We recently completed our basement renovation with Northwest Remodeling and can't say enough good things about Omar and his team. Their professionalism was unmatched. With the exception of a couple noisy hours, we barely noticed their presence. The team came and went quietly, left the space clean and tidy each day, and were very respectful of our time - showing up when they said they would (which is unheard of for most contractors!). We know we are not easy clients, as we have high expectations for quality of work, and their team anticipated and worked around any potential concerns before we could even bring it up in discussion. They also were great about communicating on additional items that we may have wanted to add along the way, such as insulating the ceiling or adding additional vents/outlets/light switches, and presented other possibilities we hadn't even thought about. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about them and the work they did. From the first time we spoke until the last, Omar stayed true to his word as well as his time frame. We needed our almost 1900sq ft basement finished and we started the journey of looking online for contractors. We had about 5 contractors come in to assess the space and provide their bids for the basement. Omar stood out because he had the best functional floor plan and his 3D sketches were the icing on the cake as it helped us visualize our space. Based on this, we decided to proceed five him the contract. His bid was moderate as he was neither the highest nor the lowest. As with big remodeling projects, we were a little apprehensive in the beginning but he made the entire process pleasant. He was very professional, accessible and responsive throughout the process. We followed the contract terms, budget-wise and time-wise and we able to discuss any "extras" we wanted and agreed to payment terms. He worked very hard with the village to obtain the permits. He listened to our ideas and his recommendations were really thoughtful and helpful. I can honestly say he has a really great design eye and does quality work. His team was very hardworking and they showed up on time every morning and did not miss any work days. They were trustworthy so we gave them our house code and they respected our home and property.
