Both of us (hub and I) resigned ourselves to the fact that we either go with cold showers in Arizona (which wasn't that bad this time of year) or use the resort facilities to shower! After settling in, Truma gave us Brett as one of the recommendations (certified to fix their water heater) to get it fixed while here. Spoke with Brett and he special ordered our parts (went on past experience for what was wrong) and came out to fix it. He gave us a very fair quote (especially labor costs) and we were set. When he arrived to fix it once the parts came in, low and behold, our heat sensor broke as well. He had to order that part overnight! The shipping costs were more than the parts. I blame Fedex for that gouge. Brett installed all the parts and then the unit and my hot water was back!!! I asked him how much those parts will be and he said it's going to be $48 in parts and didn't mention how much the labor will be, and I expected to be no more than an hour because I already paid him to take the axles out. Change the seals while the axles were out changing U joints shouldn't be more than an hour of extra labor in my opinion later I found out his charging me three hours of labor and the parts are actually $200 for two u-joints. Instead of $500, which I was agreed the estimated that amount, now he wants me to pay $1300 I asked him to reduce the labor hours to five hours and I was going to pay the full amount and owner refuse to take any off, later on I went to the shop with some cash and the card. He refused to take the card from me. he says he doesn't trust me. I wish I just went to Walmart to get my oil changed never deal with these people.
