Everything I got was really good. Spring rolls, sweet and sour chicken, green beans, melons, lomein, broccoli beef. Our server cleared our plates quickly and kept our water glasses full. The ambiance was casually kick back. I didn't notice the flooring but the tables were clean and the buffet was kept clean and stocked. I was to full to enjoy any deserts but they looked good. I have been to mesquite for Thanksgiving for years, but this was my last. Disgusting food, 30 minutes to get a drink of water, food ran out 1 hour into the buffet. To end it all, a bug crawled out of my salad. They should be shut down!!! read more

We came for the seafood buffet on March 8th especially for the lobster tails and whole lobster's. The town square buffet is small but setup is nice. As for the lobster tails we did find some issues. Some tails were cooked just right but some were undercooked and could not be eaten. Need to check temperatures better as we would not like to see people get sick. As for the whole lobsters they were way overcooked and very rubbery and very chewy. We will come and give the seafood buffet one more chance and hope things will be better. It was ashamed to waste good seafood for being undercooked. read more

I have to say, I was slightly nervous about going to a buffet during a pandemic. The buffet is still serving Sunday brunch. Reservations are required and capacity is currently limited to 25%. When we arrived they verified our reservation and seated us right away (there were a total of 4 occupied tables in the restaurant when we were there). The entire buffet area is covered by plexiglass barriers. Guests cannot serve their own food or even touch the food. A staff member on the other side of the barrier dishes up anything you request and then hands you a plate through a small opening at the end of the line. Salads and fruits are all pre packaged in cups/containers with lids. Staff wears masks and gloves at all times. Despite being a buffet I felt completely safe the entire time I was there. The staff is doing an excellent job and the food was great. We happened to go on a day they had egg rolls for brunch, which makes me happy. Their egg rolls are delicious. There is a huge variety of food and every precaution is being taken to keep guests and staff safe so you can't go wrong eating here! read more

Not bad for a buffet. They have plenty of salad choices so as fruits options. They have meat like chicken, beef and pork so as side dishes like mashed potatoes, baked potatoes and rice and other things. There's a lot of baked dessert and pies and cookies. We enjoyed it. We will be back if we're in the area. read more

Hubby & I had a great lunch. The price, food choices, and quality was great. I ate lots of their tasty shelled shrimp. Our waiter from Guadalajara was very professional & personable. I was watching the cook & food staff work. I noticed that they were all working very hard. I didn't get a dessert, but noticed that the lady working in that section was very friendly to everyone that was getting desserts. We entered near closing time. Staff gave us advanced notice that they would be closing soon and they made sure everyone was done choosing their food items before closing down. Thank you for a nice lunch. read more

Having eaten at many buffets over the last decade, I was prepared to be underwhelmed at the Eureka's new Town Square Buffet. Surprisingly, I was extremely impressed. It was incredible. Rather than the large steam pans full of slowly overcooking buffet fare, the Town Square offered individual portions already plated. What a wonderful idea. Not only was I able to have a taste of more items with less waste, the food was much fresher. Offerings included steamed crab, lobster ravioli, shrimp scampi, peel and eat shrimp, and fish and chips. There was a wonderful array of salads. I enjoyed the fresh tomato and mozzarella salad and the miniature wedge salad. There was also Mexican, Italian, and Chinese cuisine available. Sliced to order meats included beef, sausage, and turkey. This is only a small portion of the food that was offered. The newly remodeled buffet room was beautiful. Decor fit the season and from what I understand will be switched out as the seasons change. Although quite crowded the noise level was low and table arrangements allowed for some privacy. I highly recommend this buffet to anyone. It was well worth the price. read more

