Cheesesteak
Lauren C.

I went here for a late lunch and I was not disappointed. Truly your typical hole-in-the wall spot. I do recommend calling your order in ahead of time if you are able as my meal took about 20min to prepare after ordering in person. While I was waiting for my food, this place got busy very quickly. This place is run by 2-3 people at a time and all of the staff were friendly as well as welcoming. I appreciate that the woman who was running the grill and preparing orders would wash her hands after handling money. I ordered a cheesesteak with American cheese and everything on it as well as the chicken wings and fries combo. The sandwich was delicious and overstuffed with meat/toppings. The chicken wings were extra crispy just the way I like and the fries were your standard French fry. I did put hot sauce on my wings when I got home as they did provide me with ranch dipping sauce to go with the wings. All in all, I'll definitely stop by again when I am in the mood for food. Highly recommend!

Half a cheese steak with grilled onions and hots

I came here today for lunch. I got a half a cheese steak sub with grilled onions and hots and it tasted really good. the portion size was great too. If you are in the area give this place a try. It's a small location with good food.

Giant steak sub. But a half and eat like it's two. It's small and simple. Take out only but I don't care good food.

We ordered a couple of things, thinking something was bound to hit... there we go thinking again. The cheese on the cheesesteak was not melted, and did not melt when microwaved... the meat filling did not overflow the bun. The sandwich tasted better the next day with added mayo and hots, but a good cheesesteak shouldn't need this treatment. The garlic parmesan wings were dry and tasteless. We're okay with dry rub wings but these tasted of nothing. I still haven't figured out how to fix these, but I am loathe to simply throw them away. I'm not made of money. We unwrapped the cheeseburger, scoffed at it, wrapped it back up. You can get a better quality burger at royal farms, ffs. The highlight of the meal was the boom, boom chicken pizza. Really great crust with a nice chew. The toppings were good. No red sauce on this pie. I do think it could be improved with a bit of spice, to lean into the idea of boom, boom. It makes me sad to give a local, independent place such a poor rating but when so many people are struggling financially, getting take out should be a treat, not a colossal waste of money.

They were busy behind the counter, or the kitchen area, and it was noisy, lots of cooking tools clanking. I guess this is in response to many take out orders. The dining room is small with a few tables and chairs, it did not take long to fill up. When you enter, they have take out menus with combo specials in the centerfold... some good deals. And over the counter, hung from the ceiling are also specials on a chalk board, which is what we chose from My husband ordered the Italian cold cut sub, no hot meats . This came with a plastic glass for self-serve Coke products. No free refills, though. It was a typical sub, fresh and up to par. I ordered the much praised cheesesteak sub with raw onions and asked them to toast the roll. Our orders took all of 20 min. My sub needed something, I could not figure out exactly what. The sub was barely warm. The meat was good , the red onions were chopped (not many), and the cheese was a scant slice of American at the base of the roll. I was disappointed! Who serves American cheese on a cheese steak sub? The owner said they make it that way unless you specify otherwise (I wish I knew that when ordering). Next time, I have to give it to them. It was overstuffed. They do one heck of a carryout business. The owners were very friendly.

Had a Reuben sandwich at their stand at the Brew at the Zoo festival. It was marketed as "The Best…read moreReuben Sandwich". I've had a lot of Reubens, and I have to say it was absolutely a top contender with great texture and flavor. The corned beef was sliced thin and was super tender and not too salty, the rye bread was toasted nicely, and the proportions of all ingredients made for a perfect flavor balance. That they were able to pull this off in a festival tent is remarkable. So kudos to them. The other food that was coming out also looked good. If I'm ever out in Dundalk I'll definitely be stopping by for another delicious Deli-ish Reuben.

So today I had a company luncheon and saw Deli-ish on the CaterNation sight. I looked over the menu and saw that they weren't too expensive, pretty much reasonable. Knowing I had Faculty with dietary needs, I reached out to a CaterNation agent if this vendor could alter any sandwich for a person who's gluten free and to my surprised they replied by saying the vendor could accommodate. A total WIN!! I placed my order for an arrival time of 1130 today ( 9/24/25), to my shocker they delivered the food 15 minutes earlier. Something I'm definitely not mad at. The delivery was helpful and very punctual. Another Win!! The lunch boxes were in a brown box (nothing special). On the inside they had the sandwich/wrap, a bag of kettle chips, and a little serving of coleslaw, with Mike's mustard and mayonnaise packets. The sandwich was HEFTY (in a good way) I ordered a roast beef and another coworker ordered a tuna wrap, which was also HEFTY. They were so hefty I couldn't finish it, I wrapped the remaining up for later. The roast beef was well done (I prefer medium), but I understand why it was well done, but it was still good. My coworker said her tuna was delicious and sweet. She said it tasted like they put sweet onions in the wrap and dill in the tuna salad. The kettle chips were good as always and cole slaw was okay not bland, but not sweet either. Again another win! Final verdict, I'll be ordering from them again!!
