They transformed my dull, scratched up floors into something almost new! The finish is absolutely flawless--smooth, rich, and with just the right amount of sheen. Joshua and his guys clearly take pride in their craft, and it shows. What really stood out was how clean the process was. Their dustless sanding system was a game-changer--I didn't have to worry about a mess in the unit. They also walked me through every step, patiently answering my questions and offering helpful suggestions. I had requested Joshua to also paint my wooden trims and he transformed something so outdated into something so modern, I couldn't believe it was the same unit with the new refinished floors and painted trims! The final result is beyond beautiful. It feels like I have a brand-new unit! If you're considering floor refinishing and any painting needs, do yourself a favor and hire Joshua and his company, Chicago Luxury Construction. They're worth every penny (and very fairly-priced at that!). I'll be bringing him back for my other units and I'll definitely be recommending them to all my friends and family.

Marian, the owner of First Chicago Remodeling, gets it done right. Our project included demolition of a couple of walls in the kitchen, changing our flooring in living room, foyer and stairs up to our bedrooms from tile to wood. We interviewed various contractors and only Marian was willing to make our budget work for the kitchen of our dreams. He offered many ideas and options based on our budget, the quote was clear as to what materials and work the quote covered. Cabinets in the quote were affordable, same for counter top materials. He gave us option for higher end materials as long as we were willing to pay for the difference. In the end, we stuck with the cabinets and counter tops options included in the quote and our kitchen turned out gorgeous. He kept us updated as to their findings and what to expect when. Him and his crew remodeled our kitchen and living room area in record time. If it wasn't for the delay in the granite (counter top), our kitchen would have been ready in 5 weeks! He estimated 6 weeks and delivered within that time frame. He did such an excellent work and we want him back to remodel our basement. We will be ready to do that in the next year and I will only trust him with the work. Thank you Marian for such a great job and enriching our living at home by making such a great transformation of our old kitchen/living room area to the beautiful place it is now!

He was one of seven estimates we received for a bathroom remodel and was competitively priced. He went with us to our cabinet shop to help pick the best option for our bathroom vanity esp. since we had a nonstandard measurement than most vanities, requiring customization of the plumbing and countertop. Almando brought his A game daily. He was not only prompt and showed up when he said he would, but also had a great attitude, was honest and trustworthy. He was very clean and respectful of our property. He brought special non-slip tarps that he put over our wood stairs and walkways daily and folded them back up at the end of his workday.