* Review is for Pizza-to-go only * We decided to get try one of the advertised $7 large pizzas to take back to the room, and we were sorry we did as it was not very good, but the service was even worse. The older guy taking our order acted like it was a HUGE inconvenience. When asked if we could get paper plates & napkins, he replied, "NO! You'll get a pizza in a box!" OK the paper plates I can see a buffet not having, but no napkins? Apparently they don't have a way to let you know when the pizza is ready, so we hung around the adjacent slot areas and after 15-20 minutes I asked grumpy, who barked at a co-worker to go get our pizza. His poor attitude was a shame, and I don't think indicative of the overall service as the rest of the staff were great. Anyway the meat lovers pizza had way too much garlic on it (and we are big garlic fans), and we wound up tossing most of it. read more

Just left the buffet and won't be returning ever. Service was dismal, our table and silverware were dirty, and the food was mediocre at best. We had to flag down our server who was very short with us but busy taking selfies with her regulars at the next table. I asked for blueberries for my little one so I could stop dissecting and wasting pancakes and was told we could "only have 5". (I'm pretty sure I ended up wasting 5 more pancakes). I don't really like buffets and since the hubby wanted to go, I followed. Extremely nice staff, and extremely efficient. It was seafood night and the buffet was spotless and well stocked. We tried a little of most of the items, but will not go back mainly because we ate too much and felt that the quality of the food was not great. If you like buffets, then go for it. It was completely different. Not worth $20. Much better buffet at the Chuckarama in St. George for 12.99. No longer serve seafood on Saturday nights. Trying to do "world flavors." About 6 feet of buffet was just taco makings. Korean bbq as tough as shoe leather. Kababs were dry. Prime rib was only so so. Who wants bangers and mash anyway? Asian foods ok, but why am I paying $20 for less quality than Panda Express. Wife wanted mashed potatoes and gravy with her turkey. No mashed potatoes, no stuffing, no turkey gravy. They seemed to offer a lot of low quality meats like sausages. Tried the chicken Marsala. Flavorless. read more

So I came to the buffet on Saturday. Around 4pm worst food ever. They have a pasta station with no one at the station and when you ask about it they have no idea what's going on. If you are lactose tolerance do not come here. I was only able to eat a few things. Everything is covered in cheese. I ate a little bit of the pasta I had to scrap most of it I hope I don't get sick tonight. The one star is that the waitress and captain were very nice. But everything else isn't. They try to give off a more upscale style buffet but the food is still like all buffets. Nice service and food stayed fresh so that's always nice. If something looks old ask for it new and they are happy to change it out for some fresh stuff. read more

Coming from Vegas and having had every buffet imaginable, I wasn't quite sure what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised. Had the Friday night seafood and Sat night pasta buffet. Both were excellent and great value. Very tasty. Not everything will appeal to everyone as I read on some of the critical reviews, but you will find plenty to like. The snow crab legs were precut and fresh. Salmon and prime rib cutting station were good quality and tender. Good Asian section and pastas Sat had plenty of variety. The NY strip steaks were also very flavorful and I overheard some neighboring table say the same. Desserts were plentiful and good quality. All in all, on par with many good local Vegas casino buffets with better service and value. Good small town friendliness and culture from the staffs here and at many other local businesses and golf courses you won't find in Vegas or bigger cities. An $50-80 buffet on the Vegas strip is really no better. Highly recommend a visit to Mesquite. read more

Completely ignored by the single woman working the counter and the cooking. She helped some guy telling her what he wanted without respect for those waiting in line. I wasn't even acknowledged when I walked up to the counter yet the late comer was. Worst service ever. The cook, Krisha, apologized (half-heartedly) but I was so upset over the ordeal I wanted to leave but this was the only place to get any food at midnight. Ugh. Being a long time Nevada visitor and now resident, I have visited and eaten at 100s of buffets. And, while the "level" of the food varies (in other words, the cost of the ingredients), the general nature of these are essentially the same old thing. However, at Town Square they have managed to not only provide excellent dishes and service, but they have additionally developed an innovative approach to how they serve their food. The result is a feeling of having a gourmet dining experience instead of a "chow line" (i.e., "slop it onto your crowded plate") sort of typical buffet. As a result, my wife and I both, independently noted how impressed we were. Kudos to the executives and staff of the Eureka! read more
