuckling and rolling his eyes at me. Just because I am a woman he acted like I was an idiot. Finally, I had enough!! I called him out on the way he was treating me. Once again he started smirking/chuckling and saying no I am not. He was so condescending still!! I told him I do not want his estimate and told him how rude he was. Walked into my garage and closed it. Prime Time Painting most definitely will not get my business. The company is very rude to woman. I will find someone who paints houses and is respectful to women. read more

I could not be happier with the work that Jose and his team did. I have a lot of dated wood trim and my walls were in pretty bad shape with nicks and scratches, and they prepped for days before starting in on the color. My dad told me that's how you know you have good painters. Now all the walls are gorgeous and smooth and the trim is sharp and clean. It's completely transformed my home. They also painted a large section of exterior brick and I immediately started getting texts from neighbors telling me how fantastic it looked. The guys were pleasant and friendly and didn't get annoyed when I kept adding extra rooms (because it looked so good!) And SO clean. Before they left I could see them wiping down the floor in my front hallway with a rag. Absolutely recommend them for your next painting project. read more

Beware!!!!! They do not do what they promise!! So unhappy with the work done on my kitchen cabinets. Kevin Gallagher (salesman) assured my husband and I that they could paint and do small repairs (remove peeling and repair chips) on our white thermofoil cabinets. He said, "Five years ago, I would have told you that we couldn't paint them" Well, unfortunately, I decided to have them do the work instead of replacing the cabinet doors. When I signed the contract, they told me they wouldn't be out for a month, but if it rains they would move us up because most of the current jobs were outdoors. This didn't happen, and I had to reach out on the Friday before the Monday they were supposed to arrive to remind them to come. Have you seen this spring? It has rained almost every day. This should have been my first clue as to how they run their business. Daniel was the painter who did most of the work. Kevin had also promised that they could add base trim and other trim work to update the cabinets, but when I asked Daniel, he acted like he didn't or couldn't do that. When I reached out to Kevin, he sent an updated contract with the trim work. 2 days later, Daniel showed up with base trim that was too short. Daniel then had my husband and I looking at HomeDepot.com and Lowe's.com looking for appropriate sized trim, because he said that Menards has no other sizes. What?!?! We decided to cancel the trim work, because Daniel really didn't seem confident in his ability to do it. When the cabinet doors arrived they looked beautiful, but I noticed that none of the peeling areas were fixed (see photos) like Kevin said would and could be done, so we reached out to Kevin. Daniel then went and bought some glue to repair them. Um...what?!? I could have done that and I have glued them in the past. This doesn't stop the peeling. I am giving them 2 stars for the color recommendation for the island and the white color matching and the actual paint finish on the cabinets and moving the handle on the trash cabinet. (They didn't fill those holes properly though.) Also, they ruined the wood finish on my kitchen floors with tape. Their only solution was to have the sales guy Kevin repair it himself...nope! I would never recommended them for any painting job! So now I'm left with a damaged floor, unfinished bottom cabinets, extra paint, and glue to fix my thermofoil cabinets from peeling. All of this cost me $4K. Ugh! Horrible! read more

I have already used this company twice for my home.... Great company to work with... very professional and very prompt... will use them again... highly recommend! read more

EXCELLENT!! Finding quality contractors can be very challenging. After doing some research online, I came across Prime Time via Yelp. After reading their reviews, I made an appointment. Kevin came out to our house and provided us with a very reasonable quote. I had received a couple of other quotes for the same areas and they wanted to charge us double! In the end, I listened to my gut and went with Kevin and his crew...Pedro and Carlos. Everyone was extremely professional and courteous from the beginning to the end. They covered our furniture with tarp, were very careful when moving our belongings and they also vacuumed when they were finished! The work was very meticulous and we highly recommend them. We are going to need more areas painted and they are the only company I will be calling. read more

I can't say enough good things about Prime Time Painting. They completed painting the entire exterior of our home today. Estimate, scheduling, and painting all outstanding and in record time. Everyone was easy to work with and at a good price. read more

I used Primetime to paint 1/2 of my new construction home. They are totally professional. Joe, the owner came out right away to conduct my estimate. He sent me a detailed online estimate that was competitive. The painters were so neat, clean and respectful of my property. My lower level and upstairs hallway came out beautiful. I have already told them I expect to use the guys again to paint the remainder of my home next spring. I've had many painters. Primetime is by far the best! read more

My husband and I needed inside of our house painted and some areas of drywall fixed. We would usually do this ourselves but work schedules didn't allow us to. Bob came out gave quote no problem. Job got delayed a week. Painters decided not to use scaffolding in our 20' ceiling living room. Painters don't use lights, don't tape off rooms or trim properly. Now we have a messed up ceiling and now we will have to do it. I do not recommend this company. read more

