They are lightly breaded and tossed in the King sauce (i believe). It is a really unique flavor and has a slight kick at the end. Dunk it in the Queen sauce (green and my fav) and it cools it down. We also tried the dirty sodas that are limited time. I'm obsessed with the Baja cloud dirty soda. It also helped cool down the heat of the wings. Obsessed! The rice entrees are easily for 3 people. The wraps at least 2 hungry people. Orders take 15-20 minutes to prepare which they tell you up front. We got the Banana Pudding tres leches & Biscoff-Oreo tres leches to go. The base tres leches cake & cream frosting is really good. The banana pudding was ok but doesn't use real bananas. The strawberry one would probably be really good. We will be back!

I ordered one of my favorite breakfast dishes - corned beef hash which came with a few eggs I ordered sunny side up. The corned beef hash was delicious and the eggs were perfectly runny while the whites were crisp. This corned beef hash and the one at Ideal Diner are my two favorite corned beef hashes in the metro. There's literally no place like it in the Shoreview area. That said, it's a little pricey and the food can be hit or miss. My wife had the clam chowder. She said it was "fine" which means she's glad she didn't have to cook dinner but wasn't really impressed. I had the MN Wild Rice Casserole . It's a vegan dish which I appreciated as I have heart issues and try to avoid dishes with a lot of meat or fried ingredients. I asked the servers what they thought about it. They were less than enthusiastic, but I thought I'd try it anyway. I should have followed their lead. The dish was salty and otherwise not very flavorful. Heart healthy maybe, but I definitely wouldn't order it again. I only ate about a third of my dish. The server asked what I thought. I said it was "ok". I tried to convey my disappointment without really complaining. She kind of shrugged it off and walked away. No offer of any sort of replacement or attempt to rectify the situation. Maybe I should have been more direct. Churchill St is also a semi self serve type of place, which is fine. I kind of like that. What I don't like is an assumed tip that starts at 18%. Other than bringing out our food, there is no service. We got our own water. Went up to the counter and ordered our own drinks. Eventually a girl in a camo hoodie cleared our plates but that's it. It seems like they want to position themselves as an upscale casual place, but they fall short in a few key areas (food and service) In fairness, we have had better meals here in the past . My wife's $14 Chardonnay was really good and a generous pour. Churchill has potential and I am sure we'll be here again, but probably not for a while. Too bad, so sad. I guess.
