This is a place I've heard about but hadn't had a chance to try. We decided to go for dinner on a Saturday night. We got an order of the duck wontons but we were not fans. Instead of just duck bacon, corn, and cream cheese, which is what we thought would be inside, it also had peppers. The peppers overshadowed the rest of the ingredients so we didn't really taste any duck. I also got dry rub wings and mozzarella sticks. The mozzarella sticks were just okay, definitely on the small side. The wings had good flavor but were a tad dry. They were good but I wouldn't recommend going here just for the wings. My friend got the mushroom and Swiss burger with tots and really enjoyed that. She reported that the ranch was super good! read more

This place is a disgusting speck of Minneapolis, they let in "regulars" or "hot" ladies that wear sweatpants yet don't let in the younger crowd (20s-30s) wearing nice clothes which INCLUDE expensive sweatpants which look a hell of a lot better than half the outfits you see IN the bar lmao. They also shun the LGBTQ community and absolutely do NOT welcome their attendance. We went to spring street across the street and have never been more relieved. Bottom line.... We used to go to Spring Street Tavern a bit pre-pandemic for comedy shows in the basement and would pop into Moose from time to time pre-show. They have karaoke on Saturdays which seems fun. Apparently they have a dance floor (downstairs?), not sure but I've only been in the main area. The drinks have always been super cheap and the food seems reasonable as well. We are usually able to find a table or a place around the bar. They do have servers which is nice you can avoid the bar lines. They have a decent size parking lot but there is street parking available as well. Overall a fun place to hangout! Pretty mixed age crowd. read more

Love this place came here to join some friends for some bar food and drinks. The moose has a very lovely ambiance. Lucky for us when we came they were having a karaoke night which made the night 10 times better! Our service was very attentive and had some great recommendations for food. I got a Rueben sandwich with tater tot for about 12 bucks and the serving size was huge I love it. They held the check in here for the ZPC in October. The bar is def a fun place to be. They offer karaoke as well as a basement which serves as a giant dance floor. There's a bar on the main floor that also offers food. The basement has a bar as well. The bartenders were very nice and made our time enjoyable. read more

The food here is absolutely amazing. Soups are made in house from scratch. They have a server on until 2 AM every single night so if you're sitting down at a booth or table, the server is there for you. they always have a dj downstairs on weekends. She knew the menu inside and out, offered spot-on recommendations, and checked in at just the right times without ever hovering. Drinks arrived quickly, food was hot, and every request was handled with a smile. Alaina somehow balanced efficiency with real personality, making us feel like regulars on our very first visit. When the place got busy, she stayed calm, organized, and upbeat, which made the whole night run smoothly. DO NOT GO HERE!!! this bar is beyond janky, sticky, hot, slimy, so many people throwing up it's disgusting!!!! The DJ is my buddy and he was the most decent part of the bar. There's a bunch of old Pervy men who kept cat calling my fiancée and touching her in inappropriate ways. There's also "bar minimums" at this janky place which makes you purchase a minimum of 2 drinks! And then apparently they have a "dress code" for sweat pants and track suits but yet let people in swim trunks,baggy shorts and horrible attire in make it make sense. They draw the line that sweat pants/joggers yet someone wearing swim trunks and a wife beater with crocs was let in??? (Yes this is what I experiment! My brother got dress coded and I saw a guy with this attire one). On top of that the bouncers there don't regulate ANYTHING and I witnessed multiple escalations go on of SEVERELY drunk people trying to pick fights and start arguments.... People i don't know. I honestly felt the need to get on here and WARN people about this place because it is a total REDFLAG!!!!!! and would NOT ADVISE from going here! GO ELSEWHERE! save your money guys! This place should be shut down for the Inconvenience they provide and for the unsafe conditions! I wish people would speak out about this! My friends are beyond disappointed in this establishment! Moose Bar & Grill is nestled right in Northeast Minneapolis, and it's been around since 2001. I've been here numerous times for Vikings games, special occasions, and happy hour. It gets busy often, so expect it to be crowded if you're planning to come here to watch a sporting event. What I love about it, is the character is has - it's the kind of place where many regulars continue to visit. You see every kind of person here which is fun to be a part of and be around. The karaoke is so entertaining and brings out all the joy in folks singing and watching from their tables. I also enjoy their drink specials during Vikings games and daily specials - my favorite being their rib dinner for $14.99 on Wednesday nights from 4pm til they're out of them which includes their pork ribs, steamed veggies, and a baked potato. For me, it's an ideal size to share, but someone could easily eat an entire dinner by themselves. They also do 2-4-1's from 1-2pm on weekdays, so look out for that. They also do late night breakfast from 10pm - 2am and I can't say I know many places that offer that. They have a huge parking lot too, so no worries about not being able to find parking which is rare for Minneapolis. Feel free bringing groups here. What I'm not crazy about, is how mediocre the food can be at times. The wings are so hit or miss and I wish I could rave about them all the time. When they're good, I'd suggest their garlic buffalo (saucy), cajun or Moose seasoning (both dry rubs). Wings come with celery and ranch or bleu cheese. I've had occasions where the wings are great and occasions where they've been cold, like they came from the freezer and hadn't fully thawed. Pizzas are the same in that it's variable and the cook can be inconsistent. Don't get their bruschetta or chili either - so disappointing. The bruschetta was gross, to be frank. It's certainly not an Italian place, so another reason I wouldn't order it. Service can take awhile too, both at tables and at the bar, but I'm understanding about this when they have a lot of customers. read more

