We couldn't say enough good things about working with Northwest Remodeling and Services. Omar and his team were amazing to work with on our basement project in Barrington, IL - they were punctual, responsive, talented in their work, and accommodating to our design changes. They were instrumental in coming up with the design to begin with, then were involved throughout the entire process. Their contracting team is outstanding and detail oriented - every part of the renovation was impeccably done. They showed up 6x a week and stayed on schedule to get it done on time. Their crew was also respectful and cleaned up to minimize the dust, which we really appreciated as a family with young kids. Overall, a great experience with Northwest and highly recommend them. We definitely plan to reach back out for future renovation projects. read more

Omar and his team did an amazing job with our basement. They were professional, clean, quick, and most importantly did a fantastic job with high quality materials. We could not be happier with our experience, and recommend them for anyone looking to finish or remodel their basement. An added bonus, their prices were extremely reasonable, even when adding in last minute upgrades such as additional closets and a dry bar install! read more

We recently completed our basement renovation with Northwest Remodeling and can't say enough good things about Omar and his team. Their professionalism was unmatched. With the exception of a couple noisy hours, we barely noticed their presence. The team came and went quietly, left the space clean and tidy each day, and were very respectful of our time - showing up when they said they would (which is unheard of for most contractors!). We know we are not easy clients, as we have high expectations for quality of work, and their team anticipated and worked around any potential concerns before we could even bring it up in discussion. They also were great about communicating on additional items that we may have wanted to add along the way, such as insulating the ceiling or adding additional vents/outlets/light switches, and presented other possibilities we hadn't even thought about. There was no pressure to value-add, though we wanted to after their insightful suggestions in some cases! We had ordered a few finishing touches like custom shelves and a mantel, and their team happily installed them for us in order to achieve the overall result we were hoping for. The entire project went according to schedule, and they finished within the timeline and price point we had expected from the beginning. We are THRILLED with our basement and would highly recommend Northwest Remodeling to anyone looking to achieve a high-value renovation with a wonderful team of workers. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! read more

Northwest did our entire master bath remodel. We had the entire bath torn out, right down to the studs, and rebuilt with a walk in shower in place of the old jacuzzi and stackable washer/dryer where the original shower was. From start to finish, the workmanship was timely, thorough, and simply impeccable! I could not be any happier!! What a fantastic job, and very reasonably priced, too. read more

Northwest Remodeling And Services - Master bath work completed. - General Contractors Near Me - Elgin, Illinois

I hired Northwest Remodeling & Services to finish my basement. Omar and his crew did amazing work. We trusted in their design as we couldn't really picture the space ourselves. Previously, it was just your typical unfinished basement overflowing with junk we've collected over the years. Now, it's an amazing space that our family uses most of the day! The quality of the work is top notch. In addition, Omar and his crew were very clean and respectful of our home throughout the duration of the project. Our dog loved saying hi to them every morning so you know they're good people. I am used to construction projects exceeding deadlines. However, our project was completed well before the expected date. We will definitely contact Omar for more projects in the future! read more

We just finished our basement one month ago and are very pleased with the great job that Northwest Remodeling & Services Company did. From the beginning, Omar and his brother, Andre, were very easy to work with. They unpretentiously listened to our ideas, our vision and very quickly put it on the 3D digital footprint. With expertise and professionalism, they guided us on how to build/finish and make our basement functional and comfortable. The workers were very professional, considerate and had very good attention to detail. Every area of the basement; the pool table and poker area, the elegant bar, the gym/exercise room, the media room and game area, the bedroom and finally the full bathroom were built as designed. We are thankful and very lucky to have found such a great crew to work with. We recommend them very strongly to anyone who is looking to finish or remodel their basement. read more

Omar and team were absolutely fantastic throughout the entire process. Firstly, Omar was the only one who provided a 3D drawing of the project which really brought the idea to life and made him the easy choice. The work started and ended as scheduled and we could not be happier with the results. All changes were discussed in detail and executed to perfection. If you're an over planner like myself Omar and team will put your hesitations to rest with their great communication and excellent workmanship. read more

Unable to get ahold of them on the phone for an initial quote, so they are off our list of possible contractors.

When we decided to finish our basement, we got quotes from five contractors. Northwest remodeling was our last one, and when we received their quote, we immediately decided to go with them. Not only was their quote the most affordable, but it was the most detailed one we received and was the only one that included 3D models. Throughout the process, we did not doubt the decision to go with Northwest remodeling. Omar and his crew were professional, and they showed respect to our home by keeping the space clean and organized. Communication was smooth, and many times they asked to work on Saturdays in order for the basement to finish faster. The basement was finished yesterday, and we could not be happier with the results-It looks even better than what we imagined! read more

Omar and Northwest did our entire basement remodel last year. Prior to them coming in, our basement was just cement, no dry wall, not even plumbed out. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about them and the work they did. From the first time we spoke until the last, Omar stayed true to his word as well as his time frame. Compard to other quotes we received, he was very reasonable and there were never any hidden costs or fees. In addition to Omar, everyone that he employed was exceptionally clean, proficient, efficient and professional. They actually went above and beyond our expectations. For example, we had a humongous billiard table that weighed a TON that we were unable to get rid of prior to the job, they dismantled and discarded it, of no charge. We had previously work done elsewhere in our home, by a different contractor and our experience was nothing short of a nightmare. Needless to say, given our past experiences, I was very cautious but they exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend. read more

Everything you want in a contractor. Professional, timely, knowledgeable and fairly priced.

We recently had our basement finished. They were punctual, professional and the end result was amazing! You will not be disappointed.

We were thrilled with the work Omar and his team did on our basement. We got quotes from several different basement companies, including Matrix, and the design ideas from Omar far exceeded what any of the other companies could offer, not to mention his prices were much more affordable than what Matrix offered. Due to COVID, we were home every single day that they were working in our home, which was certainly not what any of us expected, but Omar's team was extremely polite, professional, and clean. They showed up on time every day, cleaned up after themselves, and kept the noise to a minimum, as much as possible. They were all friendly with my kids and my dog, and you can tell they all take a great deal of pride in their work. Omar and his team were extremely flexible and open to our ideas and suggestions, even when we changed our minds on a few things during the project. I could not be happier with the finished product and would not hesitate to hire this company again for any future renovation needs. read more

Omar and his team were amazing! I would highly recommend them. Not only did our basement turn out beautiful but the team was so kind and respectful. We needed our almost 1900sq ft basement finished and we started the journey of looking online for contractors. We had about 5 contractors come in to assess the space and provide their bids for the basement. Omar stood out because he had the best functional floor plan and his 3D sketches were the icing on the cake as it helped us visualize our space. Based on this, we decided to proceed five him the contract. His bid was moderate as he was neither the highest nor the lowest. As with big remodeling projects, we were a little apprehensive in the beginning but he made the entire process pleasant. He was very professional, accessible and responsive throughout the process. We followed the contract terms, budget-wise and time-wise and we able to discuss any "extras" we wanted and agreed to payment terms. He worked very hard with the village to obtain the permits. He listened to our ideas and his recommendations were really thoughtful and helpful. I can honestly say he has a really great design eye and does quality work. His team was very hardworking and they showed up on time every morning and did not miss any work days. They were trustworthy so we gave them our house code and they respected our home and property. They did a great with clean up after the construction. We love our basement and have been enjoying it for a couple of weeks with no issues. I will recommend Omar at Northwest remodeling & services anytime because he is a contractor you can trust (and believe me it is hard finding one you can trust). I look forward to working with him again on future projects. read more
