I feel bad I got so excited looking at the buffet I forgot to take a picture. Lunch was about $14 and dinner about $17 but If your a member of the players club you get to play a video turtle race that gives you a coupon for money off at the coffee shop or buffet mine was $5 off the buffet. All the food was fresh and lots of items mostly what my mother would cook the bonus is a salad and fruit bar. Best deal in town

    Sundays brunch with bottomless mimosas

You get what you pay for! Can't beat 12.99 brunch with bottomless mimosas. I've been here at few times and I like it. Nothing too fancy of course but all dishes made well. The times I've visited the service is always great and quick. And the station are kept clean.

Located inside the Casablanca casino, Friday night is AYCE crab legs for $18.99. Yes! I said $18.99! For this price, you get prime rib, crab legs, shrimp and so much more! You get a choice of hot steaming crab legs or the ice cold ones. I prefer the hot ones and drown it in butter. While standing in line, I met some locals who said that they don't gamble but make it a date night every month to come eat here. They also said that this buffet is better than Vegas without the Vegas price! I 100% agree with them! Everything was delicious and their desserts were pretty good too! They didn't have any creme brûlée when I dined in, but their carrot cake was a great selection! I can't wait to come back and stuff my face again.

Oysters and crab legs from Friday Seafood night

$18.99 Friday Seafood Dinner Buffet in side the CasaBlanca Resort. Whoever thought there was still a thing during these covid times!? In Vegas, add like 10 bucks and that would be a normal dinner buffet at a local casino, no seafood. It would be even more for anything with seafood with a long wait. The "cheap" Asia buffets don't even serve crab legs anymore. So a $18.99 seafood buffet in the middle of Mesquite can't be legit can it!? It's legit! Mesquite actually has two Friday night buffets with crab legs but the other one had little or no beef. They had mountains of crab legs, served cold or hot. I thought the cold ones tasted better. They are thinner than what I'm use to pre-pandemic but I think that's normal size everywhere now. Just eat more it is all you can eat after all. And they had beef, prime rib and BBQ ribs. The good stuff. They also had raw oysters and oyster Rockefeller. Just keep your eyes on them they seemed like they were out for awhile but once more people took them and it got refilled it was all good. Clams, a live made to order pasta station, and more. I don't remember the dessert because I was full already. Everything was excellent and line was short. Seriously throwing this is the rotation just a little over an hour drive away from Vegas depending how you drive. Hit it up before and after going to Zion lol Saturdays are NY steak and crab legs night.

Juan was our server. He is very attentive, changing plates and adding fresh ones. There is a large variety of food and on Friday nights they have crab. The salad bar is fresh and the breakfast bar includes something for everyone including omelets, oatmeal, and peanut butter. There is also an omelet station and they were excellent.

The service here was superb, with very friendly and helpful servers! We enjoyed the mimosas, and the adorable glasses they come in. The food was solidly good. All of the fruit at the bar was of the can which was a-ok with me since it's January. The omelet was stacked with veggies, and was cooked to perfection. The Belgian Waffle was also a delight, crispy and light, with each and every bite! If you're staying at the Casa Blanca resort I highly recommend the weekend mimosa buffet.

The machine was buy some doors into the casino & we got hit with a cold breeze every time the door was opened. We then ventured to the center bar for some drinks & to play video poker & keno. Then we hit up the electronic craps game because the craps table was full. I'm new to craps but my friend knows how to play it so he was helping me. This time it was doing away with the original sportsbook, and relocating it against a nondescript wall deeper in the casino. Not a good look for us bettors. I was told that Station casinos has taken over this aspect of of our gambling vice. In so doing, I'm thinking Casablanca has given it the Ol' heave ho. The sportsbook has been transformed into a comicbook. Good ridden to the bank of TV's. Out you go ample seating. So long talley board giving the spreads. Usher in the new and unimproved thimble experience. A few roundtop tables, and I wonder what the line on the game is? In the place of the old sportsbook location, installed are yet more uninspiring slots. Yes slots are the bread and butter of a casino. But bread gets stale and butter will turn rancid before long. Before you know it, the Casablanca will lean toward its one time neighbor The Oasis. That remnant is a blight on the landscape of Mesquite. However that infection could spread west if ownership doesn't quit tinkering with what made this casino resort a success. The renovated rooms are nice, and getting rid of the buffet was probably the right decision. What's lacking is the once old school ambiance. Adding new this and new that may not have the desired effect. What may happen is that we'll decide to stay home and gamble on our phones. Or better yet, gamble on our phones while in a national park or sitting on a beach in Hawaii. With diminishing returns hovering, it may not be prudent to gamble on repeat business. Quick Tip: If you want a quiet place to hang, visit the business center next to the elevators. In all the years that I've been visiting, I've yet to see anyone (other than myself) in there. You could literally have a party and not have to worry about being disturbed. It's also five times bigger that the new sportsbook!

Last night we wanted to celebrate and decided to go to the Lounge in Katherine's to enjoy a nice cocktail for a celebratory toast and have a small bite to eat as we weren't in the mood for a large meal. The bartender was very welcoming and our drinks were quite good. We ordered the Katherine's Burger, the French Dip Sliders and also the lobster bisque as I heard it was very good. The bartender specifically asked if I wanted the bisque first so I know that he heard my order correctly, but a waiter brought me French Onion instead. I told him it wasn't my order and I had ordered the bisque but he just kind of looked at me without saying anything or offering to bring me the correct soup. Since we were there mostly to enjoy a nice drink and I was sort of torn between ordering the French onion anyway, I told him it was fine and I would just eat that instead because I was quite hungry. But after trying the soup, it was not very good at all so I asked the bartender if I could just get the bisque I had ordered instead. The bisque came along with the rest of our order but was cold. The flavor was good though despite the temperature so I ate it. My husband's Katherine's burger was just ok, nothing special but my french dip sliders were very disappointing. Good flavor (especially the grilled onions) but just a dry pile of meat, onions and cheese on a dry bun. No horseradish aioli as the menu stated and nothing to dip it in. I ate one and brought the rest home. I was quite excited to give Katherine's a try but it was so disappointing that I doubt we will return. We should have just stuck with the drinks and skipped the expensive and huge letdown on the food.

Check in desk staff was super friendly and helpful. We have 2 small dogs so they put us in pet friendly room that was clean with vinyl flooring so any accidents would be easy to clean up.
