My boyfriend being a carpenter wanted to check out the local hardware store. So we did. We weren't even there for 10 minutes before leave (everything was over priced and nothing we needed) to go across town and wait. Well the man from the store followed us to the other end of town, knocked on my car door and proceed to tell me that I had stolen a pair of work gloves, and that he had called the police to come search my car. I try to tell him I didn't steal anything, he continued beings rude to me telling me "it will be much harder if I don't give him back what I stole". So we waited and waited for the cops to show. After 20 minutes of waiting I aproched the man and told him once again I didn't steal anything. He refused to believe me! told me "his cousins were the cops he had called. And that we need to return what we had taken". So me I left back to my car and the man drove away. The cops never showed. So if your looking to be treated like scum, have someone hunt you down and continue to treat you poorly this is the place to go.

Fortunately, a friend knew that Alsco services lawn mowers in a building behind the hardware store. I left my lawnmower with Andy and he had it ready in two days (at a time Clark & Sons in Yuba City was quoting seven weeks). The price was reasonable, and the lawn mower fired right up on the first pull of the cord. Since I didn't have a pickup, Andy even offered to deliver it to me on his way home after work.