Nothing but great things to say about Prime Time! We gathered quotes from 3 different painters, to paint all of the trim, crown moulding and doors in our 2700sq ft house. Prime Time's quote was in line with the other two, but they could come out right away AND would move all of the furniture, which the other two wouldn't. The project started right on time and the painters were so respectful of our home. Bob came over every day to check on the progress, make sure everything was okay, etc. The job finished right on time and we are beyond impressed with the way it looks. The crew took such pride in their work - we will definitely use again and recommend to anyone looking for an interior or exterior painter! read more

We just had Prime Time Painting out. Miguel was the guy that came out and got it done. He was awesome. I'm not sure Miguel had the instructions that were needed to sand all the walls in the entire room. He seemed surprised when we talked about Semi-Gloss currently on the walls midway through the painting preocess. Hopefully the new paint doesn't peel off. It was the whole point of having professionals out. Short of that. Miguel was amazing. He fixed and painted our ceiling and walls, (multiple coats) better and faster than we could have ever dreamed. ] If Prime Time Painting has Miguel coming to your house,to paint an interior room, just know it will be done not only fast, but with an amazing job. I know I mentioned that i'm not sure all the walls were sanded. But, at this moment. We are beyond thrilled with the job Prime Time Painting, and Miguel did. Kevin B read more

I got several quotes to paint the exterior of my house. Prime time painting was in the middle. After reading everyones reviews, I eliminated the low bids due to poor reviews. I settled on prime time. They kept me informed on the week we picked to start. They showed up when they said. The crew was great. They addressed all my concerns. Bob checked in each day. Erin in the office returned calls promptly. The house looks great. They did a great job on cleanup. I would definitely recommend Prime time painting. read more

Joe was awesome. I called him with an urgent request to paint my living room in time for a big party, he worked me into his schedule, and it was done within 10 days of my initial contact with him. He and his staff were punctual, communicative, and nice. The job was done perfectly. I am delighted with the result, and will be calling him again! read more

The rep promised us a professional crew. Although the person who painted did a good job, the experience was lacking in my opinion. The painters showed up late on day one and on day two were over two hours late. They finished the job early but unbeknownst to me, left quite a bit of clean up work for me. There were spilled paint on the banisters, brick fireplace and dried drywall compound throughout. Took me two hours to clean that up. They should have done that. One of them did not have a babysitter so brought the kids each day. That wasn't a show stopper, but created liabilities issues that I won't go into. I told the rep all of this and he was very arrogant and unresponsive. read more

I had asked Prime Time for a quote to have the the interior of our 3000 sq foot house painted. They quoted me $15,000 dollars. We did not want to spend that type of money on painting at this time. So we ask for another quote knocking off 4 big room, 3 bathrooms, 7 closets. The quote came back at $13,500. We felt this was not correct, so we called Prime Time. There response was, you only knocked off a couple of rooms. We just ended up using some one else. read more

Best painting company I have ever dealt with!!!! Prime Time Painting did an absolute phenomenal job painting the exterior of our house. They did great work, were very clean, and respectful of our property. Kevin G. is extremely knowledgeable, easy to work with and his price was very competitive. I highly recommend Prime Time Painting. If I ever need anything else painted they will be my first and only call, customer for life! Jeff B. read more

I would definitely recommend Prime Time Painting. Joe and his team came out several times to inspect my house and fully understand the scope of the work. My home is 100+ years old -- so it required A LOT of wood repair, power washing, sanding, scraping, patching, caulking, and painting. The exterior is a combination of wood trim, cedar shingles and stucco. We had a couple of hiccups along the way, but that is to be expected with a property of this age. Joe and his team came back out to correct any issues. They spent over a week at my property. The pictures don't do their work justice, but they did go above and beyond to make me happy. The end result is night and day. read more

Had Prime Time come out and paint my garage which was no easy task because of the bad shape the walls where in. They did an excellent job. The owner even came by and noticed a few areas that needed to be touched up and had the crew come back out and fix. 5 stars for sure read more

We waited for Kevin to quote our project for almost three weeks. He then showed up and declined to quote our exterior trim since they were booked out eight weeks already and didn't have time for our job. Why schedule an appointment to quote when you have no intention of taking the job? Glad we found out how this place runs before hiring them. read more

Prime Time Painting provided us with a professional experience from start to finish. There was no hassle with the estimation, and everything was invoiced quickly and correctly. The prices were by far the best when compared to all of the other businesses in town. The painting crew did a wonderful job painting the trim on the outside of the house and all of the windows. They were quick, courteous and professional. We would highly recommend Prime Time Painting (and already have). read more

We hired Prime Time to do a complete painting job for us (exterior and interior). We encountered some communication problems trying to get a few issues resolved but once the owner became aware of the issues, he stepped in and made sure everything was completed to our satisfaction. It is refreshing to see a company that is willing to go above and beyond to ensure that the customer is happy with the end result. I would recommend them. read more

