Iced Matcha Latte with Strawberry Cold Foam
    Bill P.

YO - this place ROCKS. The owner + baristas are so passionate and knowledgable about everything they do, and are always happy to give you some reccs if you are looking to try something new. Coffee snobs can nerd out with these guys because of how seriously they take their craft, and regular folks like me can ask for their advice and make sure you take it. My recent obsession from these guys: iced matcha latte with their strawberry cold foam. Its insanely good.

Merge Coffee's cart was among the most popular things in the expo hall. The line was long but Merge's workers were efficient and made delicious drinks. I visited Merge's coffee cart several mornings for a chai tea with oat milk. This is such a good idea for conferences and expos. I highly recommend Merge Coffee for your next conference.

Visited Merge for the first time and really enjoyed it! Prices are a bit above average (so a slight splurge), but worth it for the quality coffee! They also make their chai concentrate in house. The staff was kind, and the outdoor seating makes it a great spot to read, chat, or just relax. Just a heads-up: there doesn't seem to be indoor seating, so keep that in mind as the weather starts to change.

Five star coffee and service! So excited for them and their new space! I love the outdoor patio and walk up window. Sweet staff and delicious coffee. Can't wait for their business to grow!

Medium iced latte w/extra shot and two stevia. And my glasses. Delightful.

Stop. Look no further. You've found the best coffee in Nashville. And the owners are remarkably friendly. I got an iced latte and was delighted they had stevia for me too. Got a place you're eyeing closer? Skip it and head over to Merge!

Merge Coffee was very kind and patient! The coffee was great cold or hot delicious espresso taste. There is a pretty building good for pictures and seating outside covered or uncovered. Parking is easy and convenient as well.

I am so excited to for this newly opened quality coffee shop near me! I had not heard of Merge prior to their opening of this spot, but they have been around with their coffee cart stations and corporate/wedding events. This is a walk up window shop with an outdoor covered patio - which was perfect as it happened to be raining when I arrived. I met Bryson, who along with his wife, co-own & operate Merge! I was very impressed with the espresso blend they had on rotation - Dessert Oasis out of Michigan - and went with their Bourbon Vanilla (Oat) Iced Latte and it was so good! They actually made their own syrup and bottle it to buy if you love it - which I do and may buy to use for coffee and cocktails. Their signature drinks all sound amazing, I want to work my way through them - I love the idea of an islandy matcha for the summer and they currently have one with coconut and lime, will be my next order! This is random but I have to say, I noticed and appreciated their perfectly square ice cubes - so cute - a little extra love toward making a perfect experience. Service was quick as there was only one person ahead of me, I can see this spot being busy when the weather is nice and people want to hang. Enthusiastic 5/5 for me, can't wait to try all the drinks!

I was visiting from California and just completed our SolidCore workout and NEEDED our coffee fix. My son had seen this new plant shop and remembered there was a new coffee shop inside. It was perfect because on Sunday there is not a lot coffee shops around their area- so we were pleasantly when this new coffee shop opened!! It is a small setup but definitely worth a visit. The owner. Bryson told us about the history of the shop and their growth of their business. Best of Luck!!

It feels historic in the best way, like it's lived a few lives (old house shoe repair shop now a coffee spot that somehow makes you want to slow down and stay awhile). We didn't try any food this time, but based on the long line of people happily waiting for it, I'm taking that as a strong sign. The coffee, though? Legit. You can tell the beans are fresh, smooth, clean, and more "grown-up, sophisticated coffee flavor" than sugary coffee dessert. We ordered an iced caramel latte and an espresso martini (hold the cream) and both were excellent. The latte was balanced and smooth, and the espresso actually came through (not hidden under caramel). The espresso martini was the surprise star: they add an orange liqueur that gives it a little citrus lift, which makes it taste brighter and more interesting than the standard version. Naturally, we left with a bag of their espresso beans because now we're convinced we can recreate that martini at home. Will it be as good as Frothy Monkey's? Probably not. But we're going to try... you know, for science. If you like places with personality, history, and coffee that tastes like someone actually cares, this one's top of the list.

I enjoyed my coffees each day and loved the seasonal offerings they had as well! My daughter tried the chorizo biscuits and gravy one morning too and said they were very good! All in all, a cute location, great service, yummy food and drinks!

They have started doing a little better about having outlet options, but mainly at those tall, long skinny tables. The other semi complaint I have is that they close early. 3 pm is early when you want to try and work. Drinks are good. I don't drink a ton of coffee these days, but what I've had there was good. I get either their chai or matcha. Both of those I enjoy! I had a sandwich there recently. I wanted to roll my eyes at the price truthfully. However, when it came.. WOAH. It was GIANT. I was thoroughly impressed. It was really really good. I had to take half of it home and put it in the fridge. When I came back home hours later... it was STILL GOOD. The bread was not soggy either! That's HUGE! Ok so overall, I highly recommend this place and it's one of my go to spots.

There was a line when we arrived, but it wasn't so bad. It moved by pretty quickly. While in line, you bypass all the pastries displayed behind the glass and they looked beautiful! Everything looked amazing. I ended up ordering the Twice Baked Croissant and the Fried Chicken Breakfast Sandwich. The Twice Baked Croissant was just incredible. It had pistachios on top, a pistachio cream inside, and also a cherry or raspberry jam inside too. I love pistachios, and the pistachio cream inside was so light, creamy, delicate, but flavorful. I absolutely loved all the different textures. The croissant was airy and fluffy inside, and the outside had a nice flaky exterior. And the fruit jam inside complemented the pistachio cream very well, it added a nice sweetness that blended well with the cream. For me, it tied the whole thing together. I will definitely be thinking of this pastry when I think of pistachio croissants. And for the Fried Chicken Breakfast Sandwich? Wow. I didn't know what to expect, but it was much larger than I anticipated. It was tall, like when I was bringing it to the table the top part of the bun almost fell off my plate because it had height. The fried chicken piece was great: juicy and had a nice golden color. It was crispy and also quite large for a chicken piece.. All the components about it were executed well: the fried chicken, the coleslaw! (i'm a coleslaw fanatic), and the sauce inside the sandwich was wonderful. Also last but not least, the fried egg too? Wow. I love a good runny egg. I'm not exaggerating, I was drenching the pieces of my sandwich in the sauce on my plate. It was just that good. Genuinely, I couldn't believe I finished that sandwich because it was very filling and that fried chicken piece was huge! Service was fast and friendly, I liked interacting with them. It is pretty small inside and we came on a weekend so it was busy and packed. We were lucky to snag a small table but it was difficult to find seating when we got our food. All in all, I'm so happy we came here. Yes it is a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. The quality is clearly there and showed up through everything we got. I had such a memorable time, thank you for taking care of us!