Tried to go there after a MN Wild game on 12/19 around 11:45 pm. Got there and the bouncer said "we're closed for the night" while OBVIOUSLY not being anywhere close to capacity. I didn't have the energy to argue with the bouncer so I was leaving with my friends when I noticed that the dude let 2 people (a guy and girl) in less than 30 seconds later... kinda crazy. If you're gonna stay "closed for the night" pretty sure you can't be selective about who you let in... but what do I know., I'm just another industry individual as well , my place of work wouldn't do that . read more

Maddie is such a rock star, she is always on top of things, very attentive, serves with a smile and good for a few laughs. I know when I'm looking for a good meal and great service to stop here, they won't disappoint. Today I tried teriyaki chicken tacos and I wish I had gotten another order of them, they were just that darn good. I'll definitely be getting those again. The best thin crust pizza in northeast Minneapolis, actually the best pizza in the twin cities. Only old world pizza in IGH comes close or the now closed Savoy on 7th downtown St. Paul. During a family reunion in Minneapolis, a few of the younger generation wanted to go out for Karaoke, a fun night out and to get a feel for the city night life. Unfortunately, security at the door was immediately hostile, obstructive and non-communicative. Beginning with the struggle to understand how an Indiana ID works, the group was refused entrance, told they were aggressive for asking why they weren't allowed into the bar and treated horribly. Despite having several amazing days enjoying our gorgeous city, this incident at NE Moose Bar and Grill left everyone (including the Mpls family!) with a bad impression. I won't be back, I'll share my opinion widely, and I don't recommend anyone bring their awesome out of town cousins to NE Moose Bar and Grill! May I add that the group was in their mid twenties to early thirties and included a middle school math teacher, a special ed teacher, a medical student and two video production professionals. It was a football Sunday afternoon and the place was packed with locals watching the Vikings game. I came here because, as an out-of-towner, I wanted to experience my first meat raffle. It was a success. After downing a Grain Belt and listening to the patrons cheer on various touchdowns, I ended up winning a $20 gift card to a local meat market (only paid like $10 in raffle tickets to get to that point). We've been going here for 10 years. Last night was the last visit. there was a heightened alert of security causing an unsafe vibe. We witnessed one guy ask security to watch him walk to bathroom, and witnessed fights break out with folks being choke held and escorted out. Front door was blocked off and cops outside. Had to wait 40 min to be able to exit. There was a lot of sketchy behavior all around with a lot of innocent, uncomfortable and many oblivious bar goers. We had a group of 6, from all different backgrounds and genders. We all felt unsafe. 2 of my friends got pushed around from the fights that broke out. Watch your surroundings inside and out if you do visit. Otherwise, avoid and take business elsewhere. read more

I came here with a bunch of friends for a celebratory event. We ordered plenty of booze and played darts, and sang karaoke. The service was friendly and good. Bartenders were friendly and accommodating for your orders. The atmosphere is fun but not chaotic nor obnoxious. Unfortunately when it came to the food I wasn't too pleased. I ordered some Ghost wings and got Buffalo wings with a tiny bit more of a kick. Not at all what I wanted especially for a heat freak like me. The Burger was just fine, not bad but not great. The burger I got came with bacon, tomato, lettuce and and egg. I personally love a good runny egg in my burger and thus burger achieves that. Another thing I noticed about the burger was that the beef patty is pretty thick so be prepared to adjust your jaw! Overall I had a great time there and made good memories and might make some more down tge line. But speaking in terms of food it's pretty average. read more