Came out to give bid. Spent about 20 minutes looking at project. Told me to expect quote in 1-2 days. Two weeks later never heard back from them. Called them and thanked them for waisting my time. Great service and very quick! Bob got us a quote within a few days and once we accepted the quote he was able to schedule the paint job in just a week! Other quotes said they were booked at least a month out! He has very reasonable prices and his crew does quality work! We got our entire exterior painted with new colors and asked to install shutters too, it finally has curb appeal! His crew was able to get the job done in just 3 days when other quotes said it would take at least 1 week! The crew was on time every morning and stayed 10-12 hrs every day to get it done so fast without compromising quality. Any requests or call outs I had during the painting process liked missed spots the crew immediately fixed without a complaint! They kept saying whatever to make you happy, we'll do, that's what's important to us, I was truly impressed! They even told us at the end they had to grab extra paint as they were short and they did not ask for additional payment for it at all. I would definitely recommend Prime Time to anyone! They exceeded my expectations! read more

I was disappointed in the quality of work, paint was dripped on brand new carpet, painter cleaned brushes and roller in newly installed bathroom sink, paint splattered on counter in bathroom. Painted the baseboards, however, got paint on carpet. Painted window frame and proceeded to paint the storm window frame, it had to be scrapped to remove the storm. I will never use this company again. read more

Joe's team did a wonderful job painting our kitchen cabinets! They were fast, professional and very reasonable compared to other quotes I received. I was referred to him and I would definitely refer him to friends and family! I HIGHLY recommend Prime Time Painting. read more

I wish there were more stars available when rating Prime Time Painters! They were that great. Kevin came out and went over every detail of what would be done on our house from start to finish. He gave us a thorough itemized estimate and followed through with quick communication to every question. The crew lead by Abraham started on time and finished on time. Every day the crew let us know what they were going to do. The job was a 5 day process due to the fact that our house was all wood and the 18 pair of shutters needed to be removed and painted as well as several wood repairs etc...and I always had answers to any questions within the hour of asking! Kevin and the crew were extremely thorough, professional, efficient, fast, courteous, and trustworthy. Cleanup was fantastic. From the professional and timely estimate and the quick scheduling through the expect repair and painting this company has my loyalty. From the start of our exterior project to the end, Prime Time Painting was amazing to work with. It started with Kevin providing the estimate. In addition to being quick in getting back to us, Prime Time Painting also beat the competitors in pricing. The crew arrived earlier than what was initially projected. They also completed the job quickly. We were also amazed at how professional, neat and courteous everyone was. We will definitely call them back when ready for the interior to be painted. read more

In June 2018, we had Prime Time Painting paint the exterior of our cedar siding, front door, garage door and all trim work in North Aurora. The 5 person crew sent did a great job. Kevin G , their Sales Rep would always get back to us promptly when we had some questions. We would highly recommend Prime Time Painting to anyone interested in using their painting service. read more

They showed up on time and were clean. The strange thing is that the paint seemed very thin. My wife wrote on the walls what color was to go on which wall. If you look closely you can see the writing through the paint. It seems that the paint was thinned out. Some friends said that is a common practice and never let the painters pickup the paint. Make sure you pickup the paint yourself. read more

3 years ago Primetime painted the exterior of my house and they did a fantastic job. This week they completed the inside of my 3000 sqft house and more first class work. Started with taping and tarping off everything. Then they moved the furniture so they could access the walls and 16 foot ceiling. The crew leader (Abe) was a true pro and they went beyond repairing wall, tape and nail pops. The end result is beautiful with zero imperfections or paint drops. On the management side, Bob stayed in constant communications and visited the site all 4 days. These guys are the best! read more

I highly recommend Prime Time Painting. They were very professional and quick. We had them update our stairs but painting our oak spindles and risers white. Wood stain on 2 story 3200 sq ft home, and plastic shutters, front door, 3 car garage and side entrance. Excellent work. 2 guys did the entire job in 4 days. Very professional. Always cleaned up at the end of the day. Even did some minor repair work on shutters and couple of pieces of trim. Made this 1990's house look brand new again. Pricing was lower than other estimate, too. We chose them as we've seen them in our neighborhood multiple times over the last two years. Now we know why. read more

These guys do perfect work! We had the exterior of our cedar-siding house painted with solid-color stain. They gave a very fair price, used the best of paints (Sherwin Williams), nailed down boards, filled cracks, caulked everywhere that needed it, and painted nice straight lines. These guys do not cut corners; they removed downspouts so they could paint under them. Everything was cleaned up afterwards. I would definitely recommend them to a friend, and I plan to use them for interior work in the near future. read more
