Brett, at Sedona Mobile RV Repair is an incredibly nice guy who thinks outside-the-box, who is very intuitive and this all seems to come very natural to him.
My name is Vicki, and I'd like to give Brett a 5* recommendation. Let me tell you why;
I met Brett and his wonderful family this summer on a weeks vacation at Emma Wood State Beach in Ventura, California. I have been going there ever since I've owned my vacation trailer, for 24 years. It's a wonderful beach spot right on the sand, and less than an hour away from where I live.
Background: I am raising my three grandchildren, and retired from a local school district on June 1, 2017. I have been taking these kids camping ever since they were born, but only over the past two years, I'm doing this by myself.
One of those windy days, I pulled my awning down but neglected to close one rail correctly. It wasn't bad but that error pulled the awning away from the trailer, at the base. Fortunately, I became friends with the campers on the other side of me. He helped me secure the awning on the trailer, but I was a bit concerned not having shade for the next few days and the trip home.
The next morning we headed to Starbucks. When we came back, that Neighbor had secured the awning to the trailer with rope going completely around the top of my trailer and under my trailer. Of course I was gracious regardless. They packed up and left the next morning.
Brett and his family drove in, on the other side. After chatting over many things, I showed him what I had done. Later Brett asked if I minded if he tried to fix it. (Are you kidding? Of course I didn't mind!) He explained that he had tools with him and he felt he could drill and screw longer, larger screws to secure it, and possibly fix it for good!
I felt a little guilty. After all, they had come to relax and enjoy the beach! But Brett seemed confident, and I was actually thrilled!
Brett said he was going to take a trip to Walmart for the screws. He secured the metal L-bracket on the sides, but wasn't satisfied. He went back to Walmart for larger screws for the underneath. Brett drilled and secured the base even more thoroughly. It looked 100 times better than the other side of the awning that had pulled out years prior. I had taken it to our local RV Repair clear across town.
A month later I had decided I was done camping and showed the trailer several times before finding the right family. Being honest, I explained the awning had been recently repaired. EVERYONE mentioned how much better it looked than the other side!
Thanks again Brett!
Sincerely,
