Ryan at the KOA in Cortez gave me this card when I asked whether he knew of any RV services in the…read morearea. I called them, and left a message, and Mrs. Ellie called me back a short time later. I explained that my diesel generator wouldn't work and that I had problems with my automatic steps, antennae dish and some sockets on the dash didn't work right. She said that they generally don't work on generators but that they likely could help me with the other things. I worked with her to set up an appointment the following afternoon. Mrs. Ellie called and asked whether Craig & Todd could come earlier and I said, "Sure!" They were there 10 minutes later! I explained that I thought the problem with the generator was that it wasn't getting any control voltage and that the generator engine was likely fine. They helped me trace the voltage from the batteries, to the generator, and then within the generator to the control panel. Long story short - they pretty much ended up taking off the front of my RV so we could get inside the generator to the place where some electrical relays had flaky contacts. Todd fixed them and then we put the whole thing back together - I now have a functioning generator thanks all to them!!! They also straightened and fixed my bent automatic steps and the activation switch in the door. They then fixed a couple of "dashboard" electrical connections (12V ports and switches) before finishing up making sure my antennae rotator on the roof was unobstructed. All in all, I give them an 18 on a 5-point scale! They were personable and friendly from the start with the phone call with Ellie. I came to know that they have owned an RV park in the past and now enjoy helping others get things fixed. They will come to where you are and do their best to help you get things done. All I can say is that they didn't normally work on generators but they sure helped me and fixed mine -- and I am so appreciative!

So, the day of the reservation, I drove an hour South from Durango and rolled along dirt roads in Aztec, NM, eventually finding Garricks in what seemed a desolate area. The remoteness of the area was disconcerting, I'll have to admit....but I got out and walked in.... Garrick and his wife were...simply AWESOME. Kind, knowledgeable, and forthright people. They knew EVERYTHING about their rentals, and were informative, helpful and supportive both before, during and after the trip. Their rates were fair. Their guidance about what to expect, dead-on. Anyone looking for an RV in the Four Corners area -- please do consider this family-owned establishment. They are of the highest character, and are trustworthy of doing business with. On July 4 a holiday I called Elizabeth at four corners she said bring it in and let's see if we can match it up or I will make you a great deal on a new toilet. When I arrived, I was probably greeted by Elizabeth. I showed her the valve I had and we looked on the shelf, but she didn't have that particular one. When she started showing me the new toilets, one of her guys from the back came up and asked to see the valve. hand it to him he went to the shop and came back a few minutes later with a new valve. I asked Elizabeth how much it was. She said it's not in our inventory so you can just have it. It was not till later that evening after I had installed the new valve that I saw the price on the package was $75. I don't know of any other dealer or Parts place that would have taken care of me the way she did, especially on a holiday. Thank you again, Elizabeth you really made a difference on our camping trip. CD brought his diagnostic know-how and a well-equipped service truck to my aide! I drove a…read more30-year-old motorcoach from Waco-area Texas to Pagosa Springs. My engine started the next morning in shutdown mode, a real downer indeed! I woke CD early Sunday morning and he arrived within 45-minutes. This is a third-generation-family-business, and CD quickly ascertained my 8v92 to be a two-stroker from his grandfather's era. He did not have a plug to fit my DDEC-II diag plug. But instead of closing the hood and driving away, he used his excellent skills to quickly assess that I had either a sensor or module-failure. He traced the wires as if he had wired it himself and found three suspect parts. Using old-school process of elimination, CD found my sensors to be good and my coolant-protection module failing. He bypassed the module and instructed me on how to carefully monitor the dash to watch for any potential of heating up. He advised that I climb Wolf Creek Pass in the cool of the day after a coming rain-shower. As he was leaving, he noticed a square-headed screw in my passenger-side tag tire. He had the tire off, repaired, and back on within a very short while. He provided information about my particular tires and advised driving patterns. He noted several positive aspects of my old rig and was generally complimentary when lesser mechanics might have condescended or refused my call because they "might not have the plug" or my favorite from Loves in Denton, "we don't have the wrenches to fit your bus!" I climbed WCP with no heating issues by following CD's recommendations. He told me exactly what grades to expect between PS and Leadville, and I found it to be just as he said. This morning, about 8 o' clock, CD called me to check in whether I had stayed in Pagosa overnight, and if not, had I had any trouble. I gave him the good report and told him I looked forward to doing business again. Protouch - Knowledgeable, responsive, professional, very well equipped, respectful - a very, very good experience.

He came over next morning and I preceded to inform him of what the last three shops/mechanics had diagnosed. Several Transmission selonoid faults. I asked him if he had time and a lift or bay that could handle my 13k lb class C RV. None of the other shops could accommodate me. He rambled on about shop RV insurance. Walked to his truck and said to call a shop in Aztec. I asked him if he was going to check my truck. He said no . I asked why, he said "he prefers not to work with people who think they know more than him.". This stranded 74 year old full time Rver for 12 years was flabbergasted . Rude and Unprofessional. Not a nice person at all.
